Yep, that’ll ruin your day, and I don’t care how much money you have. Losing millions is still losing millions.
The infamous “let-it-ride” gambler, who pocketed $24 million in 2018 after betting on the World Series and Super Bowl LII, finally saw his hot streak come to a crashing end during Super Bowl LIII.
‘Bettor X,’ as he has come to be known, placed a series of bets on the Rams that came back to bite him hard.
X put an approximate $2-million money-line bet on the Rams at MGM. He wasn’t finished as woke up the next day and made another money-line bet for approximately $1.5 million at William Hill. He then followed that up with a $300,000 money-line bet at South Point.
In all, he lost at least $3.8 million on the three bets, according to Ben Fawkes of ESPN.
