Drake’s reaction to Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl 59 halftime performance has been revealed in the wake of the controversial appearance.
Lamar headlined the show after the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs got off the field for the midway break, bringing on some high-profile guests, including SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, and Serena Williams.
The performance split the opinion; some branded it the worst halftime show ever, while others thought it was brilliant. In any case, the flared jeans the 37-year-old wore on the night have since sold out in stores.
Lamar sang his “Not Like Us” hit, which disses Drake as it refers to him as a pedophile. He also wore a chain bearing a lowercase “a” pendant to highlight the “a minor” line and called the Canadian out by name while on stage.
According to Entertainment Tonight, one feeling sums it all up for OVO: “Angry.”
The publication claims the hip-hop artist is upset but has been acting “like he doesn’t care” and isn’t showing his feelings outwardly. How this was all determined is unknown, however.

Drake Could Make His Feelings Known Soon Enough
There were concerns about Drake pursuing legal action before the Super Bowl. Now that he’s been called out, what he does remains to be seen.
He has already launched a lawsuit against the label UMG, claiming that they promoted the song illegally, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he tried taking someone to task over Lamar’s outing on Sunday.
Per reports, Lamar was advised against performing the song due to the risk of a legal clapback but was insistent on doing so anyway, given that it’s been his biggest hit.
He has since set a record for the most monthly listeners on the Spotify platform.
