Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is known to rub people the wrong way – but it’s mostly for his poor timing and TikTok dances.
It appears he might actually be in some trouble now as he’s been accused of assaulting a waiter and the owner of a restaurant.
According to The Kansas City Star, police are investigating reports of Jackson shoving a 19-year-old male waiter last weekend and, in a separate incident, forcibly kissing the 40-year-old female owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge.
The latter, Aspen Vaughn, told said publication that the authorities have seen video footage of the incident and are weighing up the evidence.
The police declined to release a pertinent incident report as the matter is still under investigation but have asked that anyone with information should contact them.
“The Police Department is aware of an incident that occurred on Feb. 25, 2023, at a business near 151st and Metcalf,” they said in a statement.

“The department is still investigating. Releasing any additional information would be inappropriate at this time. Anyone with information should contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.”
Brendan Davies, an attorney for Jackson, insists the QB’s brother did nothing wrong.
“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” he said.
“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
This is not the first time Jackson has been accused of inappropriate behavior with service industry workers. It remains to be seen what will come out of this report.
The 22-year-old watched his older brother win the Super Bowl less than a month ago and it’s been all good times since. He’s re-emerged on social media with, as it appears, a vengeance. Given the latest, though, he might want to tone things down a bit.
