Bryce Young has a bright NFL career ahead of him that’ll be filled with plenty of souvenir touchdown balls. But he probably wanted to keep his first ever NFL touchdown ball in that collection…
Unfortunately, that may no longer be possible after Carolina Panthers tight end Hayden Hurst threw it a mile into the stands at Mercedez-Benz Stadium.
If the Panthers were playing at home, this ball may have been easier to retrieve. However, they’re on the road, so I’d expect the lucky Falcons fan who caught it won’t be turning it over to the Carolina quarterback for cheap.
Either way, Young’s first career touchdown has his team tied with the Falcons in the first half, 7-7. If his team gets the win, I’m sure the Panthers staff will make sure Hurst doesn’t throw away Bryce’s game ball as well.
