Some offenses in week seven had great games, especially for tight ends on “National Tight Ends Day” while other offenses just fell flat and had people scratching their heads asking “what happened” and “how did they get here?”
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL Team offenses after week 7 games:
Arizona Cardinals: D (Last week D)
The Cardinals offense has work to do in order to get things back on track since their week three win over the Dallas Cowboys. Joshua Dobbs did not throw a touchdown or interception but scored the team’s only rushing touchdown on the day against Seattle. Emari Demercado rushed for 58 yards on 13 carries, and Marquise Brown caught three receptions for 49 yards. The Cardinals have playmakers who can play offensively, but, ran into a physical defense in the Seahawks in their week seven loss.
Atlanta Falcons: C+ (Last week D+)
The Falcons offensively improved from their week six loss and defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their week seven showdown. Desmond Ridder did not throw any touchdown passes or interceptions but did score a rushing touchdown on the day. Bijan Robinson had one carry for three yards and told reporters he was under the weather while Drake London caught six receptions for 54 yards on the day. The Falcons were bailed out by Younghoe Koo’s three field goals on the day as well as giving them a close win against their division rival.
Baltimore Ravens: A (Last week B)

The Ravens offense took control of the entire game from start to finish and didn’t look back. Lamar Jackson threw three touchdowns and scored a rushing touchdown while Mark Andrews caught four receptions for 63 yards and scored two touchdowns and Nelson Agholor caught one reception for 12 yards and scored a touchdown. The Ravens dominated this game on all fronts and are a potential dark-horse Super Bowl contender!
Buffalo Bills: D+ (Last week B-)
After week six’s game, the Bills were exposed on defense as the Giants were able to hold a halftime lead before the Bills came back. However, that was not the case with week seven’s surprising loss on the road to the struggling New England Patriots. Josh Allen threw two touchdowns against one interception and scored a rushing touchdown while Stefon Diggs and James Cook scored the receiving touchdowns on the day. Cooks also rushed for 56 yards on 13 carries, but the Patriots got the win and stopped a Buffalo comeback- at the very end of the game.
Carolina Panthers: Bye Week (Last week D+)
The Panthers offense is decent and can make plays when needed, but the Panthers’ defense needs to step up and bail out the Panthers offense when opposing teams drop more points.
Chicago Bears: B- (Last week D)
The Bears may not have had Justin Fields leading the team, but they did have reliable backup Tyson Bagent throw one touchdown and no interceptions against a mediocre Raiders team. D’Onta Moore rushed for 89 yards on 16 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns on the day as well as caught three receptions for 31 yards and scored a receiving touchdown. DJ Moore caught eight receptions for 54 yards on the day. The Bear’s offense can play, but it is their offensive line that can hold them back at times. Put the Bears up against an average to mediocre team and they can potentially have success.
Cincinnati Bengals: Bye Week (Last week B+)
The Bengals offense led by Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase playing well shows the league that the Bengals can play and compete and be a potential dark-horse team in the playoffs if they continue playing like they did in week six.
Cleveland Browns: C (Last week C)
Even though the Browns got the win in a wild back-and-forth game against the Indianapolis Colts, DeShaun Watson exited the game with a concussion, and PJ Walker was handed the keys to the offense. Walker and Watson threw one interception each but the Browns running game helped bail the Browns out. Jerome Ford rushed for 74 yards on 11 carries and scored a rushing touchdown and Kareem Hunt rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns on the day. The Browns can be a bit of a mess at times, but when it comes to getting wins, that’s all that matters for the Dawg Pound!
Dallas Cowboys: Bye Week (Last week B-)
Dak Prescott and company need to keep playing like they did in their week six victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Denver Broncos: C+ (Last week F)
It was a slightly better day for the Broncos than they’re performance in week six. Russell Wilson threw one touchdown and had no interceptions while Courtland Sutton caught six receptions for 76 yards and scored the Broncos’ only offensive touchdown of the day. Will Lutz was a perfect four-for-four on field goals on the day and the Broncos rushing game had 145 rushing yards combined. It was a good day for Denver and they earned the win for the week.
Detroit Lions: D- (Last week B-)
After an explosive few weeks, the Lion’s offense was tamed in Baltimore. Jared Goff threw one interception while Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 68 yards on 11 carries and scored the Lion’s lone touchdown on the day. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 13 receptions for 102 yards on the day. Detroit has serious playmakers on the field, but they ran into a dark-horse Super Bowl contender that can potentially make noise in the playoffs. Expect the Lions to be fine and rebound from this loss in the following weeks of the season.
