The memory and legacy of Demaryius Thomas deserved so much better than this.
Per FOX31 out of Colorado, the late former Denver Broncos star had his house broken into by several people. The people are accused of stealing items that are worth thousands of dollars.
On Sunday, Thomas’ mother called the police and said that multiple people were inside her son’s home, which should have been abandoned and empty. Multiple items were stolen, including an ESPY Award, a signed Tom Brady jersey, and a whole lot of cash.
The report suggested a party may have been thrown as police found marijuana, cocaine, and a gun magazine in the pool room.
Thomas was tragically found deceased last December at the age of 33, due to a seizure. He spent nine seasons with the Broncos and totaled 9,055 receiving yards with 60 touchdowns on 665 catches.
He also helped Denver win the Super Bowl in 2016 after he finished with 1,083 yards along with five touchdowns on 90 receptions for the season.
Multiple warrants have been sent out to find the people responsible for breaking in the home.
