Week nine was a great week for strong offenses, as we saw some impressive offensive performances from the contenders and teams wanting to make a name for themselves in this wild 2024 NFL season.
Some offenses couldn’t get it going during week nine, as time was slowly running out for a chance to be relevant. The first half of the season is pretty much finished. Now, the question is, which team’s offense will have a strong finish by the end of the 2024 NFL season?
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ offenses after week nine.
Which teams had the best offense in the entire NFL after week 9?
Arizona Cardinals: B
The Cardinals’ offense may not have gotten much out of their passing attack, but they did secure the 29-9 win over the Chicago Bears. Kyler Murray didn’t throw a touchdown or interception, James Conner rushed for 107 yards on 18 carries, and Emari Demarcado rushed for 59 yards on four carries and scored a touchdown. Trey Benson rushed for 37 yards on eight carries and scored a touchdown.
Trey McBride rushed for two yards on a carry, scored a touchdown, and caught three receptions for 35 yards, and Marvin Harrison Jr. and Elijah Higgins both caught two receptions for 34 yards. The Cardinals’ rushing attack shined, as they were able to punch holes through the Bears’ defense in a very dominating ground game. The Cardinals will defend their home turf in week 10 when the New York Jets come to town.
Atlanta Falcons: A-

The Falcons’ offense looked sharp in their 27-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Kirk Cousins threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, Bijan Robinson rushed for 86 yards on 19 carries and caught seven receptions for 59 yards, and Darnell Mooney caught five receptions for 88 yards and scored a touchdown.
Ray-Ray McCloud III caught three receptions for 28 yards and scored a touchdown, and Drake London caught two receptions for 27 yards and scored a touchdown but left the game with a hip injury. It was a solid win for the Falcons offense, as they continue to strike fear in opposing NFL defenses, but losing London to a hip injury is a sign of long-term concern for the Falcons.
Baltimore Ravens: A-
The Ravens’ offense went to work and dismantled the Denver Broncos 41-10 in front of their home crowd. Lamar Jackson threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, Derrick Henry rushed for 106 yards on 23 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns, Patrick Ricard caught a reception for three yards and scored a touchdown, and Zay Flowers caught five receptions for 127 yards and scored two touchdowns.
A great and dominating afternoon for the Ravens, as Jackson, Henry, and Flowers continue to be an offensive force to be reckoned with. The Ravens will defend home turf in week 10 as they welcome the Cincinnati Bengals to town on Thursday Night Football.
Buffalo Bills: B+
The Bills’ offense had a very good afternoon as they defeated the Miami Dolphins 30-27, thanks to Tyler Bass’ heroics near the end of their NFL game, kicking the winning field goal with minutes left. Josh Allen threw three touchdowns against an interception, James Cook rushed for 44 yards, Ray Davis rushed for 20 yards on four carries, caught two receptions for 70 yards, and scored a touchdown, Khalil Shakir caught six receptions for 50 yards, Mack Hollins caught five receptions for 30 yards and scored a touchdown, and Quintin Morris caught a reception for two yards and scored a touchdown.
Josh Allen continues to amaze, even without Amari Cooper, who was out due to wrist injuries. Rookie running back Ray Davis had an amazing afternoon as a pass catcher, with his 70 receiving yards and touchdown in the game.
Carolina Panthers: C+
The Panthers offense didn’t play their best game of the season, but they earned a nice nail-biting 23-22 win over the New Orleans Saints at home. Bryce Young threw a touchdown against an interception, Chuba Hubbard rushed for 72 yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns, Ja’Tavion Sanders caught four receptions for 87 yards, and Xavier Legette caught four receptions for 33 yards and scored a touchdown.
Hubbard commanded a great game on the ground, while Young continues to slowly improve as a quarterback on the field. However, the play-calling needs to improve, as head coach Dave Canales was all over the place with the passing attack. The Panthers have a wild week 10 ahead of them as they travel to Munich, Germany, for a showdown against the New York Giants.
