Pat McAfee had to apologize to Jimmy Kimmel over an Epstein joke from New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers made on his ESPN show on Tuesday. He had no clue that Epstein would be brought up yet again the following day.
The ESPN host opened his program Wednesday by addressing the feud between Rodgers and Kimmel, which escalated Tuesday when Kimmel suggested that he could take Rodgers to court about what he had to say about him.
Rodgers suggested that late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel’s name might appear in the documents.
Former NFL defensive end J.J. Watt saw an opportunity and simply couldn’t help but talk about Jeffrey Epstein while on “The Pat McAfee Show” this Wednesday.
“My breaking news was actually that I know absolutely nothing about the Epstein list,” Watt said. “But I don’t want to get in trouble. I know nothing. I don’t want any flights. I don’t need anybody calling me out. I don’t need any lawsuits. I know nothing.”
It was such a random comment that even McAfee had to throw his hands on his face.

Cast members let out awkward chuckles as Watt is seen laughing at his own joke.
‘I know nothing, I don’t want any fights, I don’t need anybody calling me out, I don’t need any lawsuits, I know nothing,’ Watt added.
Epstein was a millionaire who was formerly associated with celebrities, politicians, and other affluent figures.
He was arrested in 2005 following accusations he paid a 14-year-old girl for sex. In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty and served 13 months in a jail work-release program.
Epstein was charged with sex trafficking in 2019 and killed himself in jail while awaiting trial. Many either believe someone else killed him or he is actually still alive somewhere on an island.
