Week four was a nice week for wide receivers as they hauled in some great touchdowns against opposing defenses, whether their teams won or lost games.
However, a good number of wide receivers didn’t have productive afternoons as they were silenced by the other offensive talents on their respective rosters. Either way, the 2024 season is still young, and there’s a lot more football to be played.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ wide receivers after week four.
Who are the top wide receivers in the NFL after week 4 of games?
Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr.: C
Even though the Cardinals lost a tough 14-42 battle against the Washington Commanders, Marvin Harrison Jr. continues to be a sign of hope for the Red Birds. Harrison Jr. caught five receptions for 45 yards and scored a touchdown. Harrison Jr. and Kyler Murray continue to be a great offensive duo despite the painful loss. Harrison Jr. and the Cardinals need to earn more wins as they hit the road and square off against the San Francisco 49ers in week five.
Atlanta Falcons: Drake London: C+
Despite not scoring a single touchdown, London had a good afternoon in the Falcons’ very close 26-24 win over the New Orleans Saints. As one of the most underrated wide receivers in the game, London caught six receptions for 64 yards on the day. It would’ve been better if London scored a touchdown, but he’ll eventually score another touchdown as the season progresses.

Baltimore Ravens: Rashod Bateman: D
Even though the Ravens’ offense continues to shine with Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson leading the way in the backfield, the passing game continues to struggle as Rashod Bateman had a tough night. Bateman caught one reception for 23 yards all game. Dual-threat running back Justice Hill led the team in receiving yards as he had 78 receiving yards and scored a touchdown. The Ravens’ passing game needs to improve and get Bateman and the rest of the receiving core involved in key games.
Buffalo Bills: Khalil Shakir: C
The Bills may have lost a tough primetime game to the Baltimore Ravens in a final score of 10-35 as Shakir continued to be a vocal point for the Bills’ offense. Shakir caught four receptions for 62 yards on the night. It would’ve been very nice to see Shakir score a touchdown on the night, but he will eventually score another touchdown, as the season continues.
Carolina Panthers: Diontae Johnson: B
Johnson had a very nice game for the Panthers, even though they lost 24-34 to the Cincinnati Bengals. Johnson caught seven receptions for 83 yards and scored a touchdown in the afternoon. Johnson, Chubba Hubbard and Andy Dalton are forming a great offensive trio for the Panthers as they try to turn things around.
Chicago Bears: DJ Moore: C-
Despite the Bears’ 24-18 win over the Los Angeles Rams, DJ Moore had a somewhat quiet afternoon in the victory. Moore caught three receptions for 22 yards and scored a touchdown in the victory. It would’ve been nice to see Moore with more receiving yards, but during the first half of the game, Moore showed his frustration on the sidelines as he sat by himself and was the last one in the locker room by halftime. As one of the offensive leaders, Moore needs to help Williams improve as a signal caller and form a bond with him if they want to win more games.
Cincinnati Bengals: Ja’Marr Chase: A-
Chase had a very productive afternoon as he and the Bengals earned their first win of the 2024 season in a 34-24 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Chase caught three receptions for 85 yards and scored a 63-yard touchdown. Chase continues to show why he’s one of the best active wide receivers in the league, with a very dominating performance in the Bengals’ first win of the season. He hopes to continue building on that win moving forward.
Cleveland Browns: Jerry Jeudy: C+
Even though the Browns came up empty-handed in their 16-20 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Jerry Jeudy had a nice day in the passing attack for the Browns. Jeudy caught six receptions for 72 yards. Jeudy is continuing to show a nice change of scenery was all he needed to have a very productive season. If only Jeudy could haul in more touchdowns moving forward in the season. So far, he has only scored one touchdown, which was back in week one.
Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb: B+
CeeDee Lamb had a very nice game in the Cowboys’ 20-15 victory over the New York Giants. Lamb caught seven receptions for 98 yards and scored a touchdown on the night. Lamb also rushed for eight yards on three carries as he and the Cowboys got the job done on the road in their week four victory. Lamb said to the press he looks forward to squaring off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Cowboys’ week five matchup.
