Jadeveon Clowney has been putting in the work for years and seriously wants to get paid.
Things only got worse when the Texans elected to franchise tag him over the offseason. He has not been in camp and did not participate during the team’s first preseason game as a result.
Apparently, the Houston Texans had a trade partner in place to send him packing, but Clowney reportedly nixed the deal and is threatening to sit out the entire preseason.

The No. 1 pick in 2014, Clowney has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of the last three seasons. Over that time, he’s played 45 games with 24.5 sacks, 53 tackles for loss and 59 quarterback hits.
