Week two NFL action picked up, as some offenses emerged after losing their first games of the season. Some offenses took off and kept their foot on the gas and didn’t look back as they led their NFL teams to a well-earned victory. However, other offenses struggled immensely or failed to come back against their opponents and need to clean things up in practice for a stronger week three.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ offenses after week two.
Which NFL teams showcased the best offense in the game after week two of this season?
Arizona Cardinals: A-
The Cardinals’ offense exploded as they crushed the Los Angeles Rams 41-10. Kyler Murray threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, James Conner rushed for 122 yards on 21 carries and scored a rushing touchdown, Elijah Higgins caught one reception for 18 yards and scored a touchdown, and Marvin Harrison Jr. caught four receptions for 130 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Murray’s performance, along with having Harrison Jr. catch and score touchdowns, was the team’s true momentum all game, and they should start to make opposing defenses shake in their boots in the weeks to come this NFL season.
Atlanta Falcons: B+
After getting dropped by the Pittsburgh Steelers in week one, the Falcons’ offense finally earned their elusive first win of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kirk Cousins threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked once. Bijan Robinson rushed for 97 yards on 14 carries, Darnell Mooney caught three receptions for 88 yards and scored a touchdown, and Drake London caught six receptions for 54 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown. A great rebound performance for the Falcons’ offense as they stunned the Eagles on the road

Baltimore Ravens: C
The Ravens’ offense was stunned at home 23-26 by the Las Vegas Raiders despite attempting a comeback in the end. Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown against an interception but was sacked twice. Derrick Henry had a strong game on the ground, as he rushed for 84 yards on 18 carries and scored a rushing touchdown. Zay Flowers caught seven receptions for 91 yards and scored a touchdown.
One of the moments that hurt the Ravens’ offense was 13 incompletions from Jackson. Another contributing factor was the rest of the Ravens’ receiving core not being able to top 60 yards outside of Flowers all game. Time for the Ravens to head back to practice and find a way to put some checked boxes in the win column.
Buffalo Bills: B
The Bills’ offense went to work in South Beach and defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-10. Josh Allen threw a touchdown pass against no interceptions, Jame Cook rushed for 78 yards on 11 carries, scored two rushing touchdowns, caught one reception for 17 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown, and Khalil Shakir led the Bills in receiving yards with 54 receptions. Offensively, the Bills played well, thanks to Josh Allen’s leadership and James Cook’s speed.
Carolina Panthers: F
It was another disastrous Sunday afternoon for the Panthers, as they were crushed at home 3-26 to the Los Angeles Chargers. Bryce Young threw an interception against no touchdowns and was benched the day after the game in favor of backup veteran quarterback Andy Dalton. Chubba Hubbard rushed for 64 yards on 10 carries, and Tommy Tremble caught three receptions for 23 yards. The Panthers’ offense needs more talented receivers around Young as well as to observe and learn more from Dalton as he takes the helm come week three.
Chicago Bears: D-
The Bears’ offense was almost nonexistent in their 13-19 loss on the road against the Houston Texans. Caleb Williams threw two interceptions against no touchdowns, rushed for 44 yards on five carries, and was sacked seven times. The Bears’ rushing attack was held to 71 yards all game. DJ Moore had a decent game, as he caught six receptions for 53 yards.
Williams struggled during primetime, as he missed key throws and threw those two costly interceptions that hurt the Bears throughout the entire game. Williams and the rest of the offense need to step it up fast. If they don’t, they will undoubtedly extend their losing streak.
Cincinnati Bengals: C
The Bengals’ offense played a very close and intense battle with the Kansas City Chiefs before losing on a Harrison Butker field goal right at the end. Joe Burrow threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked three times, Zack Moss rushed for 34 yards on 12 carries, Mike Gesicki caught seven receptions for 91 yards, and Andrei Iosivas caught two receptions for seven yards and scored two touchdowns.
Despite Burrow’s efforts, the Bengals’ rushing attack was silenced by the Chiefs’ defense, and the passing attack missed needed key passes. However, Ja’Marr Chase had an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called against him in the fourth quarter, which the Chiefs took advantage of, as they ultimately got the win from Butker’s field goal.

Cleveland Browns: C
The Browns’ offense slowly turned things around in their week two 18-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Deshaun Watson threw no touchdowns or interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown. Jerome Ford rushed for 64 yards on seven carries, and Jerry Jeudy caught five receptions for 73 yards.
