Week 12 was a good week for quarterbacks, who helped lead their NFL teams to wins in very competitive trap games or a couple of blowout wins.
However, other quarterbacks struggled all game while others played well, even though their efforts weren’t enough to lift their respective teams to victory. It was a very exciting week of football, now officially in the books, and we can’t wait to see our favorite signal callers deliver more exciting moments in the coming weeks.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ quarterbacks after week 12.
Which NFL quarterbacks have the highest grades after week 12?
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray: F
Murray and the Cardinals had a very rough afternoon in the Pacific Northwest as they lost 6-16 against the Seattle Seahawks. Murray completed 24 passes for 285 yards, threw a costly interception against no touchdowns, and rushed for nine yards on two carries but was sacked five times. Murray and the Redbirds’ offense couldn’t get anything going, as the Seahawks’ defense immediately swarmed them all game long.
This made head coach Jonathan Gannon and offensive coordinator Drew Petzing’s best moves for the game feel immobilized as the offense couldn’t get anything going for the most part.
Atlanta Falcons: Kirk Cousins: Bye Week

Cousins has struggled recently, and he and the Falcons losing 6-38 against the Denver Broncos don’t help out matters either, as he hasn’t thrown a touchdown since week nine. If Cousins continues to struggle, it may be time for the Falcons to start Michael Penix Jr. moving forward. Cousins and the Falcons return home in week 13 and will host the Los Angeles Chargers.
Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson: A-
Jackson had another great game as he and the Ravens defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in a 30-23 victory. Jackson completed 16 passes for 177 yards, threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, rushed for 15 yards on eight carries, and scored a rushing touchdown. Even though Jackson didn’t throw for over 200 yards, he did lead a great offense on the field in an impressive victory on primetime.
Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen: Bye Week
Allen has had a great 2024 season so far, as he and the Bills are coming off an incredible upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen and the Bills continue their home stand as they get ready to host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young: B
Rookie NFL quarterback Bryce Young played well for the Panthers, as he kept the offense in it for most of the game despite losing 27-30 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Young completed 21 passes for 263 yards, threw a touchdown to David Moore against no interceptions, and rushed for 20 yards on three carries but was sacked twice. Despite Young’s struggles throughout the 2024 season, Young played a very good game against the Chiefs defense and kept his team afloat throughout the entire game.
Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams: A-
Williams played a very good game for the Bears for most of the game. Unfortunately, Williams and the Bears lost 27-30 in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings. Williams completed 32 passes for 340 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for 33 yards on six carries but was sacked six times.
Williams helped lead the Bears to overtime with his impressive performance, but the Vikings maintained possession of the ball in the overtime period and won, thanks to their kicker, John Parker Romo, making the game-winning field goal, giving the Bears another loss.
Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow: Bye Week
Even though the Chargers defeated the Bengals in week 11, Burrow played a good game with over 356 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Burrow needs to replicate that production for the Bengals in week 13 and be on the winning side as the team gets prepared to host the Pittsburgh Steelers coming to town.

Cleveland Browns: Jameis Winston: C
Winston played an okay game, as he led the Browns to a 24-19 upset victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Winston completed 18 passes for 219 yards, threw an interception against no touchdown passes, rushed for seven yards on three carries, and scored a touchdown, but was sacked once and lost a fumble. Winston’s leadership was able to help the Browns pull through and stun their AFC North rivals on a very frigid and snow-covered field.
Dallas Cowboys: Cooper Rush: B
Rush played a good game for the Cowboys, as they stunned the Washington Commanders 34-26. Rush completed 24 passes for 247 yards, threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for a yard on four carries but was sacked once. It was a nice first win for the backup signal caller, as he did everything he could, including keeping the Cowboys’ season alive, in the team’s stunning victory.
Denver Broncos: Bo Nix: A-
Nix had a very nice game for the Broncos, as they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 29-19. Nix completed 25 passes for 273 yards, threw two touchdowns to Courtland Sutton against no interceptions, and rushed for five yards on a carry but was sacked once. Nix continues to improve and look sharper as a passer, and he can potentially win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award if he continues to play at an impressive level.
Detroit Lions: Jared Goff: C+
Goff played a fair game for the Lions, as he commanded a good offense in the team’s 24-6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Goff completed 26 passes for 269 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, and rushed for no yards on two carries but was sacked three times. Goff may not have thrown a single touchdown pass, but his passing and offensive performance helped position the Lions for both Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery to get the team’s points on the board.
Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love: A-
Love had a great game for the Packers, as they made quick work of the injury-plagued San Francisco 49ers in their 38-10 win. Love completed 13 passes for 163 yards, threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for two yards on a carry but was sacked twice. Despite not throwing for 200 yards, Love still guided the Packers to a very dominating win over the woeful 49ers.
Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud: C-
Stroud had a decent game for the Texans, but his efforts weren’t enough, as the team lost 27-32 against the Tennessee Titans. Stroud completed 20 passes for 247 yards, threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, and rushed for 18 yards on three carries but was sacked four times. The interception he threw near the end of the first half hurt the Texans, as the Titans scored a field goal as a result, and he’s thrown nine interceptions so far this season compared to the five interceptions he threw in his rookie season back in 2023.
Indianapolis Colts: Anthony Richardson: C-
Richardson played an okay game for the Colts, but the team couldn’t score a touchdown all game in their 6-24 loss at home against the Detroit Lions. Richardson completed 11 passes for 172 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 61 yards on 10 carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. The Colts failed to get anything going in the red zone.
Despite Richardson’s inefficiencies returning, the second-year signal caller managed to not turn the ball over against a very fierce Lions’ defense. Richardson and the Colts have to return to the drawing board on the road before their week 13 match-up against the New England Patriots.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Mac Jones: Bye Week
Jones has been awful in his lone two starts for the Jaguars. The Jaguars did get some good news with Trevor Lawrence returning to practice. However, Lawrence’s status for the team’s week 13 matchup against the Houston Texans is uncertain. If Lawrence isn’t starting, Jones needs to drastically step up and improve upon his production from his performances in weeks 10 and 11.
Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes: A-
Mahomes had another great performance for the Chiefs, as they narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers 30-27 in the final seconds of the game. The superstar NFL quarterback completed 27 passes for 269 yards, threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for 60 yards on five yards but was sacked five times. Mahomes played well and kept the Chiefs in it all game long, despite the Panthers playing just as well for the majority of the game.
Las Vegas Raiders: Gardner Minshew: C
Minshew played an okay game, as he and the Raiders lost a very tough 19-29 divisional battle against the Denver Broncos. Minshew completed 25 passes for 230 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Ameer Abdullah against an interception, and rushed for five yards on two carries but was sacked three times.
Minshew also suffered a broken collarbone late in the fourth quarter when he was sacked by both Cody Barton and Jonathan Cooper. Former Atlanta Falcons’ NFL quarterback Desmond Ridder needs to step up and help salvage what’s left of the Raiders’ 2024 season.
Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert: C+
Herbert played a decent game for the Chargers against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football, but Herbert and the Chargers fell just short in their 23-30 loss at home. Herbert completed 21 passes for 36 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 29 yards on four carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked four times.
Herbert ran into a very fierce Ravens’ defense that made things tough for the Chargers’ offense. However, Herbert should be able to bounce back from this loss as the Chargers get set to travel east for their week 13 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford: B-
Stafford played a decent game for the Rams, as they were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles 20-37. Stafford completed 24 passes for 243 yards, threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for 15 yards on a carry, but was sacked five times and had a fumble but didn’t lose it. Stafford may not have thrown an interception in the game, but losing to a very talented Eagles team had to hurt.
Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa: A-
Tua Tagovailoa played a solid game, as he led the Dolphins to a 34-15 victory over the woeful New England Patriots. Tagovailoa completed 29 passes for 317 yards, threw four touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for negative two yards on two carries but was sacked twice. Tagovailoa tore apart the Patriots’ secondary with some very accurate throws despite a couple of poor decisions by the end of the first half.
Tagovailoa has revitalized the Dolphins’ offense ever since his return in week eight and has helped the Dolphins earn three straight wins, which started back in week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Minnesota Vikings: Sam Darnold: A-
Darnold played a very nice game for the Vikings, as he helped lead the team to a nail-biting 30-27 overtime win over the Chicago Bears. Darnold completed 22 passes for 330 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for a negative yard on two carries but was sacked three times.
Darnold played a very similar game against Caleb Williams statistically but managed to maintain possession of the ball in overtime and helped set up kicker John Parker Romo to kick the game-winner for the Vikings.
