Kyle Allen was carted off the field Sunday in a game against the New York Giants after suffering a gruesome ankle injury.
In the first quarter, the Washington Football Team quarterback snapped the ball and began to roll to his right when he came under pressure from Giants safety Jabrill Peppers.
Peppers appeared to trip him and Allen could be seen with his ankle not pointing the correct way on a human body.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting that while Allen did dislocate his ankle, the fracture wasn’t as bad as it first appeared.
Washington acquired Allen in a trade with the Carolina Panthers in the offseason.
