It took a day longer than expected, but Will Levis has realized his dream of making it to the NFL.
The Tennessee Titans selected the quarterback as the 33rd overall pick on Friday night, bringing an end to a worrying slide. Levis had been tipped to be a top-five pick on Thursday night, which is why he was in attendance. However, the night ended on an embarrassing note as he fell out of the first round.
The New Titans signal-caller dominated the headlines as a result of his televised shame, as did his girlfriend Gia Duddy, though for different reasons.
Duddy was shown next to the player nearly every time cameras panned to him, prompting fans to search her out online as they wondered who she was.
According to Kentucky Wildcats insider Tristan Pharis, searches for the term “Will Levis girlfriend” had gone up by a whopping 53,500 percent as of Friday.
Gia’s Instagram following has also almost doubled since Thursday night as she’s gone from 58K followers to 110K.
