Thursday Night Football might be a game where we see a ton of running.
The weather report coming out might impact the passing game for both the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. The weather in Foxborough for Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime between the Bills and Patriots will not be that extreme, but wind gusts may impact a lot with what is going on during the game.
“It is so windy right now in Foxboro,” WKBW’s Matthew Bove tweeted. “These gusts are insane.”
Not to mention, it’s already cold, and when you combine that with wind, it’s going to make for a terrible environment for the players.
The Bills know all too well how weather can screw things up as they are less than two weeks removed from having to move a home game to Ford Field in Detroit due to several feet of Buffalo snowfall.
You may remember the weather was a factor during last December’s Patriots-Bills game. That contest experienced sustained wind levels between 22 and 23 mph. The Patriots ended up calling just three pass plays all day compared to 46 runs.
