Mecole Hardman has a chance to emerge as one of Patrick Mahomes’ favorite targets in his second NFL season.
He’s already dropped something very important to him and the franchise and the season hasn’t even started. The Chiefs received their rings on Tuesday night, with the players each getting their own tables to stay socially distanced amid a pandemic.
While others had no issue opening their box to get their rings, the Kansas City Chiefs wideout dropped his in less than 15 seconds as he tried to record the moment with his phone.
“Hey, did y’all see me drop my ring?” Hardman asked. “Did y’all see that? Y’all gonna put it on there? Awww, y’all can’t do that to me.”
Hardman had a key part in the Chiefs’ comeback win over the Houston Texans in the playoffs, helping to win momentum with a big return, and he was named to the Pro Bowl.