The Browns’ offense needs to score those key receiving touchdowns, as their defense can’t be the only reason why they’ll win games this season. However, it was nice to see Jerry Jeudy up his game in Cleveland after he struggled in his first few years in Denver.
Dallas Cowboys: D
The Cowboys’ offense was shocked and stunned, as they lost 19-44 in utterly humiliating fashion to the New Orleans Saints. Dak Prescott threw two costly interceptions against one touchdown. CeeDee Lamb caught four receptions for 90 yards and scored a touchdown, and Rico Dowdle rushed for 30 yards on seven carries.
The rest of the Cowboys’ rushing attack was held to 68 total yards. It was a brutal afternoon for the Cowboys’ offense, as they entered the 2024 season with high expectations. They have to turn things around quickly, or they’ll continue losing key games moving forward.
Denver Broncos: F
It was a very bad afternoon for the Broncos’ offense, as they struggled in their 6-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bo Nix struggled as he threw two interceptions against no touchdowns. Nix also led the Broncos with 25 rushing yards on the ground while the rest of the rushing attack was held to 64 yards all game.
Josh Reynolds caught four receptions for 93 yards on the afternoon. The only points scored by the Broncos were by kicker Will Lutz, who kicked two field goals in the fourth quarter. The Broncos offense needs their rushing attack to step up, as well as make sure Nix throws a touchdown pass and leads the Broncos to that elusive win their fans have been craving thus far at the beginning of the season.
Detroit Lions: D+
The Lions’ offense took a bit of a step back with their 16-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jared Goff threw two interceptions against no touchdowns, Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 84 yards on 13 carries, David Montgomery rushed for 35 yards on 11 carries and scored a touchdown, and Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 11 receptions for 119 yards. Despite Goff throwing two interceptions, St. Brown, Montgomery, and Gibbs carried the offense and will certainly bounce back from this bump in the road in the coming weeks.
Green Bay Packers: B-
The Packers’ offense played fair as they defeated the Indianapolis Colts 16-10. Malik Willis threw a touchdown against no interceptions and wasn’t sacked at all. Josh Jacobs rushed for 151 yards on 32 carries, Romeo Dobbs caught three receptions for 62 yards, and Dontayvion Wicks caught three receptions for 26 yards and scored a touchdown in the first quarter.
The Packers’ offense may not have scored any touchdowns after the first quarter, but they are fortunate enough to have Brayden Narveson as their kicker, who made three of four field goals in the game.
Houston Texans: B-
The Texans’ offense played well in their week two matchup, a 19-13 victory against a very woeful Chicago Bears team during their NFL game. C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown against no interceptions, Cam Akers rushed for 32 yards on seven carries, and Nico Collins caught eight receptions for 135 yards and scored a touchdown.
Despite the win, the Texans’ rushing attack was held to 75 yards all game. Joe Mixon went down with an ankle sprain due to an illegal hip-drop tackle and plans to get an MRI before week three begins. Either way, the Texans’ offense came out as the victors entering week three.
Indianapolis Colts: C
The Colts fell to the Green Bay Packers 10-16, despite a comeback attempt, near the very end. Anthony Richardson threw a touchdown pass against three interceptions (one being the game-ending interception). Jonathan Taylor rushed for 103 yards on 12 carries, and Alec Pierce caught five receptions for 56 yards and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Colts’ offense showed some fight, even though Richardson threw a couple of costly interceptions, which led to their downfall in the end.
Jacksonville Jaguars: D+
The Jaguars’ offense had a rough Sunday, as they were defeated by the Cleveland Browns 13-18. Trevor Lawrence threw no touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked four times, Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 52 yards on 13 carries and scored a rushing touchdown, and Brian Thomas Jr. caught two receptions for 94 yards.
It was a brutal afternoon for the Jaguars, as the Browns’ defense made things very challenging for Lawrence, and he even took the blame for the Jaguars’ struggles. The offense needs to find a way to turn things around quickly.
Kansas City Chiefs: B
The Chiefs’ offense played well in their nail-biting 26-25 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Patrick Mahomes threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, Isiah Pacheco rushed for 90 yards on 19 carries, Rashee Rice caught five receptions for 75 yards and scored a touchdown, and Wayne Morris caught one reception for one yard and scored a touchdown.
Despite a quiet afternoon from Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy, the Chiefs played a fair game. However, losing Pacheco to a fractured fibula is going to hurt the Chiefs down the road. We’ll see how the Chiefs do in week three without Pacheco.
