Greg Olsen is sick and tired of tight end’s being undervalued and disrespected.
The retired former player recently appeared on Pardon My Take and spoke out against tight end’s getting paid so little, yet having to do the same job as left tackle’s and run routes against the same people that WR’s have to run against, but getting paid so little in the process.
“We have to do the same shit that $15M left tackle has to do and run the same routes against the same guy that $15M wide receiver has to run routes against. And they’re gonna pay us $7M.”
Atlanta Falcons running back Mike Davis jumped in the comments to say: “I means RBs do a lot and they don’t wanna pay us at all”
Back in January, Olsen announced his retirement after 14 seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears (2007-2010), Carolina Panthers (2011-2019) and Seattle Seahawks (2020).
