Week four saw some offenses take a slight step back after a strong week three, while other offenses are on the rise in the NFL.
Week four also showed us some impressive offensive performances from some teams looking to make strong statements, messaging the rest of the league on why they should be taken seriously as this wild rollercoaster ride of the 2024 season continues.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ offenses after week four.
Which teams had the best offense in the entire NFL after week four?
Arizona Cardinals: D
The Cardinals’ offense had a tough afternoon, as they were smoked by the Washington Commanders 14-42. Kyler Murray threw a touchdown against no interceptions but was sacked four times. James Conner rushed for 104 yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown, and Marvin Harrison Jr. caught five receptions for 45 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Commanders’ defense played aggressively and kept the Cardinals out of the end zone in the second and fourth quarters of the game. On top of that, Michael Wilson lost a fumble for the Red Birds. The Cardinals’ offense needs to regroup and turn things around in their week five matchup on the road against the San Francisco 49ers.
Atlanta Falcons: C+

Despite not scoring a touchdown on offense, the Falcons played a fair game and secured the 26-24 win over the New Orleans Saints. Kirk Cousins threw an interception against no touchdowns and was sacked once. Bijan Robinson rushed for 28 yards on seven carries, while Tyler Allgeier rushed for 60 yards on eight carries, and Drake London caught six receptions for 64 yards.
The offense played fairly, although special teams and defense outshined them with a special teams touchdown from KhaDarel Hodge and a pick-six from Troy Andersen.
Baltimore Ravens: A-
The Ravens’ offense had a great Sunday night as they defeated the Buffalo Bills 35-10. Lamar Jackson threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown. Derrick Henry went off again and rushed for 199 yards on 24 carries, scored an 87-yard rushing touchdown, caught three receptions for 10 yards, scored a receiving touchdown, and Justice Hill caught six receptions for 78 yards and scored a touchdown.
The only thing the Ravens need to work on is to get their wide receivers and tight ends more involved in the passing game. Regardless, the Ravens’ offense with Derrick Henry looks fierce and should strike fear in opposing defenses moving forward.
Buffalo Bills: C
The Bills’ offense was brought back down to earth as they were defeated by the Baltimore Ravens 10-35. Josh Allen didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions, James Cook rushed for 39 yards on nine carries, Ty Johnson rushed for three yards on one carry and scored the Bills’ only touchdown of the night, and Khalil Shakir caught four receptions for 62 yards.
The Bills’ offense needs to regroup and get focused for their week five matchup against the Houston Texans on the road.
Carolina Panthers: B
Despite losing a very tough 24-34 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Panthers’ offense played well, similar to the Bengals’ offense during their recent NFL game. Andy Dalton threw two touchdowns against an interception, Chubba Hubbard rushed for 104 yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown, Dionte Johnson caught seven receptions for 83 yards and scored a touchdown, and Xavier Legette caught six receptions for 66 yards and scored a touchdown.
Despite coming up short by a touchdown and a field goal in the end, Dalton is commanding the Panthers’ offense very well and should be able to help the team earn their second win of the 2024 season.
Chicago Bears: B+
The Bears’ offense had a very nice rebound game in their 24-18 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Caleb Williams threw a touchdown against no interceptions, D’Andre Swift came ready to roll as he rushed for 93 yards on 16 carries, scored a touchdown, and caught seven receptions for 72 yards, Roshon Johnson rushed for 26 yards on seven carries and scored a touchdown, and DJ Moore caught three receptions for 22 yards and scored a touchdown.
A nice afternoon for the Bears. Swift had a very strong rebound game after having three quiet weeks to begin the season. Hopefully, the Bears’ offense can keep this momentum moving forward.
Cincinnati Bengals: B
The Bengals’ offense had a very nice afternoon as they played similarly to the Carolina Panthers’ offense in their 34-24 win over the Panthers. Joe Burrow threw two touchdowns against one interception, Chase Brown rushed for 80 yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns, Zack Moss rushed for 51 yards on 15 carries, caught four receptions for 21 yards, and scored a touchdown, and Ja’Marr Chase caught three receptions for 85 yards and scored a 63-yard touchdown.
The Bengals’ offense played very well and earned their first win of the NFL season in style, and now they have to get focused for their week five matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
Cleveland Browns: C-
The Browns’ offense played fairly but lost the game in the final seconds of the game with a final score of 16-20 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Deshaun Watson threw a touchdown against an interception and was sacked three times, Jerome Ford rushed for 58 yards on 10 carries, Jerry Jeudy caught six receptions for 72 yards, and Blake Whitehead caught three receptions for 13 yards and scored a touchdown.
