Week 13 saw some great quarterback production from guys who want to sneak into the playoffs and make a potential run for a Super Bowl championship while other guys on the field struggled in their performances or got hurt and suffered injury setbacks despite getting wins or losses.
Here is where all 32 NFL Teams quarterbacks stand after week 13 games:
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray: C+ (Last week C-)
Kyler Murray had a good performance on the road in the Cardinals’ 24-10 upset victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Murray completed 13 passes for 145 yards, threw one touchdown against no interceptions, and rushed for 20 yards on nine carries but was sacked twice in the win. Murray’s Cardinals have been struggling all season long but every once in a while, the team can pull away with a victory that warms the hearts of Cardinals fans. The team can use a higher draft pick in the 2024 NFL draft next season- if they lose the rest of their games.
Atlanta Falcons: Desmond Ridder: C (Last week C-)
Desmond Ridder may be one of the NFL’s more inconsistent quarterbacks but he can still get the job done, as he did in the Falcons’ week 13 13-8 victory over the struggling New York Jets. Ridder completed 12 passes for 121 yards, threw one touchdown against no interceptions but was sacked three times and lost a fumble but managed to recover it. Ridder is not at the top of the rankings when compared to his fellow quarterbacks in the league, but, when it comes to getting wins, he can be that guy to help his Falcons secure victories- when it matters most.
Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson: Bye Week (Last week B+)

With the Ravens on a bye week, Lamar Jackson needs to continue to play well as well as stay healthy as the last few weeks of the season as every team in playoff contention are eying the one seed.
Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen: Bye Week (Last week B-)
Josh Allen and company need to improve and win out if the Bills want to make the playoffs as a wildcard team or if they lose rebound for the 2024 season.
Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young: D- (Last week F)
It was another bad week for Bryce Young as he and the Panthers were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Young completed 15 passes for 178 yards, and threw one interception against no touchdowns but was sacked four times. It has been a very disastrous season for Young, to say the least, as he and the Panthers need to lose out and get a high draft pick for 2024 for the Panthers to become relevant again.
Chicago Bears: Justin Fields: Bye Week (Last week C-)
Even though Justin Fields isn’t the best quarterback in the league, he still can earn wins if he plays well for Chicago but the Bears need to retool the offense much better for Fields to continue improving for 2024.
Cincinnati Bengals: Jake Browning: B (Last week C-)
Jake Browning held his own in the Bengals 34-31 overtime victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football. Browning completed 32 passes for 354 yards, threw one touchdown against zero interceptions, rushed for 22 yards on two carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked twice. Even with Joe Burrow out, with a season-ending wrist injury, Browning played very well in a hostile environment in Jacksonville. He earned his stripes as the Bengals signal caller for the remainder of the season- until Burrow recovers and resumes play in 2024.
Cleveland Browns: Joe Flacco: C- (Last week C-)
Despite losing 19-36 to the Los Angeles Rams, Joe Flacco performed very well against the Rams. This was a great showing for the veteran quarterback, who was recently signed as a replacement for an injured Deshaun Watson. Flacco completed 23 passes for 254 yards and threw two touchdowns against one interception but was sacked twice. Flacco proved he still has what it takes and he is officially a serviceable talent for whoever signs him in the near future.
Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott: A- (Last week A)
Dak Prescott had another excellent performance against a tougher Seattle Seahawks team in the Cowboys’ week 13 matchup. Prescott completed 29 passes for 299 yards, threw three touchdowns against zero interceptions, and rushed for 23 yards on seven carries but was sacked four times. Prescott is playing an amazing season and looks to potentially jump the Philadelphia Eagles for who can potentially win the NFC East.
Denver Broncos: Russell Wilson: D+ (Last week B-)
Russell Wilson took a step back as the Broncos’ five-game winning streak ended in a 17-22 loss to the Houston Texans. Wilson completed 15 passes for 186 yards, threw one touchdown against three interceptions, rushed for 44 yards on 10 carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked three times as well. Not the ideal loss for Wilson, who has been playing much better so far in the second half of the season, but he will rebound from this game and keep the Broncos in the hunt for a playoff spot, for the remainder of the season.
Detroit Lions: Jared Goff: B+ (Last week D+)
Jared Goff sprung back into action putting behind his disappointing week 12 performance with a far better performance in week 13’s 33-28 Lions victory over the New Orleans Saints. Goff completed 16 passes for 213 yards and threw two touchdowns against zero interceptions but was sacked once. Goff needed this victory to help the Lions get back atop their mountain to further clinch the capture of the NFC North crown.
Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love: A- (Last week A-)
Jordan Love played a great game against the Kansas City Chiefs in a competitive 27-19 victory. Love completed 25 passes for 267 yards, threw three touchdowns against zero interceptions but was sacked twice. Love is finally showing why he is the successor to Aaron Rodgers with another impressive victory for the Packers against a tough opponent, in the Chiefs, at home.
Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud: C+ (Last week C+)
C.J. Stroud played somewhat better in the Texans’ week 13 22-17 victory over the Denver Broncos. Stroud completed 16 passes for 274 yards, threw one touchdown against no interceptions, and rushed for 11 yards on six carries but was sacked five times. Stroud needs to step up a little more in huge games. His overall performance for the season, so far, may garner a potential Rookie of the Year win.
Indianapolis Colts: Gardner Minshew: B (Last week C)
Gardner Minshew had a good performance as he and the Colts defeated the Tennessee Titans 31-28 overtime win in comeback fashion. Minshew completed 26 passes for 312 yards, threw two touchdowns against zero interceptions, and rushed for two yards on three carries but was sacked three times. Minshew continues to do well, as Anthony Richardson continues his recovery from shoulder surgery. The Colts lock up their playoff hopes, with another win!
Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence: B- (Last week B-)
Trevor Lawrence played well against the Cincinnati Bengals in a tough 31-34 overtime loss but left the game with an ankle sprain. Lawrence completed 22 passes for 258 yards, threw two touchdowns against zero interceptions but was sacked twice. Lawrence also rushed for eight yards on five carries and scored a rushing touchdown. After Lawrence left the game with an ankle sprain, CJ Beathard took over and played well as he completed nine passes for 63 yards but was sacked twice as well. If Lawrence is out for some time, Beathard has to be prepared to take the starting snaps for the remainder of the season or until Lawrence gets back.
Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes: C+ (Last week A-)
Patrick Mahomes couldn’t get the win on the road, as the Chiefs fell to the Green Bay Packers 19-27, but he did play okay. Mahomes completed 21 passes for 210 yards, threw a touchdown against an interception, and rushed for 26 yards on four carries but was sacked three times. Mahomes will bounce back from this loss, in the coming weeks, as the season winds down. He will certainly, guide the Chiefs through the playoffs- as defending Super Bowl Champions.
Las Vegas Raiders: Aidan O’Connell: Bye Week (Last week C+)
Aidan O’Connell may not be the future quarterback for the Raiders but he has been playing decent football since taking over for Jimmy Garoppolo and needs to continue playing well otherwise his future will be in doubt in 2024.
Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert: D+ (Last week C-)
Justin Herbert didn’t have his best performance in week 13’s 6-0 win over the New England Patriots, but the Chargers got the win and can fight another day. Herbert completed 22 passes for 212 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, and was not sacked all game. Despite not getting sacked, Herbert needs to get more completions to his receivers and tight ends as well as find open targets in the end-zone to get more points on the board- but a win is a win, nonetheless.
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford: A (Last week B-)
Matthew Stafford played a near flawless game, as he led the Rams to a 36-19 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Stafford completed 22 passes for 37 yards, threw three touchdowns against zero interceptions and wasn’t sacked at all. Stafford still has it in him, and continues to prove he can be a great leader. There is no doubt, however, that any team will eventually look to sign a younger and more powerful quarterback, in the future.
Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa: A (Last week C+)
Tua Tagovailoa had quite the dominant performance as the Dolphins defeated the Washington Commanders 45-15. Tagovailoa completed 18 passes for 280 yards, threw two touchdowns to Tyreek Hill against zero interceptions, and wasn’t sacked at all. It was a great performance for Tagovailoa, as he shows the league why he belongs. He is also steering the Dolphins in their attempt to secure the one seed in the 2023-24 playoff race.
Minnesota Vikings: Joshua Dobbs: Bye Week (Last week D-)
Joshua Dobbs had a rough week in week 12 against the Chicago Bears but needs to put that loss behind him and win out with the Vikings if they want to compete for a playoff spot.
New England Patriots: Bailey Zappe: F (Last week F)
Bailey Zappe who played in place of a recently benched Mac Jones did not see that much success on the field in the Patriots’ 0-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Zappe completed 13 passes for 141 yards and didn’t throw a touchdown or interception but was sacked five times. The Patriots need a massive revamp on all fronts if they want to be competitive in 2024 as the 2023 season winds down. Zappe also needs a new home for a fresh start as a journeyman backup- if he continues to struggle.
