The Green Bay Packers legendary quarterback was the face of the franchise for years and easily one of the best quarterbacks in league history.
On Monday, the Green Bay Press-Gazette decided to honor the hall of fame quarterback with a heartfelt tribute on the cover of their paper.
Starr was drafted 200th overall in the 17th round of the 1956 draft by the Packers. On his list of accomplishments, Starr has five NFL Championships as well as the first two Super Bowls victories in the National football League.

He went 94-57-6 as a starter, racking up 24,718 passing yards with 152 passing touchdowns and 138 interceptions by the time his career ended in 1971.