The moment that sealed the deal for the Browns’ offense was Deshaun Watson getting sacked near the red zone with 41 seconds left in the game, giving the Raiders the win.
Dallas Cowboys: B
The Cowboys’ offense had a good bounce-back game as they defeated the New York Giants 20-15. Dak Prescott threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Rico Dowdle rushed for 46 yards on 11 carries, caught one reception for 15 yards, and scored a touchdown, and CeeDee Lamb caught seven receptions for 98 yards and scored a touchdown.
A nice win for the Cowboys’ offense, who failed an attempted comeback against the Baltimore Ravens in week three and look to continue fighting for control of the NFC East.
Denver Broncos: C+
Despite a very close and quiet game for the majority of the afternoon, the Broncos’ offense left MetLife Stadium with a 10-9 victory over the New York Jets. Bo Nix threw a touchdown against no interceptions and wasn’t sacked all game, Javonte Williams rushed for 77 yards on 16 carries, and Courtland Sutton caught three receptions for 60 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Broncos’ offense started slowly, but they came to life in the second half and showed their competitive spark in a statement win over the Jets.
Detroit Lions: A
The Lions’ offense put on a memorable show as they defeated the Seattle Seahawks 42-29 in a very hard-fought battle. Jared Goff threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and caught a touchdown pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown as they replicated the famous “Philly Special” trick play from Super Bowl 52. Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 78 yards on 14 carries and scored two touchdowns, David Montgomery rushed for 40 yards on 12 carries and scored a touchdown, Jameson Williams caught two receptions for 80 yards and scored a 70-yard touchdown, and St. Brown caught six receptions for 45 yards and scored a touchdown.
An incredible showcasing by the Lions’ offense as they showed the world they’re ready to retake the NFC North division from the surprise Minnesota Vikings when they eventually clash.
Green Bay Packers: B-
The Packers’ offense had a rough start, even though they slightly turned things around in the second half of their 29-31 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in their recent clash this NFL season. Jordan Love threw four touchdowns against three interceptions, Josh Jacobs rushed for 51 yards on nine carries, Jayden Reed caught seven receptions for 139 yards and scored a touchdown, Dontavyion Wicks caught five receptions for 78 yards and scored two touchdowns, and Tucker Kraft caught six receptions for 53 yards and scored a touchdown.
It’s never fun losing games, but it stings after a strong comeback push like the Packers’ attempted, only to be foiled by the Vikings.
Houston Texans: B
The Texans’ offense had a good afternoon as they rebounded from their painful week three loss and earned the 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. C.J. Stroud threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Cam Akers rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries, Stefon Diggs rushed for six yards on one carry, scored his first rushing touchdown, and caught five receptions for 69 yards, Nico Collins caught 12 receptions for 151 yards and scored a touchdown, and Dare Ogunbowale caught four receptions for 47 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Texans’ offense needed this rebound win as they stay on top of the AFC South and look to maintain control of the conference this 2024 NFL season. Now, they can get ready to host the Buffalo Bills in week five.
Indianapolis Colts: B+
The Colts’ offense got to work as they ended the Steelers’ undefeated season in a 27-24 victory. Anthony Richardson started the game off okay but suffered a hip injury, forcing Joe Flacco into action. Flacco threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Jonathan Taylor rushed for 88 yards on 21 carries and scored a touchdown, Josh Downs caught eight receptions for 82 yards and scored a touchdown, and Drew Ogletree caught one reception for 15 yards and scored a touchdown.
It sucks to lose Richardson to a hip injury. It certainly must give Colts fans flashbacks to Richardson’s 2023 season being cut short with shoulder surgery. However, Flacco is still serviceable, as he led the Colts’ offense to victory.
Jacksonville Jaguars: B-
Despite playing a good game and having the lead for a majority during their NFL clash, the Jaguars’ offense shot themselves in the foot, and the Houston Texans took advantage and ended up with the victory, leaving the Jaguars with the loss, 20-24. Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Tank Bigsby rushed for 90 yards on seven carries, Brian Thomas Jr. caught six receptions for 86 yards and scored a touchdown, and Christian Kirk caught seven receptions for 61 yards and scored a touchdown.
Despite a good bounce-back performance by the Jaguars, they couldn’t get the win and fell to 0-4 on the season. The Jaguars need to regroup and get prepared for their week five matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
Kansas City Chiefs: B
The Chiefs’ offense started their week four matchup silent until the start of the second quarter. Once they started to power up, they did not take their foot off the gas and defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 17-10. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown against an interception, Kareem Hunt rushed for 69 yards on 14 carries, Samaje Perine rushed for 14 yards on five carries and scored a touchdown, Travis Kelce returned to form as he caught seven receptions for 89 yards, and Xavier Worthy caught three receptions for 73 yards and scored a touchdown.
