Week 14 was a great week for quarterbacks as the league’s best signal callers led their respective NFL teams to some incredible victories at home or on the road, whether they were in blowout fashion or just plain old very close and competitive neck-and-neck battles. Other quarterbacks struggled for most of the week and dealt with injuries or offensive struggles around them.
There is very little time left before the 2024 season comes to a close for certain signal callers to turn things around. With four more weeks to go in the 2024 NFL regular season, it’s going to be thrilling to see which quarterbacks can lead their teams to the playoffs and potentially a run for the Super Bowl.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ quarterbacks after week 14.
Which NFL quarterbacks have the highest grades after week 14?
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray: C
Murray played an okay game for the Cardinals, even though he could’ve played better in the team’s 18-30 loss against the Seattle Seahawks. Murray completed 25 passes for 259 yards, threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, and rushed for 16 yards on three carries but was sacked twice.
Murray continued to throw costly interceptions, as both of his picks led to the Seahawks’ offense scoring two touchdowns. However, Murray was able to bounce back with more improved play in the second half of the game.
Atlanta Falcons: Kirk Cousins: D

Cousins had a rough afternoon in his return to the Land of 10,000 Lakes, as the Falcons lost 21-42 against the Minnesota Vikings. Cousins completed 23 passes for 344 yards, threw two interceptions against no touchdown passes, and was sacked once. Cousins may have played slightly better than in week 13, but his struggles cannot be ignored.
Head coach Raheem Morris said Cousins is the this NFL team’s starting quarterback after his rough performance against the Vikings rather than bench him for rookie Michael Penix Jr. The Falcons travel to Sin City for a Monday night showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson: Bye Week
Jackson has played an incredible 2024 NFL season so far, as he and the rest of the Ravens team have had their fair share of ups and downs. Jackson needs to continue playing at an elite level for the remainder of the season, depending on if the Ravens can secure a playoff spot and make a potential playoff run.
Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen: A+
Josh Allen played an incredible game for the Bills, even though the team lost 42-44 in an intense offensive thriller against the Los Angeles Rams. Allen completed 22 passes for 342 yards, threw three touchdowns with no interceptions, rushed for 82 yards on 10 carries, scored three rushing touchdowns, and wasn’t sacked at all.
Despite the loss due to the Bills running a failed onside kick in the last minute of the game, Allen continued building his case for why he should potentially win the AP NFL MVP this season, with one of the best regular season performances from any quarterback.
Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young: C+
Young played well for the Panthers, even though the team lost a very close and competitive 16-22 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles. Young completed 19 passes for 191 yards, threw a touchdown to Tommy Tremble against an interception, and rushed for 29 yards on seven carries but was sacked once.
Young continued to look poised and confident for the Panthers, but he would’ve been a hero for the team if his pass to Xavier Legette wasn’t an incompletion in the fourth quarter. Young and the Panthers return home for a week 15 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys coming to town.
Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams: C
Williams played fairly well for the Bears, even though they lost 13-38 against the San Francisco 49ers. Williams completed 17 passes for 134 yards, threw two touchdowns to Rome Odunze with no interceptions, and rushed for 27 yards on four carries but was sacked a whopping seven times.
Williams did show some resilience by not throwing an interception and threw two key touchdowns to Odunze in the second half, but the 49ers’ defense sacked him seven times throughout the game. Williams and the Bears travel to the Land of 10,000 Lakes for a week 15 showdown against the Minnesota Vikings.
Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow: A-
Burrow played great for the Bengals in their 27-20 shootout win over the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Burrow completed 33 passes for 369 yards, threw three touchdowns against one interception, and rushed for negative two yards on two carries but was sacked twice. The star quarterback continued to look like an NFL MVP candidate as he helped the Bengals keep their playoff aspirations alive… for now.

Cleveland Browns: Jameis Winston: C-
Winston played an average game for the Browns in their 14-27 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Winston completed 24 passes for 212 yards, threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, and rushed for 28 yards on four carries but was sacked three times.
Winston started the game hot with a touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy but struggled afterward as the Steelers’ defense was too much for Winston this time around. Winston and the Browns return home for a week 15 showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs coming to town.
Dallas Cowboys: Cooper Rush: C
Rush played okay for the Cowboys in their neck-and-neck battle against the Cincinnati Bengals, but Rush and the Cowboys lost 20-27. Rush completed 16 passes for 183 yards, threw two touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for vie yards on two carries, but was sacked three times.
Rush has been playing alright, while Dak Prescott is recovering from his hamstring surgery. Rush and the Cowboys travel to the Tar Heel State for a matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Denver Broncos: Bo Nix: Bye Week
Nix has been playing great football recently, as he continued to look more comfortable against opposing defenses and has formed great on-field chemistry with Marvin Mims Jr. and Courtland Sutton in the passing attack. Nix and the Broncos return to action in week 15, when they get set to host the Indianapolis Colts.