Chicago Bears: D-
The Bears’ offense completely imploded, as they fell flat in their 9-29 loss in the desert against the Arizona Cardinals. Caleb Williams threw no touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked six times. Williams hurt his ankle with less than two minutes left in the game but continued playing, which drew criticism from CBS Sports’ Charles Davis, who was rightfully concerned about his health. D’Andre Swift rushed for 51 yards on 16 carries, and Rome Odunze caught five receptions for 104 yards.
The only points the Bears got on the board were from kicker Cairo Santos, who kicked three field goals. The rest of the Bears’ offense outside of Odunze struggled all game. Williams said that, after the game, he was fine despite the concerns from Davis in the broadcasting booth. The Bears’ offense returns home in week 10 for a showdown against the New England Patriots.
Cincinnati Bengals: B+
The Bengals’ offense had a very nice game, as they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 41-24. Joe Burrow threw five touchdowns against an interception, Chase Brown rushed for 120 yards on 27 carries, caught five receptions for 37 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown, and Mike Gesicki caught five receptions for 100 yards and scored his first two touchdowns of the 2024 season.
Drew Sample caught four receptions for 14 yards and scored a touchdown, Andrei Iosivas caught a reception for 10 yards, and Ja’Marr Chase caught seven receptions for 43 yards. A solid afternoon for this NFL team’s offense as they made quick work of the woeful Raiders.

Cleveland Browns: D-
The Browns’ offense fell flat in their 10-27 loss at home against the Los Angeles Chargers. Jamesis Winston threw a touchdown against three interceptions and was sacked six times, Nick Chubb rushed for 39 yards on 15 carries, Jerry Jeudy caught seven receptions for 73 yards, and Cedric Tillman caught six receptions for 75 yards and scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. A rough afternoon for the Browns, as the Chargers’ defense tore them apart for the majority of the game. Luckily for the Browns’ offense, they enter a bye week in week 10.
Dallas Cowboys: D
The Cowboys’ offense was a mess for the majority of the game, as they lost to the Atlanta Falcons 21-27. Dak Prescott threw a touchdown against no interceptions before exiting the game with a hamstring injury, while Cooper Rush threw a touchdown against no interceptions. Rico Dowdle rushed for 75 yards on 12 carries, caught five receptions for 32 yards, and scored a touchdown.
Jake Ferguson caught seven receptions for 71 yards, and Jalen Tolbert caught three receptions for 19 yards and scored a touchdown. Losing Prescott is going to hurt, as he’ll be out for several weeks. Rush has to be ready to step up and lead the Cowboys’ offense moving forward shortly, depending on how many NFL games Prescott is out.
Denver Broncos: D
The Broncos’ offense mostly fell flat in their 10-41 humiliating loss on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. Bo Nix threw an interception against no touchdown passes but did catch a touchdown pass from Courtland Sutton via trick play in the second quarter. Javonte Williams rushed for 42 yards on 12 carries, and Sutton caught seven receptions for 122 yards.
The rest of the Broncos’ offense couldn’t do much of anything, thanks to the Ravens’ defense holding them back for the majority of the game. The Broncos’ offense travels west to Arrowhead Stadium for a week 10 showdown against their AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Detroit Lions: B+
The Lions’ offense had a very nice afternoon in a rainy Lambeau Field as they defeated the Green Bay Packers 24-14. Jared Goff threw a touchdown against no interceptions, David Montgomery rushed for 73 yards on 17 carries, Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 65 yards on 11 carries and scored a touchdown, and Amon-Ra St. Brown caught seven receptions for 56 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Lions’ offense handled the elements very nicely and their NFC North rivals in dominant fashion. This NFL team’s offense continues their road trip as they travel south to the Lone Star state for a Sunday night showdown against the Houston Texans in week 10.
Green Bay Packers: D+
The Packers’ offense started the game very slowly until they made a comeback attempt in the fourth quarter before losing 14-24 against their longtime NFC North rivals, the Detroit Lions. Jordan Love threw an interception against no touchdown passes, Josh Jacobs rushed for 95 yards on 13 carries, Emmanuel Wilson rushed for 28 yards on four carries and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and Jayden Reed caught five receptions for 113 yards.
Despite the good performances from Reed and Jacobs, the Packers’ offense fell flat in the rain and was washed out by the Lions for the majority of the game. The Packers head into a bye week in week 10 and won’t return to action until week 11 when they square off against the Chicago Bears in the Windy City.
