In week six, we saw some very exciting quarterback play from some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
They continue to show us they want to win it all with outstanding performances in front of their home crowds or as road warriors against challenging opponents.
Some quarterbacks continue to struggle, but they may have time to fix things before the NFL season concludes. Regardless, week six was a great Sunday for NFL quarterbacks.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ quarterbacks after week six.
Which NFL Quarterbacks have the highest grades after week 6 of games?
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray: C+
Murray had an average afternoon, but the Cardinals ended up losing to the Green Bay Packers in a painful 13-34 loss. Murray completed 22 passes for 214 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Michael Wilson, rushed for 14 yards on seven carries, and wasn’t sacked at all but lost a fumble. Despite Murray’s efforts, the rest of the Cardinals’ offense looked unprepared and fell flat against a formidable opponent.
Atlanta Falcons: Kirk Cousins: A-

Cousins played a very nice game for the Falcons on the road, as they won 38-20 against the Carolina Panthers. Cousins completed 19 passes for 225 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Drake London against no interceptions, rushed for negative five yards on four carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. Cousins played nicely for the Falcons and commanded a great offense in the team’s victory, as they maintain control of the NFC South for now.
Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson: B+
Lamar Jackson had a very nice afternoon as he and the Ravens defeated the Washington Commanders 30-23. Jackson completed 20 passes for 323 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Mark Andrews against an interception, and rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries but was sacked twice. Despite throwing a lone interception in the first quarter, Jackson was able to regroup quickly and led the Ravens to an impressive win at home against the Commanders in the Beltway Bowl.
Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen: A-
Josh Allen truly put the Bills on his back as he led the team to a very intense 23-20 victory over the New York Jets in a wild and memorable AFC East showdown on Monday Night Football. Allen completed 19 passes for 215 yards, threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, rushed for 18 yards on nine carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked twice. Allen played an incredible game, showing why he’s a strong MVP candidate so far this season. Hopefully, Allen and company can build on this win as the Bills return home for a week seven showdown against the Tennessee Titans.
Carolina Panthers: Andy Dalton: C-
Despite the Panthers’ struggles in their 20-38 loss at home against the Atlanta Falcons, Dalton played all right. Dalton completed 26 passes for 221 yards, threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, rushed for 21 yards on three carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. Dalton continues to show significant promise for the Panthers despite the team dropping another game.
Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams: A-
Williams has emerged as a star, as he and the Bears dominated the Jacksonville Jaguars in their 35-16 win abroad, in London. Williams completed 23 passes for 226 yards, threw four touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for 56 yards on four carries but was sacked three times. If Williams continues to shine for the Bears, with performances like this, he can potentially win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow: C
Burrow didn’t play his best game, but he did lead the Bengals to a 17-7 victory on the road against the New York Giants. Burrow completed 19 passes for 208 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 55 yards on four carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked four times. It was not a pretty performance, even as Burrow kept his cool and composure during the Bengals’ second victory of the season. Burrow and company travel back to Ohio for a week seven road matchup against their instate divisional rivals, the Cleveland Browns.

Cleveland Browns: Deshaun Watson: F
Watson played an awful game, as he and the Cleveland Browns lost a painful 16-20 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles. Watson completed 16 passes for 168 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 17 yards on four carries, and was sacked five times. The more Watson struggles, the more countless NFL fans want to see him benched or released in favor of Jameis Winston. However, head coach Kevin Stefanski told the press he won’t make a quarterback change, even after Watson’s embarrassing performance on the road.
Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott: F
Prescott played an awful game at home, as the Cowboys were humiliated in their 9-47 loss against the Detroit Lions. The well-known NFL quarterback completed 17 passes for 178 yards, threw two interceptions against no touchdowns, rushed for a yard on a carry, and was sacked four times. It was a very brutal afternoon for Prescott and the Cowboys as they enter their week seven bye week, looking to regroup and rest before their week eight matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
Denver Broncos: Bo Nix: C
Nix struggled to begin the game but put together a decent comeback attempt despite coming up short in the Broncos’ 16-23 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. Nix completed 19 passes for 216 yards, threw two touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for 61 yards on six carries. Despite the comeback attempt in the fourth quarter, Nix must break the invisible handcuffs from head coach Sean Payton and rely on his strengths to win games moving forward.
