Months later, we’re getting more details in the final days of Hue Jackson as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns and the issues that extended beyond the terrible play of the team on the field.
On Thursday, ESPN’s Seth Wickersham sent out a damning report on the division within the ranks of the Cleveland Browns and that included a colorful exchange between upper management and former head coach Hue Jackson.
On October 29th, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and general manager John Dorsey walked into Jackson’s office to fire him, but when Jackson asked them why he was being let go, and Dorsey stated the team had quit on him — Jackson had this to say:
“Get the f— out of my office,” Jackson responded, according to Wickersham.
If Jackson was that bold to speak to the owner and GM that way, you can only wonder what was said to QB Baker Mayfield behind closed doors, which is why he continues to take shots at his former head coach.
