Howie Roseman was feeling quite good on Thursday night.
The Philadelphia Eagles general manager believes he’s already made up for his past blunders behind his front office desk by bringing a Super Bowl parade to the City of Brotherly Love. So he decided to let fans know about it during a hilarious exchange following the Eagles’ 29-17 road win over the Houston Texans on Thursday night.
If you don’t follow the Eagles that closely, the fans are talking about the front office’s decision to spend high picks on JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Jalen Reagor. Both wide receivers are no longer with the Eagles and are both considered busts.
However, those picks came well after the team won Super Bowl 52 in 2018 when they took down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to deliver the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Philly.
The Eagles are now 8-0 and could very well have another Super Bowl parade coming to town at the end of the 2022 NFL season. The team is simply soaring on the field. After taking down the Texans, the team has an NFC East clash with the Washington Commanders, whom they had already defeated before back in Week 3 on the road, 24-8.