Detroit Lions: Jared Goff: A-
Goff had another phenomenal game, as he led the Lions to a statement 47-9 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Goff completed 18 passes for 315 yards, threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for five yards on three carries but was sacked twice. Goff continued to show his excellence in the Lions’ dominating victory as the team now prepares for their first divisional matchup on the road against the Minnesota Vikings in week seven.
Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love: A-
Jordan Love had a great afternoon at home as the Packers defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-13. Love completed 22 passes for 258 yards, threw four touchdowns against an interception, rushed for 13 yards on five carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. A great performance for Love despite throwing an interception as he and the Packers continue to play strong against their opponents.
Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud: A-
C.J. Stroud played a very good game on the road, as the Texans defeated the New England Patriots 41-21. Stroud completed 20 passes for 192 yards, threw three touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for seven yards on three carries but was sacked twice. Stroud looked good as he led a very diverse offense to victory in Foxborough, MA. Stroud and company will hit the road and get prepared for their week seven matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Indianapolis Colts: Joe Flacco: B
Flacco continued to impress as he helped carry the Indianapolis Colts to a 20-17 win over the Tennessee Titans. Flacco completed 22 passes for 189 yards, threw two touchdowns against an interception, rushed for a yard on a carry, and wasn’t sacked at all. Flacco continued to show his veteran resilience as he helped carry the Colts to a nice divisional victory on the road.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence: C-
Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars had an afternoon they would like to forget about, as their hopes and dreams were crushed by the Chicago Bears 16-35. Lawrence completed 23 passes for 234 yards, threw two touchdowns against one interception, and rushed for 17 yards on four carries but was sacked three times. Lawrence played a decent game, but his efforts weren’t enough against the fierce Bears’ defense, which is ranked seventh in the league, courtesy of Fox Sports.
Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes: Bye Week
Patrick Mahomes is playing a great season, not an MVP-like season, but still a great season nonetheless as he and the Chiefs are getting prepared for their week seven matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on the road in a Super Bowl 58 rematch.
Las Vegas Raiders: Aidan O’Connell: C-
Despite everything Aidan O’Connell was able to do, he and the Raiders fell flat, as they lost 13-32 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. O’Connell completed 27 passes for 227 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Kristian Wilkerson against an interception, and was sacked once. O’Connell has shown that he can be a decent NFL quarterback at best, but the Raiders were also without Davante Adams (Who could be traded at any moment) and Jakobi Meyers, who had some ankle issues days before the game. Hopefully, O’Connell can right the ship and turn things around for the Silver and Black.
Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert: C+
Justin Herbert played a good game, as he and the Chargers earned a nice 23-16 win over the Denver Broncos. Herbert completed 21 passes for 237 yards, threw a touchdown to Kimani Vidal against no interceptions, and rushed for two yards on four carries but was sacked three times. Herbert and the passing attack found some success once Patrick Surtain II left the game with a concussion, as the Bolts didn’t look back on their nice victory on the road.
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford: Bye Week
Stafford and the Rams have had a painful season due to injuries affecting key receivers and offensive linemen. Stafford can only do so much for the team, as the Rams need help. Luckily, Cooper Kupp had a good workout, per Ian Rapaport, which is a good sign for Stafford and company.
Miami Dolphins: Tyler Huntley: Bye Week
Huntley is a good running quarterback and managed to play well for the Baltimore Ravens when he was on that roster. However, he needs to learn the Dolphins’ schemes quickly as they get set for a week seven road trip against the Indianapolis Colts.
Minnesota Vikings: Sam Darnold: Bye Week
Darnold has had a phenomenal 2024 season so far, as he looks like he can potentially win the Comeback Player of the Year award, depending on how the rest of the season turns out. However, Darnold and the Vikings will be tested as they get set to welcome the Detroit Lions to town for a week seven divisional showdown.