Green Bay Packers: C- (Last week Bye Week)
It was an average to mediocre game for the Packers offense. Jordan Love threw two touchdowns against one interception while Romeo Dobbs and Jayden Reed scored the receiving touchdowns for the Pack. Christian Watson only caught three receptions for 27 yards during the whole game. It was an okay game for the Pack who should’ve performed much better than they did.
Houston Texans: Bye Week (Last week B-)
The Texan’s young offense is a great unit that will potentially be a strong playoff team and potentially be a threat to the Jacksonville Jaguars who want to claim the AFC South title.
Indianapolis Colts: C- (Last week D)
The Colts stepped up after a rough performance in week six. Gardner Minshew threw two touchdowns against one interception and scored two rushing touchdowns against Cleveland in the offensive effort. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 75 rushing yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown. Josh Downs and Michael Pitman Jr. both scored the receiving touchdowns for Indy despite the gut-wrenching 39-38 loss to Cleveland. The Colts got unlucky with the score but can play in tough situations.
Jacksonville Jaguars: B (Last week B)
The Jaguars’ offense struck gold in the first half and didn’t hold anything back against the Saint’s defense. Trevor Lawrence threw one touchdown and no interceptions while Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 53 yards on 14 carries and scored two touchdowns. Christian Kirk caught six receptions for 90 yards and scored one touchdown in the second half to ice the game for Jacksonville. This Jaguars team has a strong offense on their hands that has the power to conquer the AFC South depending on how everyone finishes this season.
Kansas City Chiefs: A (Last week B)
It was business as usual for the Kansas City Chiefs offense as Patrick Mahomes had four touchdowns against one interception while Travis Kelce (with Taylor Swift in attendance) had 12 receptions for 179 yards and scored a touchdown, Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught three receptions for 84 yards and scored a touchdown. Rashee Rice and Isiah Pacheco also scored receiving touchdowns in the Chiefs’ week seven victory over the LA Chargers. This offense is once again showing the league why they are the best this season and why they can potentially win the Super Bowl again.
Las Vegas Raiders: D- (Last week C)
The Raiders’ offense fell flat with Brian Hoyer leading the Silver and Black on the road. Aside from his two interceptions, he was relieved for Aidan O’Connell who threw a touchdown pass to Jakobi Meyers in the endzone. Meyers caught seven receptions for 50 yards and scored the lone receiving touchdown for Vegas. The Raiders’ rushing game was held to 39 rushing yards with Josh Jacobs rushing for 35 yards on 11 carries. The Raiders showed up as only an average team or sadly even a mediocre team for the 2023 season.
Los Angeles Chargers: C- (Last week Bye-week)
The Chargers did not have their best game offensively, but things could’ve played out a lot worse in Arrowhead Stadium. Justin Herbert threw one touchdown against two interceptions, Joshua Kelly rushed for 75 yards on seven carries and scored a touchdown, and Gerald Everett caught three receptions for 26 yards and scored a touchdown. The Chargers are looking blander and weaker on offense, as the weeks tick by. They need to make some serious adjustments if they are to stay relevant in the AFC West.
Los Angeles Rams: C- (Last week B-)
The LA Rams offense got shut down with an average performance in their week seven game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Matthew Stafford threw one touchdown against one interception all game while Puka Nacua caught eight receptions for 154 yards, and Tutu Atwell caught one reception for 31 yards and scored a touchdown. On the ground, Darrell Henderson Jr. rushed for 61 yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown. The Rams need to step it up on offense if they want to be a relevant force like they were in their Super Bowl 56 run!
Miami Dolphins: C+ (Last week A)
The Dolphins offense played a decent game on the road in Philadelphia but it wasn’t enough to hold the Eagles from flying to victory. Tua Tagovailoa threw one touchdown against one interception while Tyreek Hill caught 11 receptions for 88 yards and scored one receiving touchdown. The Dolphins ground game was also held to 45 rushing yards all game against Philadelphia. The Dolphins offense, as a whole, needs to improve their run game on the road in hostile territory or opposing defenses will contain them to very few rushing yards.
Minnesota Vikings: B+ (Last week C+)
The Vikings offense made a statement in their week seven Monday Night Football victory over the heavily favored San Francisco 49ers. Kirk Cousins threw two touchdowns against one interception and the Vikings rushing attack had 74 rushing yards all game. On the receiving end, Jordan Addison caught seven receptions for 123 yards and scored two touchdowns on the night. The Viking’s offense is starting to wake up and wants to be a relevant team in the NFC North.
New England Patriots: C+ (Last week D)
The Patriots’ offense surprised many as they played physically and aggressively against the Bills. Mac Jones threw two touchdowns and no interceptions. Kendrick Bourne and Mike Gesicki caught two touchdown receptions during the game and Ezekiel Elliot scored a rushing touchdown. The Patriots struggled during their weeks four, five, and six games with week seven proving to be their “lucky seven” charm. This was a breath of fresh air for a team that struggled all season long and got a rare win against a fierce divisional rival.
