If the shooting at the Justin Bieber after party wasn’t enough of a warning, Ice-T sent a stern warning to any young rappers thinking about descending upon Los Angeles for Super Bowl weekend.
Earlier today, news broke that rapper Kodak Black and two others were shot outside The Nice Guy in Los Angeles. Thankfully, no one was killed, but Kodak and three others had to be taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Los Angeles is clearly one place where you don’t want to be starting shit on the streets, and in case that wasn’t already evident, Ice-T sent out a little reminder on Twitter.
The 63-year-old rapper warned any “young rappers coming to LA for the Super Bowl” that the city has over 50,000 active gang members, referring to it as, “The Wild West.”
Los Angeles has been known as “the Gang Capital of America,” with over 400 gangs reportedly residing in the city.

Let’s hope EVERYONE (not just young rappers) take Ice-T’s advice. The last thing anyone wants to see is Sunday’s big game being overshadowed by some tragic event off the field.