New England Patriots: Drake Maye: B-
Despite the Patriots losing a very tough 21-41 battle against the Houston Texans at home, Drake Maye showed promise as the team’s main NFL quarterback moving forward. Maye completed 20 passes for 243 yards, threw three touchdowns against two interceptions, and rushed for 38 yards on five carries but was sacked four times. Maye played well, but the Patriots’ rushing attack and offensive line struggled for the majority of the game. Maye should continue improving as the Patriots travel to London for their week seven matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
New Orleans Saints: Spencer Rattler: C-
Rattler showed some promise for the Saints despite the team getting trounced 27-51 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rattler completed 22 passes for 243 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Bub Means against an interception, and rushed for 27 yards on four carries but was sacked five times. Rattler played well but still has some learning to do, as he was pressured throughout the game. He needs to get the offense going in the second half if the Saints want to win more games for the remainder of the season.
New York Giants: Daniel Jones: D
Daniel Jones once again struggled in primetime as the Giants fell flat in their embarrassing 7-17 loss at home against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals. Jones completed 22 passes for 205 yards, threw an interception against no touchdowns, and rushed for 56 yards on 11 carries but was sacked twice. Jones is now officially 1-15 in primetime games. The Giants need to regroup and get prepared for their week seven matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles coming to town.
New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers: B-
Rodgers played a very nice game despite the Jets losing a very close and nail-biting 20-23 battle against the Buffalo Bills. Rodgers completed 23 passes for 294 yards and threw two crazy touchdowns against a painful game-ending interception with minutes to go, but was sacked three times. Rodgers still has his Hail Mary heroics in him, but he missed a couple of golden opportunities to score and potentially get a couple of first downs. Rodgers and company will rebound from this painful loss as they get set for a very tough week seven test on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts: A-
Hurts returned to action after the Eagles’ week five bye week and led the team to a very nice 20-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Hurts completed 16 passes for 264 yards, threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for 33 yards on 14 carries but was sacked once. Hurts played well and reconnected with both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, who returned to action after dealing with injuries. Hopefully, Hurts can help the Eagles build upon their week six win moving forward.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Justin Fields: B
Justin Fields had a good afternoon as he helped the Steelers earn a very nice 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Fields completed 14 passes for 145 yards, threw no touchdown passes or interceptions, rushed for 59 yards on 11 carries, and scored two rushing touchdowns but was sacked three times. Fields continues to show the league he is a great runner and can score rushing touchdowns, even without throwing a single touchdown pass to his receivers and tight ends. Although, it would’ve been very nice to see the Steelers’ passing attack do more in their victory over the Silver and Black.
San Francisco 49ers: Brock Purdy: A
Brock Purdy had a very nice game on the road in the 49ers’ 36-24 victory over their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. Purdy completed 18 passes for 255 yards, threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, rushed for 19 yards on four carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. If Purdy continues to play like this, he can potentially lead the 49ers to greatness this season and potentially earn another shot at the Super Bowl, depending on how the team finishes the regular season.
Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith: D+
Geno Smith had a rough Thursday night at home as the Seahawks lost to the San Francisco 49ers 24-36. Smith completed 30 passes for 312 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett against two interceptions, and was sacked once. Despite Smith’s efforts, he and the Seahawks had a slow start to the game and need to regain their offensive groove quickly. Otherwise, they’ll continue to fall behind in a very competitive NFC West.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield: B
Baker Mayfield had a great game on the road, as the Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints 51-27. Mayfield completed 24 passes for 325 yards, threw four touchdowns against three interceptions, and rushed for 29 yards on three carries but was sacked once. Mayfield played well but needs to protect the ball and avoid throwing nearly costly interceptions, as the team was nearly thrown off of their game despite the strong second half for the Bucs’ offense.
Tennessee Titans: Will Levis: D
Levis’s struggles continued as the Titans fell to the Indianapolis Colts 17-20. Levis completed 16 passes for 95 yards, threw a touchdown to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine against an interception, rushed for 15 yards on three carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. If Levis continues to struggle in key games, head coach Brian Callahan may need to bench him for backup Mason Rudolph moving forward.
Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels: A-
Despite putting up a great performance on the road, Jayden Daniels and the Commanders couldn’t get the job done in the team’s 23-30 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Daniels completed 24 passes for 269 yards, threw two touchdown passes to Terry McLaurin against no interceptions, and rushed for 22 yards on six carries but was sacked three times. A great performance by Daniels despite the tough loss, as he and the Commanders return home for their week seven showdown against the Carolina Panthers.
