Liberty’s Malik Willis believes he should be the first quarterback off the board in next month’s NFL draft, and after the below video, somebody is about to draft an outstanding young man.
The 22-year-old could become an NFL organization’s next franchise quarterback in just a month as well as being rich overnight, but he will never let money change who he is as he displayed when video showed the NFL Draft prospect outside the NFL Scouting Combine helping a homeless person in need.
The footage was caught by a guy from across the street as Willis had no idea he was on camera at the time.
“Was having lunch yesterday and saw one of the Combine guys helping out someone on some hard times…,” tweeted Ryan Lacey. “@malikwillis being great even when nobody is watching. How can you not be a fan of this guy?
Willis threw for 2,857 yards with 27 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and rushed for 878 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in his second season with Liberty after transferring from Auburn.
Whichever teams selcts him, Willis has gained a ton of fans with his amazing gesture.
