Avery Williamson‘s first year with the New York Jets went extremely well as he racked up a new career-high in tackles with a team-leading 120, adding 3 sacks, 1 interception, six pass deflections, and two forced fumbles to complete a stellar first season in New York.
His second season went terribly, because he would never see the field. Williamson suffered a torn ACL in the second game of the preseason sidelining him for all of 2019.
That doesn’t mean he wasn’t going to be in uniform.
Just before the Jets were set to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, the linebacker took to Twitter and posted an awesome photo of himself in full uniform riding a subway.
Not the first time he did something like this. Back in November, the 27-year-old showed up to a grocery store the same exact way.