Houston Texans: D+
The Texans’ offense fizzled out, as they lost 13-21 against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Halloween night in the NFL. There were no tricks and no treats to be had. C.J. Stroud threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked eight times and lost a fumble, Joe Mixon rushed for 106 yards on 24 carries and scored the team’s only touchdown, and Tank Dell caught six receptions for 126 yards.
The Texans’ offense is feeling the effects of not having Stefon Diggs on the field as he recovers from the ACL injury he suffered in week eight. The Texans have to rebound fast as they get set to host the Detroit Lions in week 10.
Indianapolis Colts: D
The Colts’ offense had a very sloppy Sunday night, as Joe Flacco (who was promoted to the starting role after Anthony Richardson was benched for being too tired in week eight) fell to the Minnesota Vikings 13-21. Flacco threw an interception and lost a fumble, Jonathan Taylor rushed for 48 yards on 13 carries, Josh Downs caught six receptions for 66 yards, and Alec Pierce caught three receptions for 41 yards.
A very sloppy game for the Colts’ offense, as they couldn’t get enough juice going for the majority of the game. Turnovers and a lack of rushing yards doomed the team. The Colts’ offense returns home in week 10 as they get prepared to welcome the Buffalo Bills to town.
Jacksonville Jaguars: D
The Jaguars’ offense attempted a comeback in the second half of their afternoon battle against the Philadelphia Eagles but lost 23-28 at the very end. Trevor Lawrence threw two interceptions and scored two rushing touchdowns on the day, Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 24 yards on three carries while the rest of the Jaguars’ rushing attack combined for 60 yards on the ground, and Evan Engram caught five receptions for 45 yards.
A painful day for the offense, despite Lawrence’s heroics on the ground. The Jaguars’ offense needs to turn things around as they return home in week 10 and welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Duval County.
Kansas City Chiefs: A-
The Chiefs’ offense looked like an elite unit as they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-24 in overtime. Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, but Mahomes looked like he nearly injured his knee as he threw a touchdown pass to Samaje Perine until he returned to action in the next offensive possession.
Kareem Hunt rushed for 106 yards on 27 carries and scored the game-winning touchdown to end overtime, Travis Kelce caught 14 receptions for 100 yards, DeAndre Hopkins caught eight receptions for 86 yards and scored two touchdowns, and Perine caught four receptions for 25 yards and scored a touchdown. A great Monday night for the Chiefs’ offense as they made opposing defenses shake in their boots for the second half of the 2024 NFL season.
Las Vegas Raiders: D+
The dysfunction continues for the Raiders’ offense, as they lost an ugly 24-41 battle against the Cincinnati Bengals. Gardner Minshew threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was benched for Desmond Ridder, who did throw a touchdown against no interceptions, but Ridder and Minshew both lost fumbles, which were recovered by Logan Wilson of the Bengals. Zamir White rushed for 10 yards on six carries and scored a rushing touchdown, while the Raiders’ rushing attack was held to 60 yards on the ground, Brock Bowers caught 45 yards on five carries and scored a touchdown, and Jakobi Meyers caught eight receptions for 105 yards.
Despite the performances from Bowers and Meyers, the Raiders’ offense looked like a mess, as they ended up firing offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, offensive line coach James Cregg, and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello after the game.
Los Angeles Chargers: B+
The Chargers’ offense had a very nice afternoon in their 27-10 victory against the Cleveland Browns on the road. Justin Herbert threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked six times. J.K. Dobbins rushed for 85 yards on 14 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns. Quentin Johnston returned from an ankle injury he sustained in week six and caught four receptions for 118 yards and scored a 66-yard touchdown.
Ladd McConkey caught five receptions for 64 yards, and Joshua Palmer caught two receptions for 63 yards and scored a touchdown. A very nice afternoon for the Bolts’ offense. Having Johnston back in the lineup helped the passing game out tremendously. The Bolts return home and will get prepared for their week 10 match-up when the Tennessee Titans come to town.