However, the Chiefs’ offense took a massive hit as Rashee Rice suffered a knee injury, and the team is fearing it could be a torn ACL and he’ll be lost for the rest of this NFL season. If Rice is out long-term, Worthy and the other Chiefs’ receivers will need to step it up.
Las Vegas Raiders: B-
The Raiders’ offense played fair and rebounded from their week three loss with a good 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns. Gardner Minshew didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions, Alexander Mattison rushed for 60 yards on five carries, Zamir White rushed for 50 yards on 17 carries but lost a fumble, DJ Turner rushed for 18 yards on one carry and scored a touchdown, Tre Tucker rushed for three yards on a carry and scored a touchdown, and Jakobi Meyers caught five receptions for 49 yards.
Not the worst day for the Raiders’ offense, which didn’t have Davante Adams, who is recovering from a hamstring injury. They were able to survive and earn a well-needed win.
Los Angeles Chargers: D+
The Chargers’ offense started the game well, as they were up 10-0 at the end of the first quarter, but the lead evaporated as the Kansas City Chiefs came back and defeated the Chargers 10-17. Justin Herbert threw a touchdown against no interceptions but was sacked twice. The Chargers’ rushing attack was held to 55 yards all game, with J.K. Dobbins rushing for 32 yards on four carries, and Ladd McConkey caught five receptions for 67 yards and scored a touchdown.
The Chargers’ offense needs to make those key first downs and up the running game against tougher opponents. Luckily for the Chargers, they enter a bye for week five, so they can regroup and get fresh for their week six matchup against the Denver Broncos on the road.
Los Angeles Rams: D+
The banged-up Rams’ offense had a rough afternoon in the Windy City, as they lost 18-24 to the Chicago Bears. Matthew Stafford threw an interception against no touchdowns, Kyren Williams rushed for 94 yards on 19 carries and scored a touchdown, and Tutu Atwell caught four receptions for 82 yards.
Life without Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua is truly felt all around the roster, as the team struggled without them in the lineup. Hopefully, they recover and help the Rams rebound.
Miami Dolphins: D-
The Dolphins’ offense struggled under the lights once again as they lost a very sloppy 12-31 battle against the Tennessee Titans at home. Tyler Huntley threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 40 yards on eight carries, and scored a touchdown. Jaylen Wright rushed for 32 yards on nine carries, and Jaylen Waddle caught four receptions for 36 yards.
A very brutal Monday night for the Dolphins as life without Tua Tagovailoa is continuing to sting the team.
Minnesota Vikings: A-
The Vikings’ offense went to work as they dominated the Green Bay Packers in the first half but didn’t score any touchdowns in the second half, yet won the game thanks to a Will Reichard field goal, securing the 31-29 victory in the fourth quarter.
Sam Darnold threw three touchdowns against an interception, Aaron Jones rushed for 93 yards on 22 carries, Jordan Addison had three receptions for 72 yards, scored a touchdown, rushed for seven yards on one reception, and scored a touchdown, Justin Jefferson caught six receptions for 85 yards and scored a touchdown, and Josh Oliver caught two receptions for 10 yards and scored a touchdown. The Vikings’ offense played very strong as they maintained control of the NFC North.
New England Patriots: D
The Patriots offense had a rough afternoon on the West Coast as they were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers 30-13. Jacoby Brissett threw a touchdown against an interception and was sacked six times, Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 43 yards on 13 carries, and Austin Hooper caught two receptions for 13 yards and scored the only touchdown for the Patriots all afternoon. It was a painful loss for the Patriots’ offense in this past week of NFL games. They have a lot more work ahead of them as they get set for their week five matchup at home against the Miami Dolphins.
New Orleans Saints: C-
The Saints’ offense tried their best but fell just short against their NFC South foes, the Atlanta Falcons, in a 24-26 loss. Derek Carr threw an interception against no touchdowns and was sacked once, Alvin Kamara rushed for 77 yards on 19 carries and scored a rushing touchdown, and Taysom Hill rushed for 24 yards on six carries and scored two rushing touchdowns despite leaving the game with a rib injury.
Chris Olave caught eight receptions for 87 yards, and Rashid Shaheed caught eight receptions for 83 yards. A good afternoon for the Saints, although it would’ve been better if Derek Carr threw a touchdown pass in the divisional showdown.
New York Giants: D
The Giants’ offense had a painful Thursday night as they fell 15-20 to the Dallas Cowboys. Daniel Jones threw an interception against no touchdowns, Devin Singletary rushed for 24 yards on 14 carries, and Malik Nabers caught 12 yards on 115 yards before leaving the game with a concussion.
