Things are not going well for Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Hurts remains in concussion protocol as the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for Sunday’s wild-card game against the Green Bay Packers.
An NFL insider made it clear that Hurts is yet to clear protocol, and although he was on the field for walk-through on Saturday, Hurts has yet to get in any real practice time as the playoff game draws near.
He further added that even if he does get to practice, Jalen Hurts still needs to be assessed for reoccurring symptoms. If you do, it would put Hurts right back at the beginning of the protocol’s program.
"A massive deal. … This team could be eliminated week one of the playoffs." 😯

The Eagles Go Nowhere Without Jalen Hurts
The Philadelphia Eagles had aspirations of snatching the No. 1 seed in the NFC away from the Detroit Lions, but an unhealthy Jalen Hurts crushed those dreams.
Hurts suffered a concussion in the Eagles’ Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders, and he has not touched the field since.
Philadelphia’s backup quarterback, Kenny Pickett, played the remainder of the game in Week 16 and started Week 17 as Tanner McKee closed out the Eagles’ regular-season slate vs. the Giants in Week 18.
If Hurts is not cleared for action on Saturday, the Eagles’ entire season will rest upon Kenny Pickett.
The Eagles are scheduled to play Sunday during the wild card round.
Jalen Hurts has not been seen at practice since suffering the concussion in Week 16.
Without him, this team will not go far, and everything could end in the Wild card round.
