Two big dominos have fallen in the quarterback world when Aaron Rodgers announced he would be heading back to the Packers and Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos.
That leaves another big name in Deshaun Watson out there, but he still has legal issues over his head.
Several of the women who filed sexual misconduct complaints against Deshaun Watson last year will reportedly have their claims heard by a grand jury on Friday. Ten women filed criminal complaints against Watson, according to the New York Times.
The grand jury will decide if Watson will face criminal charges.
Watson also is scheduled to testify on Friday in the civil cases filed by plaintiffs who did not file criminal complaints against Watson. Watson’s lawyer Rusty Hardin told the Times he is hopeful the grand jury will decide in favor of his client on Friday.
“The free agency time is around the corner and we’ve wanted this decision to be made by then and it looks like they’re going to and I’m welcoming it,” Hardin said.

“There’s never been any crime here, no matter if you call it indecent assault or anything else,” he said. “These are civil matters that belong in the civil courts.”
Hardin told the Times that Watson will invoke the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination when testifying at a deposition convened by Buzbee.