Denver Broncos: Courtland Sutton: B-
The Broncos may not have played the best game to earn their 10-9 over the New York Jets even though Courtland Sutton shined. Sutton caught three receptions for 60 yards and scored the only touchdown in the game. It was not the best day for the Broncos offense, but Bo Nix got to throw Sutton a nice touchdown pass to help the team earn their second win of the season.
Detroit Lions: Jameson Williams: A-
Williams had a great night as he and the Lions defeated the Seattle Seahawks in an intense 42-29 shootout. Williams caught two receptions for 80 yards and scored a 70-yard touchdown in the third quarter. It was an awesome night for Williams and the Lions as they won an all-time classic football game.
Green Bay Packers: Jayden Reed: A
Even though the Packers’ comeback attempt failed, Jayden Reed had an excellent game. Reed caught seven receptions for 139 yards and scored a touchdown. An excellent game for Reed nonetheless, but it would’ve been even better if the Packers managed to come from behind and defeat their NFC North rivals before their week five road trip to Hollywood for a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
Houston Texans: Nico Collins: A
Nico Collins had an amazing game for the Texans as they rebounded from their week three loss to the Minnesota Vikings and won 24-20 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Collins caught 12 receptions for 151 yards and scored a touchdown. Collins’ performance was outstanding, and if he continues to perform like this, Collins could get his first Pro Bowl nod.
Indianapolis Colts: Michael Pittman Jr.: B
Pittman Jr. emerged out of the shadows and had a great game for the Colts as they won 27-24 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittman Jr. caught six receptions for 113 yards but didn’t score any touchdowns. His teammates, Josh Downs and Drew Ogletree, both scored touchdowns in the victory. Pittman Jr. needs to have more receptions like this and at least score a key touchdown as the season continues onward. Hopefully, Pittman Jr. can score that elusive first touchdown of the 2024 season, whether it’s Flacco throwing him the ball or Richardson when he returns from his hip injury.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Christian Kirk: C+
Even though the Jaguars lost a heartbreaking 20-24 game to the Houston Texans, Christian Kirk had a good game. Kirk caught seven receptions for 61 yards and scored a touchdown. Kirk did whatever he could to help the Jaguars out, even though they’re currently 0-4 and in a very tough position if they want to stay relevant in the AFC South.
Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Worthy: B
Worthy had a very nice afternoon for the Chiefs as they came from behind and defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 17-10. Worthy caught three receptions for 73 yards and scored a touchdown. Worthy and the company will need to step up after Rashee Rice suffered a knee injury (which is feared to be an ACL tear) from a bad collision with Patrick Mahomes. Worthy should be up for the challenge after what we saw him do in week one against the Baltimore Ravens.
Las Vegas Raiders: Jakobi Meyers: C-
Meyers had a fair afternoon in the Raiders 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns. Meyers caught five receptions for 49 yards on the day but didn’t score a touchdown. With the recent news about Davante Adams wanting a trade out of the Raiders, Meyers is going to need to step up if Adams is shipped out of Sin City.
Los Angeles Chargers: Ladd McConkey: B-
Even though the Chargers let a 10-0 lead slip away and lost 10-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs, Ladd McConkey had a nice afternoon. McConkey caught five receptions for 67 yards and scored the Chargers’ only touchdown of the game. McConkey played nicely and was able to haul in his first career touchdown in the league.
Los Angeles Rams: Tutu Atwell: B-
As the Rams lost a tough 18-24 battle to the Chicago Bears, Tutu Atwell had a nice game, even though the Rams are missing Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Atwell caught four receptions for 82 yards on the day. It would’ve been very nice to see Atwell score a touchdown for the Rams, but it’ll have to come another time, as the Rams get set to host the Green Bay Packers in week five.
Miami Dolphins: Jaylen Waddle: D-
Waddle and the Dolphins offense struggled in their humiliating 12-31 meltdown loss against the Tennessee Titans. Waddle caught four receptions for 36 yards on the night, and his longest reception was for 18 yards. Life without Tua Tagovailoa has greatly affected the Dolphins’ offense, but their wide receivers need to hit the reset button in practice this week before their week five matchup against the New England Patriots.
Minnesota Vikings: Justin Jefferson: A-
Jefferson had another amazing game as he and the Vikings narrowly won 31-29 against the Green Bay Packers. Jefferson caught six receptions for 85 yards and scored a touchdown. Jefferson continues to show that he’s one of the league’s best receivers as he dominates the opposing defense and finds his way to the end zone and victory. Now Jefferson and the Vikings have to get focused for their week five matchup across the pond, in London, against the New York Jets.