Kicker Greg Joseph scored five field goals for the Giants while the rest of the offense struggled throughout the game, as they were kept out of the end zone all night.
New York Jets: D
The Jets’ offense had a massive step back as they were stunned at home 9-10 by the Denver Broncos. Aaron Rodgers threw no touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked five times, Braleon Allen rushed for 34 yards on eight carries, and Mike Williams caught four receptions for 67 yards. It was just a sloppy performance by Gang Green.
They have to move past this loss, and fast, as they get set for their road trip abroad to London and square off against the Minnesota Vikings in week five.
Philadelphia Eagles: D
The Eagles’ offense had a very rough afternoon as their wildcard revenge game was foiled in a 16-33 loss. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass against no interceptions, and he scored a rushing touchdown. Saquon Barkley rushed for 84 yards on 10 carries, Dallas Goedert caught seven receptions for 62 yards, and Parris Campbell caught four receptions for 17 yards and scored a touchdown.
A very painful afternoon for the Eagles’ offense, which is missing both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, as they continue to recover from a hamstring injury and a concussion, respectively.
Pittsburgh Steelers: B-
Despite the Steelers’ comeback attempt, they ended up losing to the Indianapolis Colts 24-27. Justin Fields scored a rushing touchdown and led the team in rushing yards with 55 yards on 10 carries, scoring two rushing touchdowns. Najee Harris rushed for a mere 19 yards on 13 carries, Pat Freiermuth caught five receptions for 57 yards and scored a touchdown, and George Pickens caught seven receptions for 113 yards.
Despite the Steelers’ offensive efforts in their comeback attempt, a very close loss is painful as the team regroups and heads home for their Sunday night showdown against the Dallas Cowboys in week five.
San Francisco 49ers: B+
The 49ers’ offense had a very nice rebound win as they defeated the New England Patriots 30-13 in dominating fashion. Brock Purdy threw a touchdown against an interception, Jordan Mason rushed for 123 yards on 24 yards and scored a touchdown, Jauan Jennings caught three receptions for 88 yards, and George Kittle caught four receptions for 45 yards and scored a touchdown. A very nice afternoon for the 49ers’ offense as they look to get back on track, secure more wins this NFL season, and retake control of the NFC West.
Seattle Seahawks: C+
Despite losing a tough Monday night thriller 29-42 against the Detroit Lions, the Seahawks’ offense played their hearts out. Geno Smith threw a touchdown against an interception, Kenneth Walker III, fully recovered from his oblique injury, rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries and scored three touchdowns, DK Metcalf caught seven receptions for 104 yards, and AJ Barner caught two receptions for 27 yards and scored a touchdown.
A strong effort by the Seahawks’ offense, even though there were things this NFL team should’ve done better in. All the Seahawks can do is regroup and get set for their week five matchup against the New York Giants back home.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B+
The Buccaneers’ offense foiled the Philadelphia Eagles’ chance at revenge in their 33-16 victory at home. Baker Mayfield threw two touchdown passes and scored a rushing touchdown, Bucky Irving rushed for 49 yards on 10 carries and scored a rushing touchdown, Mike Evans caught eight receptions for 94 yards, and Trey Palmer caught three receptions for 24 yards.
It was a great afternoon for the Bucs’ offense as they avenged their week three loss with an outstanding victory over the Eagles.
Tennessee Titans: D+
The Titans’ offense played sloppy even though they secured the 31-12 win over the Miami Dolphins in South Beach. Will Levis threw an interception against no touchdowns but left the game with a shoulder injury. Mason Rudolph took over and threw no touchdowns or interceptions. Tony Pollard rushed for 88 yards on 22 carries and scored a touchdown, Tyjae Spears rushed for 39 yards on 15 carries and scored a touchdown, and DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd both caught two receptions for 31 yards.
A brutal night for the Titans as they escaped South Beach with their first win of the 2024 season, which is all that matters at the end of the night.
Washington Commanders: A-
The Commanders’ offense went off as they demolished the Arizona Cardinals 42-14. Jayden Daniels threw a touchdown against an interception, rushed for 47 yards on eight carries, and scored a rushing touchdown. Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 101 yards on 21 carries and scored a touchdown; Jeremy McNichols rushed for 68 yards on eight carries and scored two rushing touchdowns; and Terry McLaurin caught seven receptions for 52 yards and scored a touchdown.
If the Commanders’ offense continues to play this aggressively, they can potentially win the NFC East. It also helped the Commanders that Kliff Kingsbury (who used to coach the Cardinals from 2019 until 2022) is their offensive coordinator, who also deserves a lot of credit for the Commanders’ massive victory.