Las Vegas Raiders: B-
The Raiders offense had a bounce-back game in their 26-23 upset victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Gardner Minshew threw a touchdown against an interception but was sacked five times. The Raiders’ rushing attack had 27 yards all game, as Alexander Mattison scored a rushing touchdown, and Davante Adams caught nine receptions for 110 yards and scored a receiving touchdown.
Despite the quiet performance from the Raiders’ running backs, who are still reeling over losing Josh Jacobs, in the offseason, Adams had a very strong game, as well as rookie tight end Brock Bowers, who caught nine receptions for 98 yards. The Raiders’ offensive identity is tied to the passing game as long as Davante Adams is healthy.
Los Angeles Chargers: A-
The Chargers’ offense, under Jim Harbaugh, was ready to roll and continue their strong start as they defeated the Carolina Panthers 26-3. Justin Herbert threw two touchdowns against one interception. J.K. Dobbins had another strong game, as he rushed for 131 yards on 17 carries and scored a touchdown, and Quentin Johnston caught five receptions for 51 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Although Justin Herbert hurt his leg in the win, the X-rays came back negative, which is good news for the offense, as the passing attack is starting to slowly find its way back in the NFL. Dobbins is having a renaissance season under Harbaugh’s leadership.
Los Angeles Rams: D-
It was a rough afternoon for the Rams, as they were humbled in the desert against the Arizona Cardinals, 10-41. Matthew Stafford threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked five times, Kyren Williams rushed for 25 yards on 12 carries and scored a touchdown, and Demarcus Robinson caught two receptions for 50 yards.
The Rams are hurting without Puka Nakua in the lineup, and Cooper Kupp will miss some serious time due to his ankle injury. The Rams need their other receivers and tight ends to fill the gap if they want to stay relevant in the NFC West moving forward.
Miami Dolphins: D
It was a rough night for the Dolphins’ offense, as they fell flat 10-31 to their AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills. Tua Tagovailoa threw a touchdown against three interceptions but had to leave the game with a terrifying concussion. De’Von Achane had a good game on the ground, as he rushed 96 yards on 22 carries, caught seven receptions for 69 yards, and scored this NFL team’s only touchdown of the night. The loss was mainly due to a sloppy offensive performance. We wish Tagovailoa a speedy recovery.
Minnesota Vikings: A-
The Vikings’ offense continued to amaze as they defeated the San Francisco 49ers 23-17. Sam Darnold threw two touchdowns against one interception, Ty Chandler rushed for 82 yards on 10 carries, Justin Jefferson caught four receptions for 133 yards and scored a touchdown even though he left the game with a quad injury, and Jalon Nailor caught three receptions for 54 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Vikings prevailed by having the right signal caller in Sam Darnold, despite him being the backup, as J.J. McCarthy recovers. He proved he is just as capable of commanding plays, with all of the talent around him, for a potential special run.
New England Patriots: B-
The young and gritty Patriots’ offense had a good afternoon despite losing 20-23 in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks. Jacoby Brissett threw a touchdown against no interceptions, Antonio Gibson rushed for 96 yards on 11 carries, Rhadmondre Stevenson rushed for 81 yards on 21 carries and scored a touchdown, and Ja’Lynn Polk caught two receptions for 12 yards and scored a touchdown, while Hunter Henry caught eight receptions for 109 yards. The Patriots’ receiving depth needs to catch more passes, while their rushing attack had a good afternoon on the ground.
New Orleans Saints: A-
The Saints offense didn’t let up on the speed for a moment as they cruised to a massive 44-19 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Derek Carr threw two touchdowns against an interception and scored a rushing touchdown. Alvin Kamara rushed for 115 yards on 20 carries, scored three rushing touchdowns, caught two receptions for 65 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown, while Rashid Shaheed caught four receptions for 96 yards and scored a touchdown. The Saints’ offense marched into “Jerry’s World” and proved they’re ready to rumble against some of the best opponents in the 2024 NFL season.
New York Giants: C
The Giants’ offense played a decent game and drastically improved from their week one performance, even though this NFL team lost 15-18. Daniel Jones threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Devin Singletary rushed for 95 yards on 16 carries and scored a touchdown, Malik Nabers caught 10 receptions for 127 yards and scored a touchdown, and Wan’Don Robinson caught two receptions for 18 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Giants’ offense is slowly getting their groove back, even though Commanders kicker Austin Seibert defeated the Giants with seven field goals. If the Giants continue to show some signs of life on offense, they will earn the elusive wins they have been craving this NFL season.