Los Angeles Rams: B+
The Rams’ offense had a nice afternoon in the Pacific Northwest, as they defeated the Seattle Seahawks 26-20 in an NFL overtime game. Matthew Stafford threw two touchdowns against an interception and wasn’t sacked at all, Kyren Williams rushed for 69 yards on 22 carries, Cooper Kupp caught 11 receptions for 104 yards, and Demarcus Robinson caught six receptions for 94 yards and scored two touchdowns (including the game-winning touchdown to end overtime).
A strong afternoon for Kupp and Robinson, as they kept the Rams’ passing attack sharp against their NFC West rivals. However, Puka Nacua was ejected from the game after he punched Tyrel Dodson. Hopefully, Nacua will keep his cool in the Rams’ next game, as they return home for week 10 and host the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
Miami Dolphins: B-
The Dolphins’ offense played one of their better games of the 2024 season but came up short as they lost 27-30 against the Buffalo Bills. Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, De’Von Achane rushed for 63 yards on 12 carries, scored a rushing touchdown, caught eight receptions for 58 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown. Tyreek Hill caught four receptions for 80 yards, and Jaylen Waddle caught two receptions for negative four yards and scored a touchdown near the end of the game.
The Dolphins’ offense is starting to find their stride again with Tagovailoa back, but they need to finish key games, especially against divisional opponents. The Dolphins’ offense needs to move on and get focused on their week 10 match-up against the Los Angeles Rams on the road.
Minnesota Vikings: C+
The Vikings’ offense had a somewhat decent Sunday night, as they narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts in a 21-13 battle in prime time. Sam Darnold threw three touchdowns against two interceptions and lost a fumble, Aaron Jones rushed for 64 yards on 21 carries, Justin Jefferson caught seven receptions for 137 yards and threw a pass to Jones, Josh Oliver caught five receptions for 58 yards and scored a touchdown.
Jordan Addison caught five receptions for 42 yards and scored a touchdown, and Jalen Nailor caught a reception for seven yards and scored a touchdown. Sam Darnold started the game slow and sloppy in the first half, but he was able to get a hold of himself and lead this NFL team’s offense to a stronger second half, earning the team victory, which is all that matters in the end.
New England Patriots: D+
The Patriots’ offense had an average afternoon, as they narrowly lost against the Tennessee Titans 17-20 in overtime. Drake Maye threw a touchdown against two interceptions and rushed for 95 yards on the ground. Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 16 yards on 10 carries, scored a rushing touchdown, caught five receptions for 38 yards, and scored the game-tying touchdown to send the game into overtime.
Hunter Henry caught seven receptions for 56 yards, and Kendrick Bourne four receptions for 41 yards. Despite Maye’s performance, the rest of the Patriots’ offense wasn’t able to help him in the painful overtime loss.
New Orleans Saints: C-
The Saints’ offense played a neck-and-neck battle against the Carolina Panthers and heartbreakingly fell 22-23. Derek Carr threw a touchdown against no interception, Alvin Kamara rushed for 155 yards on 29 carries, Taysom Hill rushed for 19 yards on five carries and scored a touchdown, and Foster Moreau caught a reception for 17 yards and scored a touchdown. The Saints’ offense took a massive hit when Chris Olave suffered a concussion during the game and left for a local hospital in Charlotte, NC. Carr and the team drew criticism from former wide receiver Michael Thomas, and Chris Olave’s brother chimed in by posting on X, “Ain’t worth it in NOLA, I’ll tell you that.”
After the game, the Saints fired head coach Dennis Allen and appointed special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi as the interim head coach. Will this help the Saints offensively? We’ll just have to wait and see.
New York Giants: C
The Giants’ offense was able to score touchdowns at home against the Washington Commanders but fell short in their 22-27 loss at home. Daniel Jones threw two touchdown passes against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed for 66 yards on 16 carries, Malik Nabers caught nine receptions for 59 yards, Theo Johnson caught three receptions for 51 yards and scored a touchdown, and Chris Manhertz caught a reception for two yards and scored a touchdown.
A good afternoon for the G-Men as they finally scored some touchdowns in front of their home crowd, but they couldn’t secure the win as they fell to 2-7 on the season so far.
