Isaac Wilson is a young man who won’t let pain stop him from playing football and being great.
Corner Canyon quarterback Isaac Wilson, a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, had quite the game last week after he recently had surgery.
On August 28th, Wilson underwent a minor surgery to remove bone fragments from his knee.
His mother, Lisa, suggested he should take some time off from the field to fully recover. He did not listen.
Isaac was there on Saturday night five days after his procedure to lead his team to victory. The state’s top-ranked team beat Farmington Phoenix 42-3 as Wilson finished with four touchdowns.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Wilson is rated a top 15 overall quarterback prospect nationally by 247 Sports, Rivals, and ESPN and is the fourth commit in the Utes’ 2024 recruiting class, and the first quarterback.
Wilson holds scholarship offers from a dozen Power Five schools, but chose to take his talents to the Utah Utes.
Wilson completed 61.8% of his passes for 3,772 yards, 40 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions last season for Corner Canyon, his first year as a starter. He is also a threat on the ground as he added 694 yards and five touchdowns in helping the Chargers reach the 6A state championship game, where Corner Canyon lost to Skyridge 17-7.
The Chargers are back in action this Friday as they face the 4-0 Syracuse Titans.