Detroit Lions: Jared Goff: A-
Goff played a great battle against the Green Bay Packers, as he helped the Lions win 34-31 in last-second fashion. The star NFL quarterback completed 32 passes for 283 yards, threw three touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for seven yards on four carries but was sacked once. Goff’s performance also helped the Lions secure their spot in the 2024-25 playoffs, as he continues to be a great on-field leader in the intense divisional showdown.
Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love: B+
Love played a great game against the Packers’ NFC North rivals, the Detroit Lions, but Love and the Packers lost 31-34 in last-second fashion. Love completed 12 passes for 206 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Tucker Kraft with no interceptions, and rushed for 23 yards on four carries but was sacked once.
Love played very well and showed excellent on-field chemistry with both Kraft and Christian Watson (who had 114 receiving yards in the game) despite the loss. Love and the Packers travel to the Pacific Northwest for a showdown against the Seattle Seahawks.
Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud: Bye Week
Stroud has had an alright sophomore season. He’s had his ups and downs but can do just enough to help the Texans secure the necessary wins. Stroud and the Texans return to action in week 15 and will host the Miami Dolphins coming to town.
Indianapolis Colts: Anthony Richardson: Bye Week
Richardson has improved since he returned to action after being benched. However, he needs to improve his accuracy as a passer if the Colts want to make a push toward the 2024-25 playoffs.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Mac Jones: D
Jones could’ve played better for the Jaguars, but he managed a decent game and helped the team earn a very close 10-6 win over the Tennessee Titans. Jones completed 23 passes for 220 yards, threw two interceptions against no touchdown passes, and rushed for three yards on three carries but was sacked once.
Jones isn’t the best quarterback in the NFL, but he managed the Jaguars’ offense fairly well, as they punched their points in the fourth quarter of their win over the Titans.
Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes: B
Mahomes commanded a decent game for the Chiefs, as they narrowly won 19-17 against the Los Angeles Chargers in the most improbable way possible. Mahomes completed 24 passes for 210 yards, threw a touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins with no interceptions, and rushed for 17 yards on four carries but was sacked three times.
Mahomes wasn’t able to score a touchdown in the second half of the game, but he did enough to set kicker Matthew Wright up to kick two field goals in the second half, including the game-winning kick, which hit the left upright of the goal post and just barely made it through, winning the game for the Chiefs.
Las Vegas Raiders: Aidan O’Connell: D
O’Connell had a bit of a rough afternoon for the Silver and Black, losing 13-28 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. O’Connell completed 11 passes for 104 yards, threw an interception in the third quarter with no touchdown passes, rushed for six yards on six carries, and scored a rushing touchdown in the second quarter of the game.
O’Connell did leave the game with a knee injury, which was revealed to be a bruised knee bone. Meanwhile, Desmond Ridder took over and completed 12 passes for 101 yards and threw no touchdowns or interceptions. If O’Connell is out for a week or more, Ridder needs to be prepared to step up.
Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert: B
Herbert played a fair game against the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately, Herbert and the Chargers lost 17-19 in the most improbable way possible.
Herbert completed 21 passes for 213 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Quentin Johnston with no interceptions, and rushed for 12 yards on four carries but was sacked three times. Herbert played a very similar game to star NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes statistically but wasn’t able to help the Bolts get the win in the end.
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford: A-
Stafford played a great game for the Rams in their 44-42 neck-and-neck win over a very competitive Buffalo Bills team. Stafford completed 23 passes for 320 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, and wasn’t sacked at all. Stafford and the Rams had an incredible offensive performance against the Bills’ defense as they continued their quest for a playoff spot against the league’s best competitors.
Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa: A-
Tagovailoa played a great game against the New York Jets and helped the Dolphins win 32-26 in overtime. Tagovailoa completed 33 passes for 331 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, rushed for three yards on a carry, and wasn’t sacked at all.
Tagovailoa looked like a true leader, ready for battle against the enemy, and emerged victorious with his 10-yard touchdown pass to Jonnu Smith on a 70-yard drive in overtime. Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ playoff hopes also remain alive as the 2024 regular season continues to wind down.
Minnesota Vikings: Sam Darnold: A-
Darnold played an outstanding game for the Vikings in their 42-21 dominating win over the Atlanta Falcons. Darnold completed 22 passes for 347 yards, threw five touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for seven yards on four carries but was sacked four times. With Darnold’s amazing performance, he officially has the most games with 100 or more passer ratings in the Vikings’ history.
Many quarterback-needy teams will be very interested in signing Darnold for the 2025 NFL season, as he’s set to become a free agent, but the Vikings should find a way to potentially keep him on the roster in the 2025 season and more.