New Orleans Saints: Derek Carr: C- (Last week D+)
Derek Carr and company played a tough and close contest against the Detroit Lions but came up short in a 28-33 loss. Carr completed 17 passes for 226 yards and threw a touchdown against an interception, but was sacked twice and lost a fumble. Carr also left the game with a shoulder injury, a possible rib injury, and a concussion as Jameis Winston took the remaining snaps. Winston completed two passes for 41 yards but threw no touchdowns or interceptions. Carr needs to recover well and Winston needs to step up- in case Carr is out long-term.
New York Giants: Tommy DeVito: Bye Week (Last week D+)
Even with Tommy DeVito not playing the best football this season, he still is doing whatever he can despite playing behind a terrible offensive line. Tyrod Taylor is also returning to practice this week and can fill in for DeVito if he gets hurt.
New York Jets: Tim Boyle: F (Last week F)
Tim Boyle is neither the short-term nor long-term solution for the Jets’ quarterback woes as he played in yet another awful game in Metlife Stadium. Boyle completed 14 passes for 148 yards, threw one interception against no touchdowns, and was sacked once. Boyle’s performance was so bad that he was benched for Trevor Siemian who played slightly better but was also inconsistent as he was sacked three times and lost a fumble. The Jets are in a should’ve, would’ve, could’ve situation… with their failure to sign veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, instead of letting the Cleveland Browns snag him, as their quarterback problems continue. Boyle was recently released from the Jets but needs to head to the XFL or CFL if he wants to play professional football again.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts: C+ (Last week A-)
It was a very tough night for the Philadelphia Eagles and Jalen Hurts in their 19-42 loss. Hurts completed 26 passes for 298 yards, threw one touchdown, rushed for 20 yards for seven carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked three times. Incompletions hurt Hurts’ performance, in the end, but he and the Eagles will bounce back from this beatdown loss to the 49ers, for the remaining weeks of the regular season.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Mitch Trubisky: C- (Last week C-)
Kenny Pickett started the game with seven passes for 70 yards at first for the Steelers but left with an ankle sprain as Mitch Trubisky took over. Trubisky completed 11 passes for 117 yards, threw a touchdown against no interceptions, and wasn’t sacked at all. If Pickett is out long-term, Trubisky must be ready to lead the Steelers’ offense for the remainder of the season as Pickett recovers from his ankle injury.
San Francisco 49ers: Brock Purdy: A- (Last week B-)
Brock Purdy had an amazing night in the city of “Brotherly Love” as the 49ers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 42-19. Purdy completed 19 passes for 314 yards and threw four touchdowns against zero interceptions but was sacked twice. Despite getting sacked twice, Purdy played an incredible game, as he proved the 49ers are one of the best offenses in the NFL, this season.
Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith: B- (Last week D-)
Geno Smith played a lot better than he did in the Seahawks Thanksgiving loss to the San Francisco 49ers but came up short against the Dallas Cowboys in week 13. Smith completed 23 passes for 334 yards, threw three touchdowns against one interception, rushed for six yards on two carries, scored a rushing touchdown, and wasn’t sacked all game. Smith played well but couldn’t get the Seahawks past the Cowboys at the end of the night.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield: C+ (Last week C-)
Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers had a good day against the struggling Carolina Panthers in a 21-18 win. Mayfield completed 14 passes for 202 yards, threw one touchdown against one interception, and was sacked once. Mayfield may be an inconsistent quarterback for the most part, but when it comes to helping a team get wins, he is a good game manager that can help be a leader for that team- even though his play needs to improve in 2024.
Tennessee Titans: Will Levis: C- (Last week D+)
Will Levis almost led his team to a victory over their AFC South rivals, the Indianapolis Colts, but fell short as the Colts came from behind and secured the victory over the Titans. Levis completed 16 passes for 224 yards and threw one touchdown against zero interceptions but was sacked six times. It wasn’t the greatest offensive showing from Levis. He could’ve played a lot worse. The offensive line in Tennessee needs to protect Levis much better moving forward, and the 2024 season.
Washington Commanders: Sam Howell: D (Last week F)
It was another brutal day for Sam Howell as he and the Commanders fell to the Miami Dolphins in a 15-45 loss. Howell completed 12 passes for 127 yards, threw one interception against no touchdowns, rushed for 21 yards on four carries, and scored two touchdowns but was sacked three times. It was a slightly better performance for Howell but Howell’s play has been very inconsistent and he needs to drastically improve for the 2024 season or he’ll end up a backup in the future.