New Orleans Saints: C- (Last week C-)
The Saints may have scored a couple of field goals in the first half, but attempted a second-half comeback in their week seven 31-24 loss to Jacksonville. Derek Carr threw one touchdown and interception all game while Taysom Hill scored a rushing touchdown with 18 rushing yards on five attempts, and Michael Thomas caught three receptions for 42 yards and scored a touchdown. The Saint’s offense played well but came up short, in this contest. The NFC South is still wide open for anyone to take it with week seven in the books.
New York Giants: C (Last week D)
The Giant’s offense had a decent game where they took the victory over the Commanders, at home, in week seven. Tyrod Taylor threw two touchdowns and no interceptions in the 14-7 victory while Saquan Barkley rushed for 77 yards on 21 carries, lost a fumble, caught three receptions for 41 yards, and scored a receiving touchdown. Darren Waller caught seven receptions for 98 yards and scored a touchdown. The Giants may have one of the worst offensive lines in the league, but they can play offense and get wins against mediocre to above-average teams, as week seven proved.
New York Jets: Bye Week (Last week C+)
Zach Wilson may not be the best backup quarterback in the league, but he can be a good replacement game manager with all of the offensive pieces around him in Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall leading the way.
Philadelphia Eagles: A- (Last week D+)
The Eagle’s offense was a firehose, at home in their awesome Kelly-Green jerseys, as they soaked the Miami Dolphins. Jalen Hurts threw two touchdowns against one interception and scored a rushing touchdown while Kenneth Gainwell rushed for 16 yards on eight carries and scored a rushing touchdown. A.J. Brown had an impressive night as he caught 10 receptions for 137 yards and scored a touchdown and Dallas Goedert caught five receptions for 77 yards and scored a touchdown. The Eagle’s offense is back, after dropping their week six game to the New York Jets, and looking to continue igniting their offensive fire in the coming weeks.
Pittsburgh Steelers: C+ (Last week Bye Week)
Offensively, the Steelers are only okay. It is their defense that is the heart and soul of the Steel City. Kenny Pickett did not throw any touchdowns or interceptions on the day but did score a rushing touchdown. The Steelers rushing game did all of the damage on the field by scoring three touchdowns on the day. The Steeler’s offense has a capable running back, in Najee Harris, who can be a force in the trenches.
San Francisco 49ers: D+ (Last week C-)
It was not a good night for the San Francisco 49ers’ on the road for a second straight week as they fell 17-22 in a week seven Monday Night loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Brock Purdy threw one touchdown against two interceptions while Christian McCaffrey rushed for 45 yards on 15 carries, scored a rushing touchdown, and caught three receptions for 51 yards and scored a receiving touchdown. It was a bad night offensively for San Francisco and they need to turn things around quickly in order to maintain control of the NFC West, otherwise, teams like the LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks will pass them by.
Seattle Seahawks: B- (Last week D)
The Seahawks offense came back to form at home against division rival, the Arizona Cardinals. Geno Smith threw two touchdowns against one interception, Kenneth Walker III had 105 rushing yards on 26 carries, Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught four receptions for 63 yards and scored one touchdown, and Jake Bobo caught four receptions for 61 yards and scored one touchdown. The Seahawks can play a good game offensively with Geno Smith and head coach Pete Carroll leading the way for this team to be a potential wildcard playoff team. They just need to continue playing like this week seven team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C- (Last week D-)
The Bucs’ offense played a lot better in their week seven loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Baker Mayfield threw one touchdown against one interception while the Bucs rushing game rushed for 73 yards on the ground. Mike Evans caught six receptions for 82 yards and scored the only touchdown for Tampa, and Chase McLaughlin kicked two field goals on the day. The Bucs can play a good game offensively, but the NFC South is wide open conference which can be taken by anyone at this point in the season!
Tennessee Titans: Bye Week (Last week D+)
The Titans offense needs to improve in the coming weeks after a tough week six loss across the pond in London to the Baltimore Ravens.
Washington Commanders: D+ (Last week B)
The Commanders took a massive step back in their week seven 14-7 loss to the New York Giants. Sam Howell threw one interception while the rushing game for the Commanders was held to 76 yards. Saquan Barkley had 77 rushing yards in comparison. However, Brian Robinson Jr. scored the only touchdown on the day for Washington along with 23 rushing yards on eight carries. The Commander’s offensive line is showing signs of weakness similar to the Giant’s offensive line and that can lead to problems for Washington in the weeks to come unless they address that issue and fix it before the season gets away from them.
