More than two weeks after the death of Tina Tintor and her dog Max, the Las Vegas community came together in a huge way to honor both of them.
The 23-year-old was killed with her golden retriever in a fiery DUI crash involving former Raider Henry Ruggs III earlier this month. In the crowd was Tintor’s mom, who showed up in all black, to the “pack walk” to honor the two lives lost.
Around 200 people attend with their pups to honor Tina and Max and to speak out on the dangers of drunk driving.
Tina’s uncle says they appreciate all the support during this painful time but right now they have to fight for justice.

Ruggs is accused of driving 156 mph with a blood-alcohol level of 0.16% — twice the legal limit in Nevada — before his Chevrolet Corvette slammed into the rear of Tina Tintor’s vehicle before dawn on Nov. 2.
Tintor and her dog essentially were burned to death as flames consumed her Toyota Rav4 SUV.
Ruggs was released by the Raiders and is on house arrest with strict conditions while his criminal case proceeds. He posted $150,000 bail for his release from jail a week ago.
According to the court record, Ruggs faces four-times-a-day alcohol testing because his medical condition prevented him from being fitted with an electronic device to detect the use of alcohol.
Ruggs was picked 12th overall in the 2020 NFL draft after three years at Alabama during which he helped the Crimson Tide win the NCAA championship as a freshman in 2017.
As a rookie in 2020, he had 26 catches for 452 yards and two touchdowns. He was emerging as a star for the team this season with 24 catches for a team-high 469 yards and two touchdowns.
He will likely never play in the NFL again.
