Every month, we seemingly go threw several days of massive Deshaun Watson trade rumors just for absolutely nothing to happen.
NFL insider Charles Robinson reported Saturday that the Miami Dolphins had emerged as the frontrunner to land Watson. Robinson reported that Houston was asking the Dolphins for three first-round draft picks and two second-round picks.
Pro Football Talk added that a deal could be done by Tuesday and there are two finalists for Watson’s services.
“Multiple executives from teams not directly involved in the discussions tell PFT that there’s mounting chatter that Watson will be traded in the coming days,” Florio wrote. “The two finalists are believed to be the Panthers and the Dolphins. (The Broncos and Eagles also had been linked to Watson.) If it happens, it would turn things upside down for whichever team gets Watson.”
Texans insider Aaron Wilson decided to throw cold water on the entire situation when he shot down all the chatter.
“The Texans haven’t agreed to trade Watson to the Miami Dolphins, the primary suitor for the former Clemson star, and no deal is regarded as imminent despite a lot of conversations and speculation surrounding the three-time Pro Bowl selection, according to multiple league sources not authorized to speak publicly,” Wilson wrote.

Watson was listed as the fourth-string quarterback with the Texans and did not play in the preseason this month.
His biggest issues are off the field as he continues to deal with some 22 women accusing him of sexual misconduct and assault.
Mark Berman of Fox26 KRIV in Houston reported law enforcement is considering charging him.
“According to sources with knowledge of the situation there is a Harris County grand jury investigation being used to determine if there is sufficient evidence to bring criminal charges against Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson stemming from the 22 civil lawsuits filed against him alleging sexual misconduct and sexual assault,” Berman wrote on Twitter this month. “According to sources, Johna Stallings, Human Trafficking Section Chief for the Harris County District Attorney’s office is sending out the subpoenas for the investigation.”