New York Jets: B+
After losing a tough one to the San Francisco 49ers, the Jets’ offense rebounded in their week two 24-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked twice. Breece Hall stole the show as he rushed for 62 yards on 14 carries, caught seven receptions for 52 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown.
Braelon Allen rushed for 33 yards on seven carries, scored a rushing touchdown, caught two receptions for 23 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown, and Garrett Wilson caught four receptions for 57 yards. The Jets’ offense finally earned their first win in the Aaron Rodgers era and look to add more wins as the season continues.
Philadelphia Eagles: B-
The Eagles’ offense played a solid game against the Atlanta Falcons but lost the game 21-22. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown and an interception (which was the game-ending interception) and scored a rushing touchdown, Saquon Barkley rushed for 95 yards on 22 carries but didn’t score a touchdown, and DeVonta Smith caught seven receptions for 76 yards.
The Eagles’ offense missed A.J. Brown, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, and he’ll be out for at least a couple of weeks. Regardless, the Eagles have to keep fighting with all of the talent they have around them.
Pittsburgh Steelers: C+
The Steelers’ offense continued their winning ways, as they secured a 13-6 victory over the Denver Broncos. Justin Fields is slowly continuing to improve, as he threw a touchdown against no interceptions. Najee Harris rushed for 69 yards on 17 carries, Pat Freiermuth caught four receptions for 39 yards, and Darnell Washington caught one reception for five yards and scored a touchdown.
The Steelers’ offense played fairly, as Fields is slowly improving, but they need to step it up in the passing game if they want to win more serious games coming up as the NFL season continues.
San Francisco 49ers: D+
It was a rough afternoon for the 49ers’ offense, as they fell to the Minnesota Vikings 17-23 during their NFL showdown. Brock Purdy threw a touchdown against an interception and was sacked six times, Jordan Mason had a good afternoon with 100 rushing yards on 20 carries and scored a rushing touchdown, Deebo Samuel caught eight receptions for 110 yards, and George Kittle caught seven receptions for 76 yards and scored a touchdown.
This was a brutal afternoon the defending NFC Champs need to forget about and move on from quickly; otherwise, they’ll be left in the dust as their divisional rivals are slowly gaining ground on them.
Seattle Seahawks: B
The Seahawks’ offense competed in a solid battle with the New England Patriots and won out 23-20 in overtime, thanks to Jason Myers kicking the game-winner. Geno Smith threw a touchdown against no interceptions, Zach Charbonnet rushed for 38 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown, DK Metcalf caught 10 receptions for 129 yards and scored a touchdown, and Jaxson Smith-Njigba caught 12 receptions for 117 yards. Despite a quiet day on the ground, the Seahawks’ receivers had a great game, thanks to Metcalf and Smith-Njigba’s performances.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C+
The Bucs’ offense had a decent afternoon on the road in their 20-16 revenge game against the Detroit Lions. Baker Mayfield threw a touchdown against an interception and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked five times. Bucky Irving rushed for 22 yards on seven carries as the Bucs’ rushing attack was held to a mere 70 yards all game.
Chris Godwin caught seven receptions for 117 yards and scored a receiving touchdown, and Mike Evans caught three receptions for 42 yards. It’s not the best showcasing for the Bucs’ offense, despite getting the win. However, the Bucs’ offense needs to step it up in the coming weeks against their upcoming NFL opponents.
Tennessee Titans: C-
Despite the Titans losing 17-24, they did have some good moments in the game. Will Levis threw a touchdown against an interception but was sacked four times. Tony Pollard rushed for 62 yards on 17 carries and caught five receptions for 40 yards, and Calvin Ridley caught four receptions for 77 yards, scored a touchdown, rushed for 10 yards on one carry, and scored a rushing touchdown.
Acquiring Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard are looking like great moves for the Titans despite the loss. However, Hopkins has struggled, as he only had one reception for nine yards. Will the Titans bounce back in week three and finally earn that elusive win they’ve been chasing? We’ll just wait and see.
Washington Commanders: C-
Despite defeating the New York Giants 21-18, the Commanders’ offense didn’t score any touchdowns in their victory, as Kicker Austin Seibert kicked seven field goals to win the game. Jayden Daniels threw no touchdowns or interceptions, Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 133 yards on 17 carries, and veteran tight end Zach Ertz caught four receptions for 62 yards.
Despite not scoring any touchdowns, Daniels improved his passing attack and had more receivers and tight ends catch key passes, but the Commanders’ offense still needs to score touchdowns if they want to win more games in the NFL. Field goals just aren’t enough to carry every game.
