This week, Aaron Rodgers emerged from his darkness retreat in remote Oregon. He did so some two days sooner than his actual plan. We are now seeing why he may have made that decision.
Rodgers originally told “The Pat McAfee Show” he would spend four days in total darkness “to contemplate all things” and “make a decision that I feel like is best for me moving forward in the highest interest in my happiness.”
Rodgers contemplated whether he should return to the NFL and his near $60 million annual paycheck inside a spartan 300-square-foot room. By now, you have seen pictures of the retreat, bt now we are seeing video of an actual person spending time in the sky cave and it seems quite frightening.
Sky Cave Retreats owner Scott Berman told ESPN Rodgers stayed in a 300 square foot space that is devoid of light featuring a queen bed, bathroom and meditation mat on the floor.
While Aaron Rodgers was there thinking of his future, the retreat workers delivered two organic meals per day. Those meals were pushed through a double door.
You can surely see that from the video.
