The Carolina Panthers have had enough.
The team dropped to 1-10 after a close loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and the owner was not happy about it.
Less than 24 hours later, it was announced that the Panthers had fired head coach Frank Reich.
Fox’s Jay Glazer reported on Nov. 19 that Reich’s “seat is getting quite hot” and “without a doubt, Frank Reich has the hottest seat in the league.” It took nine days before that seat boiled over.
Three of the previous four Panthers coaches with at least 12 losses were fired. Reich couldn’t even make it to that number.
To say things are going poorly in Carolina would be an understatement, and owner David Tepper is ready to move onto his fourth head since he bought the team in 2018.

Tepper reportedly is very involved in his franchise’s decisions, including the franchise-changing trade to move up to grab Bryce Young with the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, ahead of MVP candidate and likely Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson.
Stroud looks like a franchise-changing player while Young has just nine touchdowns and eight interceptions.