New England Patriots: Drake Maye: C-
Rookie NFL quarterback Drake Maye played a decent game and showed some good signs of improvement, but the rest of the offense around him couldn’t help him out, as the Patriots lost 15-34 against the Miami Dolphins in South Beach. Maye completed 22 passes for 222 yards, threw a touchdown to Austin Hooper against an interception, and rushed for 26 yards on five carries but was sacked four times. Maye continued to be one of the few bright spots for the Patriots, even with an offense that looked like a JV team.
New Orleans Saints: Derek Carr: Bye Week
Carr has looked very good under interim head coach Darren Rizzi’s leadership. However, Carr and the Saints will be tested in week 13, when the Los Angeles Rams come to town.
New York Giants: Tommy DeVito: D+
DeVito didn’t play the worst football game of his life, but he didn’t play a great game, as the Giants lost 7-30 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. DeVito completed 21 passes for 189 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, and rushed for 32 yards on seven carries but was sacked four times.
DeVito has some big shoes to fill, as the Giants parted ways with Daniel Jones in the team’s painful 2024 season. Will DeVito help the Giants earn their first win since week five? We’ll just have to wait and see.
New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers: Bye Week
Rodgers and the Jets have had a disastrous 2023 season, and things aren’t getting easier for Rodgers and Gang Green. Rodgers will start for the Jets in week 13 when the team welcomes the Seattle Seahawks to town.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts: A-
Hurts commanded a great game on the field as the Eagles overpowered the Los Angeles Rams 37-20. Hurts completed 15 passes for 179 yards, threw a touchdown pass to A.J. Brown against no interceptions, and rushed for 39 yards on 12 carries but was sacked once. Hurts may not have thrown a lot of touchdowns, but he has his teammate Saquon Barkley to thank for that, as he scored two rushing touchdowns and kept the game out of reach for the Rams.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Russell Wilson: B-
Wilson played a good game for the Steelers on Thursday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns but came up short in the team’s 19-24 loss. Wilson completed 21 passes for 270 yards, threw a touchdown to Calvin Austin III against no interceptions, and rushed for 10 yards on three carries, but he was sacked four times and lost a fumble, which he recovered. Wilson continued to play well for the Steelers, but the Browns’ defense had other answers, as they pulled off the upset against Wilson and the Steelers.
San Francisco 49ers: Brandon Allen: C-
Allen was thrust into action in the 49ers’ 10-38 loss against the Green Bay Packers, with star NFL quarterback Brock Purdy ruled out due to right shoulder soreness. Allen completed 17 passes for 199 yards, threw a touchdown to George Kittle in the second quarter against an interception, and rushed for five yards on two carries but was sacked twice and fumbled the ball twice, but recovered one of his fumbles.
Not a great performance by Allen, as the 49ers’ offense struggled around him except for Kittle, having a great game in the passing attack. If Purdy is out for a second straight week, Allen has to step up in week 13, when the 49ers travel to Western New York for a showdown against the Buffalo Bills.
Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith: C
Geno Smith had an okay afternoon as he helped the Seahawks earn a nice 16-6 win at home against the Arizona Cardinals. Smith completed 22 passes for 231 yards, threw a touchdown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba against an interception, and rushed for two yards on three carries but was sacked five times. Smith didn’t play his best game, but he did just enough to help lead the Seahawks to a very nice divisional win against their NFC West foes.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield: B+
Mayfield played a good game for the Bucs, as he led them to a very nice 30-7 victory over the struggling New York Giants. Mayfield completed 24 passes for 294 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 29 yards on four carries, scored a rushing touchdown, and wasn’t sacked at all. A great afternoon for Mayfield and company, as the rushing attack made the Giants’ defense look like fools for most of the game.
Tennessee Titans: Will Levis: B-
Levis played a good game for the Titans, as they stunned the Houston Texans 32-27. Levis completed 18 passes for 278 yards, threw two touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for 10 yards on eight carries but was sacked eight times. The sophomore NFL quarterback plays improved, but the interception by Texans safety Jimmie Ward, who returned it for a 65-yard pick-six, is a blemish while the eight sacks were on the offensive line not doing enough to protect him on the right side. Levis still has some learning to do, but this game was an improvement for Levis overall.
Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels: C
Daniels played an okay game, but missed opportunities hurt Daniels and the Commanders in their 26-34 loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Daniels completed 25 passes for 275 yards, threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, rushed for 74 yards on seven carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked four times. It was not the worst performance from Daniels, but this game will sting, as Daniels and the Commanders need to rebound fast if they want to have a chance at making the playoffs.
