When Tom Brady announced he was un-retiring from the NFL and returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this March, his wife Gisele Bundchen was one of the very first people to react to the news.
Gisele showed support to her husband and even shared her excitement regarding Brady’s return to the Buccaneers to take care of some unfinished business.
According to People, Brady consulted Bundchen about his comeback and it was ultimately a “family decision.”
“Gisele has been vocal about wanting him to retire for years, but she’s also his biggest cheerleader. He would never do it if she weren’t on board,” a source told People. “Everything they do they decide as a family.”
The 44-year-old still feels determined to play and continue his career. And his wife supports that.
“She wants Tom to be happy, but she is always worried about him getting injured,” another source shared to People.

Prior to Brady’s comeback announcement, there were already a lot of talks about his potential return. But nobody knew it would come so soon.
One of Brady’s main reasons for initially calling it a career was his family, mentioning in previous interviews that he wants to be a good husband to Gisele and a great father to their kids. The fire inside of him is still burning strong for the game of football. So until he starts to suck on the field, we will likely see Brady playing well into his late 40’s.
