This has to be the most insane take that anybody has had over the suspension of Sha’Carri Richardson.
On Friday, a woman by the name of Claire Lehmann, who has over 222K followers, went viral stating how Richardson’s long nails are a side effect of steroid use.
Even when she corrected many times, she doubled down in the comments.
“Not sure whether the nails are real or fake, but in case you didn’t know very strong nails & hair can be a side effect of steroid use.”
“Look, people in track know who is and who isn’t on the roids. Just because they couldn’t ping her on it doesn’t mean they don’t know.”

“Flo Jo, obvious drug user, had the nails. She died in her sleep at age 38 because that’s what a lifetime of drug use does to the body (and why it’s supposed to be banned from elite sports).”
NBA player Isaiah Thomas and NFL WR Dez Bryant took to Twitter and couldn’t help but to respond the nonsense accusation.
“Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha keep reaching!!! Her tattoos must have roids in them too huh?”
Dez Bryant also chimed in: “She got to be joking”
“She crazy for saying that”
Richardson, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Friday, accepted a one-month suspension after testing positive for THC at the trials. She has since been retroactively disqualified from the trials, and will now not be able to compete in her signature event in the Olympics.
Richardson confirmed on “The Today Show” on Friday that she ingested marijuana after she learned of the death of her biological mother.
“I know what I did, I know what I’m supposed to do, what I’m allowed not to do,” she said. “And I still made that decision.”
