Herm Edwards is sick and tired of talking about the Dallas Cowboys.
The former Arizona State head coach was n ESPn this week as the First Take crew talked about their “Early 2023 NFL Power Rankings for next season.” He became incredibly annoyed when the crew wanted to speak about the Cowboys, who came in at number 6 on the list.
“Why do we even have the Cowboys in the conversation at six? Why don’t we just go seven? We had to stop at six, we had to talk about the Cowboys. I’m tired of the Cowboys.”
The Cowboys did not win the NFC East last year, but they did defeat the Tampa Bay Bucs in the Wild Card Round and sent Tom Brady into his second retirement. They would then go down to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round for the second-straight season.
The team still hasn’t played past that game since the mid 90s. Despite their lack of success, they are the most polarizing team in the NFL and garner some of the highest rated games every year.
They will be talked about and seen no matter how Edwards feels about the situation.
