There are some really experienced bettors around the United States who could only wish to be this lucky when placing bets as the next guy we’re about to talk about.
It is unlikely that anybody thought Super Bowl LIII would be 3-0 at half, much less be the lowest scoring Super Bowl in history. One guy apparently saw something coming, because he walked into a casino and placed a 2-team parlay bet with a measly $2.00 for two of the most unlikeliest scenarios to happen.
One was to have 0 touchdowns in the first half, which happened. The next was to predict that Tom Brady would toss an interception on his first pass play of the game, which also happened.
That $2 bet netted him $1,131.58.
Although that bettor is ecstatic right now, I’m sure he’s thinking if he had bet just $20 or $40, he’d be balling out of control right now.