New York Jets: A-
A very nice Thursday night for the Jets’ offense, as they secured a very nice 21-13 win over the Houston Texans on Halloween night at home. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, Breece Hall rushed for 74 yards on 15 carries, Davante Adams caught seven receptions for 91 yards and scored his first touchdown as a Jet, and Garrett Wilson caught nine receptions for 90 yards and scored two touchdowns, which included a touchdown where Wilson looked like the iconic Air Jordan Logo.
A great Thursday night for the Jets’ offense, as they properly clicked in the passing attack and looked good in the rushing attack as they stunned the Texans. Now the Jets have to get prepared for week 10, with a road trip to the desert and square off against the Arizona Cardinals. However, the only blunder the Jets had was Malachi Corley dropping the ball before entering the end zone, similar to what DeSean Jackson did in 2008.
Philadelphia Eagles: A-
The Eagles’ offense had full control of their game in a 28-23 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jalen Hurts threw two touchdown passes against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown. Saquon Barkley rushed for 159 yards on 27 carries, scored a rushing touchdown, caught three receptions for 40 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown, along with having an incredible backward hurdle over cornerback Jarrion Jones, and DeVonta Smith caught four receptions for 87 yards and scored a touchdown.
Barkley looked electric along with Smith, but the Eagles had a scare when A.J. Brown went down with a knee injury, which ended up not being serious, as Brown is currently listed as day-to-day. The Eagles’ offense is going to need all hands on deck when they travel to the Lone Star State for a divisional showdown against the Dallas Cowboys on the road.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Bye Week
The Steelers’ offense looks very sharp, with Russell Wilson leading the way as he has formed a great on-field chemistry with George Pickens and Najee Harris. The Steelers travel to the nation’s capital for a week 10 showdown against the Washington Commanders.
San Francisco 49ers: Bye Week
The 49ers’ offense needed some rest, as they need key guys back in the lineup if they want to stay relevant in the very competitive NFC West. The 49ers travel east for a week 10 showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Seattle Seahawks: C-
The Seahawks tried to put up a fight against their NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, but ended up falling short 20-26 in overtime. Geno Smith threw three touchdowns against three interceptions and was sacked seven times, Kenneth Walker III rushed for 83 yards on 25 yards, Jaxson Smith-Njigba caught seven receptions for 180 yards and scored two touchdowns, and Tyler Lockett caught three receptions for 63 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Seahawks’ offense showed some improvements after their embarrassing week eight loss, but their efforts weren’t enough in the end. Luckily, the Seahawks enter a bye week for week 10 and will return to action in week 11 when they square off against the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B-
The Bucs’ offense played their hearts out in Arrowhead Stadium but should’ve attempted a two-point conversion after Cade Otton scored the touchdown at the tail end of the fourth quarter instead of losing 24-30 in overtime against the Kansas City Chiefs. Baker Mayfield threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Rachaad White rushed for 19 yards on three carries and scored a rushing touchdown, Cade Otton caught eight receptions for 77 yards and scored a touchdown, and Ryan Miller caught a reception for a yard and scored a touchdown.
The Bucs’ rushing attack was held to a combined 95 yards all game, as the Chiefs’ defense is still a formidable unit against the pass rush. This NFL team’s offense returns home and will host the San Francisco 49ers in a week 10 matchup.
Tennessee Titans: C-
The Titans’ offense had an average afternoon, as they defeated the New England Patriots 20-17 in overtime. Mason Rudolph threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Tony Pollard rushed for 128 yards on 28 yards, Calvin Ridley caught five receptions for 73 yards, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught five receptions for 50 yards and scored a touchdown, and Nick Vannett caught two receptions for 33 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Titans’ offense may not be the best unit in the NFL, but Pollard kept the team afloat, and Westbrook-Ikhine is a reliable receiver for the Titans. The Titans’ offense has to get prepared for their week 10 showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on the road.
Washington Commanders: B+
The Commanders’ offense had a nice afternoon on the road, as they snagged a 27-22 victory over the New York Giants. Jayden Daniels threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Austin Ekeler rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries and scored a touchdown, Noah Brown caught five receptions for 60 yards, and Terry McLaurin caught two receptions for 19 yards and scored two touchdowns. A good afternoon for the Commanders as they won a competitive divisional battle against their NFC East foes.
