Rookie linebacker Quay Walker found himself ending his season a bit early during Sunday night’s game against the Detroit Lions.
Walker was penalized in the fourth quarter after he pushed a member of the Lions training staff who was trying to tend to running back D’Andre Swift. Walker was ejected from the game.
On Monday morning, Walker took to Twitter to apologize for his actions.
“I want to apologize publicly about what happened Sunday night. I reacted off of my emotions again and take full responsibility of making another stupid decision. Since then I’ve questioned myself on why did I do what I did when the trainer was doing his job!! I was wrong!! I understand I have to face everything that comes with the decision I’ve made and I’m definitely paying for it now.”

Walker has a bit of history not keeping his hands to himself as he shoved a Bills coach on the sidelines earlier this year.
Walker had put together a great season with the Packers in his rookie year. Coming into the game against the Lions, he recorded 114 tackles with 1.5 sacks, five tackles for a loss, four QB hits and a fumble recovery.
Unfortunately, he ended it on a sour note.
