The Houston Texans received some excellent news on Saturday afternoon, hours before their win-or-go-home game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, star offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (groin) and rookie standout Will Anderson Jr. (ankle) are “expected to play”. Both mainstays were previously listed as questionable.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Tunsil has again been a rock on the Texans’ offensive line this season in the 13 games he’s suited up for. Anderson Jr., the third overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, has seven sacks and 44 combined tackles.
The winner of Saturday’s showdown will clinch a postseason berth. If the Jacksonville Jaguars lose to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, then the Colts-Texans victor will take home the AFC South division crown.
