Due to all the drama surrounding Antonio Brown and the Oakland Raiders, tonight’s episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks might be the most rated show in history.
AB has been the main topic around the league after he showed off his heavily damaged feet that was caused by cryotherapy. Then to add to the drama, he threatened to retire if he wasn’t allowed to use a special helmet that he had been using since he came into the league.
Not only that, the Raiders also got into a huge brawl with the Los Angeles Rams last week that should also be featured on the show.
If any of that drama is going to be in tonight’s show, HBO certainly didn’t put it in the preview.
Instead of all the drama, it was just head coach Jon Gruden speaking about Sean McVay starting his NFL career as a wide receivers coach for the Buccaneers when he was the head coach over the franchise at that time. McVay would soon take his talents to the Washington Redskins until he ultimately got signed on as head coach of the Rams in 2017.
A Super Bowl appearance would soon follow.
