It has been a busy day for the Cleveland Browns as they finally announced that running backs coach turned offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens would be getting the ultimate promotion to head coach of the team.
Gregg Williams, who stepped in the interim head coach position when Hue Jackson was fired, was fired by the team some time later, but he wasn’t bitter about it.
He had a touching message for the city upon his departure.
Williams isn’t expected to be out of job too long, seeing as how he was a big part of why the Browns played so damn good down the stretch and were in playoff contention late into December.