New England Patriots: Drake Maye: Bye Week
Maye has been a bright spot the Patriots need for their long and painful 2024 season. When the 2025 offseason begins, the Pats need to supply Maye with more talented wide receivers and running backs and a much stronger offensive line around him, which, of course, is easier said than done. The rookie quarterback and the Patriots have to get through their final four weeks of the 2024 regular season first and see what high draft pick they’ll earn for the 2025 NFL Draft.
New Orleans Saints: Derek Carr: C
Carr played alright for the Saints, as they narrowly won 14-11 against the woeful New York Giants. Carr completed 20 passes for 219 yards, threw a touchdown to Juwan Johnson against an interception, and rushed for 12 yards on two carries but was sacked once. Carr didn’t look that good, but he managed to help the team secure a well-needed victory.
However, Carr left the game with a left-hand injury, which is feared to be fractured. If Carr is out for the remainder of the 2024 season, Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener will need to step up.
New York Giants: Drew Lock: D-
Lock had a brutal afternoon for the Giants in their very close and heartbreaking 11-14 loss against the New Orleans Saints at home. Lock completed 21 passes for 227 yards, threw an interception with no touchdown passes and rushed for 59 yards on five carries but was sacked twice.
Lock didn’t get much help from his offensive line or receivers outside of Malik Nabers in the painful game. However, there are only four more weeks to go in the regular season, as the Giants will look for a fresh start in the 2025 regular season.
New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers: B-
Rodgers had a good game for the Jets, but he and Gang Green didn’t have possession of the ball in overtime and lost 26-32 against the Miami Dolphins. Rodgers completed 27 passes for 339 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Davante Adams in the third quarter with no interceptions, and was sacked three times.
As good as Rodgers and Adams were against the Dolphins, the Dolphins made more plays and maintained control of the ball throughout the entire overtime period and won out.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts: A-
Hurts may not have thrown for over 200 yards, but he was very effective on the ground and managed to make some good passes happen in the team’s 22-16 competitive win over the Carolina Panthers. Hurts completed 14 passes for 108 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, rushed for 59 yards on eight carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked four times.
Hurts faced significant pressure from the Panthers’ defense despite having a good performance in the game. Hurts and the Eagles will remain home in week 15 and will welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to town.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Russell Wilson: B+
Wilson played a very good game for the Steelers in their 27-14 win over the Cleveland Browns. Wilson completed 15 passes for 158 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for 17 yards on six carries but was sacked once.
The veteran NFL quarterback may not have thrown for over 200 yards, but he was able to connect with his receivers and tight ends, even without George Pickens (who was out due to a hamstring injury). Wilson and the Steelers travel to eastern Pennsylvania for a week 15 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
San Francisco 49ers: Brock Purdy: A-
Purdy played a very nice game for the 49ers in the team’s 38-13 win over the Chicago Bears, snapping their three-game losing streak. Purdy completed 20 passes for 325 yards, threw two touchdowns to Jauan Jennings with no interceptions, and rushed for 11 yards on five carries but was sacked once.
Purdy played very well under the California sun as opposed to playing through a snowstorm hitting Western New York in week 13. Purdy and the 49ers remain home in week 15 and will welcome the Los Angeles Rams to town.
Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith: A-
Smith played a very nice game for the Seahawks, helping the team win 30-18 against the Arizona Cardinals. Smith completed 24 passes for 233 yards, threw a touchdown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba with no interceptions, rushed for no yardage on a carry, and wasn’t sacked at all.
Smith may have thrown for under 240 yards, but he and the Seahawks are doing everything they can to focus more on the rushing attack. Smith did a great job commanding the Seahawks’ offense to a very nice victory over their NFC West foes.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield: C+
Mayfield played a good game for the Bucs, despite some mistakes, helping the team win 28-13 over the woeful Las Vegas Raiders. Mayfield completed 18 passes for 295 yards, threw three touchdowns against two interceptions, and rushed for 12 yards on two carries but was sacked four times.
Mayfield needs to improve on ball security, as he threw two interceptions in the first half but made up for it in the second half by leading the Bucs to two touchdown drives in the fourth quarter.
Tennessee Titans: Will Levis: C
Levis played okay against the Jacksonville Jaguars and had a couple of opportunities to win, but he and the Titans weren’t able to pull it out in their 6-10 loss. Levis completed 19 passes for 168 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, and rushed for three yards on a carry but was sacked twice.
Levis almost became a hero in Nashville, as he threw a pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine with 1:15 left in the game, but Westbrook-Ikhine wasn’t able to haul in the pass, which would’ve been a touchdown with 1:11 left on the clock. Levis managed to show improvements in ball security and avoided throwing any interceptions.
Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels: Bye Week
Jayden Daniels’ 2024 season has been spectacular to watch so far, as he’s making the case to be an Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate. Daniels and the Commanders travel to the Big Easy for a showdown against the New Orleans Saints in week 15.