New England Patriots: DeMario Douglas: F
It was a very rough afternoon for Douglas and the Patriots’ offense as they were crushed 13-30 to the San Francisco 49ers. Douglas caught three receptions for 13 yards on the day. The Patriots’ offense needs to step up and find that offensive spark they had in week one when they return home and face off against the Miami Dolphins.
New Orleans Saints: Chris Olave: B-
Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed both topped over 80 yards despite not scoring any touchdowns and the Saints losing a very tough 24-26 battle against the Atlanta Falcons. Olave caught eight receptions for 87 yards. Olave played very well even though the Saints have to rebound and get prepared for their week five matchup on Monday Night Football against the Kanas City Chiefs.
New York Giants: Malik Nabers: B-
Despite a rough Thursday night for the Giants in their 15-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Malik Nabers put up a strong fight. Nabers caught 12 receptions for 115 yards before leaving the game with a concussion. With Nabers in concussion protocol for now, Daniel Jones is going to have to pass the ball to other receivers and tight ends on the roster.
New York Jets: Mike Williams: C-
Despite the Jets’ offense faltering flat, Mike Williams had a decent afternoon for the Jets. Williams caught four receptions for 67 yards on the afternoon. It would’ve been very nice if the Jets were able to score a touchdown in the game. However, the Jets’ wider receivers need to rebound as they get set for their week five matchup abroad, in London, against the Minnesota Vikings.
Philadelphia Eagles: Parris Campbell: D+
Campbell didn’t have much of a productive afternoon in the Eagles’ 16-33 foiled revenge loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Campbell caught four receptions for 17 yards and scored a touchdown. The Eagles are feeling the pain of not having both DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown on the field as they recover from their respective injuries. Luckily for the Eagles, they enter week five with a bye week.
Pittsburgh Steelers: George Pickens: B
Despite the Steelers’ failed comeback attempt in their 24-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Pickens had a very productive game for the Black and Yellow. Pickens caught seven receptions for 113 yards in the afternoon. However, Pickens didn’t score any touchdowns in the game. Pickens and the Steelers will rebound as they get set to host the Dallas Cowboys in a week five primetime showdown on Sunday Night Football.
San Francisco 49ers: Jauan Jennings: B-
Jennings had a nice afternoon even though he didn’t score a touchdown in the 49ers’ 30-13 win over the New England Patriots. Jennings caught three receptions for 88 yards. It would’ve been very nice to see Jennings score a touchdown in the win. He will eventually score more touchdowns as the season continues.
Seattle Seahawks: DK Metcalf: B-
DK Metcalf had a great game on Monday Night Football, even though the Seahawks lost 29-42 to the Detroit Lions. Metcalf caught seven receptions for 104 yards on the night but didn’t score a touchdown. Metcalf’s teammate AJ Barner scored the team’s only receiving touchdown on the night, while Kenneth Walker III scored three rushing touchdowns. Metcalf and the Seahawks should bounce back as they get prepared for their week five matchup against the New York Giants.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mike Evans: A-
Evans had a very triumphant game as he and the Bucs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 33-16. One of the NFL’s famed wide receivers caught eight receptions for 94 yards and scored a touchdown. It was very nice to see Evans have a strong game and help the Bucs secure a rebound win after losing in week three against the Denver Broncos. Now Evans and the Bucs have to get prepared for their week five matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Tennessee Titans: DeAndre Hopkins: D-
It was a very quiet night for DeAndre Hopkins, even though the Titans earned their first win of the season in a 31-12 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Hopkins caught two receptions for 31 yards on the night, while his teammate Tyler Boyd also caught two receptions for 31 yards. Hopkins and the Titans’ offense needs to step up if they want to earn more wins after they return to action from their week five bye week.
Washington Commanders: Terry McLaurin: B
McLaurin and the Commanders had an impressive afternoon as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals 42-14. McLaurin caught seven receptions for 52 yards and scored a touchdown. McLaurin continues to be Jayden Daniels’ favorite target, as their offensive chemistry is starting to shine and should strike fear in opposing defenses moving forward.
