Week 18 saw some excellent production from NFL team’s main offensive and some of their backups filling in while the starters rest for the playoffs did an excellent job on the field as they got well needed victories or punched their tickets into the playoffs. Other offenses struggled to do much of anything during the final week of the regular season as question marks arise over certain offensive units on what moves they’ll make during the 2024 NFL offseason.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL Team offenses after week 18 games:
Arizona Cardinals: C+ (Last week B+)
The Cardinals’ offense played well despite losing 20-21 to the Seattle Seahawks via a missed Matt Prater field goal. Kyler Murray threw a touchdown with no interceptions. James Conner rushed for 150 yards on 27 carries and scored a touchdown. Trey McBride caught three receptions for 34 yards and scored a touchdown while Michael Wilson caught six receptions for 95 yards. A very productive day from Conner on the ground, but Murray needs more talented wide receivers and tight ends to work with in the 2024 season, if the Cardinals want to be relevant again.
Atlanta Falcons: D+ (Last week D)
The Falcons’ offense had a tough Sunday afternoon as they lost to the New Orleans Saints 17-48. Desmond Ridder threw two touchdowns against one interception and Logan Woodside threw an interception and was sacked once. Bijan Robinson was the Falcons’ leading rusher with 28 yards on 11 carries and caught seven receptions for 103 yards and scored a touchdown. Jonnu Smith caught three receptions for 29 yards and scored a touchdown while Scott Miller caught two receptions for 66 yards. Although Robinson had a very productive afternoon, the rest of the Falcons’ offense fell flat, in their regular season finale.
Baltimore Ravens: C+ (Last week A+)

The Ravens’ offense without Lamar Jackson (who was benched for rest for the upcoming AFC Divisional Round) played all right, as they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 10-17. Tyler Huntley threw a touchdown against no interceptions but was sacked four times. Gus Edwards rushed for 48 yards on 10 carries, Nelson Agholor caught five receptions for 39 yards, and Isaiah Likely caught two receptions for 31 yards and scored a touchdown in the second quarter. A good number of the Ravens’ starters didn’t play, as they rested up for the upcoming AFC Divisional round of the playoffs, but the backups did what they could against the Steelers.
Buffalo Bills: C+ (Last week C+)
It wasn’t the prettiest victory, but the Bills’ offense secured the AFC East crown with the 21-14 win over the Miami Dolphins. Josh Allen threw two touchdowns against two interceptions and rushed for 67 yards on 15 carries while James Cook rushed for 36 yards on 13 carries. Trent Sherfield caught three receptions for 24 yards and scored a touchdown, Dawson Knows caught two receptions for 22 yards and scored a touchdown, Khalil Shakir caught six receptions for 105 yards and scored a touchdown, and Stefon Diggs caught seven receptions for 87 yards. The Bills’ offense is battle-tested and ready for the playoffs, as they focus on their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Carolina Panthers: F (Last week F)
It was a rough afternoon for the Panthers’ offense. They were shut out 0-9, in their final regular season game, to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bryce Young threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked three times and lost a fumble. Chuba Hubbard rushed for 83 yards on 23 carries and DJ Chark Jr. caught two receptions for 46 yards. This was not a very productive season ending day for the Panthers. They have a long rebuild ahead of them for the upcoming 2024 season, if they want Young to be their quarterback, moving forward.
Chicago Bears: D (Last week B-)
The Bears’ offense had a rough afternoon, as they were dominated by the Green Bay Packers 9-17. Justin Fields didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked five times. Khalil Herbert rushed for 28 yards on 12 carries while DJ Moore caught four receptions for 64 yards. Cairo Santos gave the Bears their only points of the game, with three kicked field goals. The Bears begin the 2024 offseason with some looming questions. Should they keep Fields or not, as well as what to do with D’Onta Foreman, as he is set to become a free agent? Only time will tell what the Bears will do. Whichever direction they choose, they need to improve their offense.
Cincinnati Bengals: B (Last week C)
The Bengals’ offense played a good game, as they defeated the Cleveland Browns 31-14 to secure their first divisional win of the season, and finish the season on a positive note. Jake Browning threw three touchdowns against one interception. Joe Mixon had a strong day on the ground as he rushed for 111 yards on 14 carries and scored a rushing touchdown and caught one reception for six yards and scored a receiving touchdown while Andrei Losivas caught five receptions for 36 yards and scored two touchdowns. Joe Mixon had a great day on the field. He was the heart and soul of the Bengals’ offense, in their victory against their in-state rivals.
Cleveland Browns: C (Last week B+)
The Browns’ offense rested their starters, as they fell to the Cincinnati Bengals 14-31. Jeff Driskel (taking over for Joe Flacco) threw two touchdowns against two interceptions. Pierre Strong Jr. rushed for 65 yards on 14 carries and David Bell caught four receptions for 68 yards and scored two touchdowns. A somewhat decent afternoon, even without the win, as they get themselves prepared for their playoff matchup against the Houston Texans.
Dallas Cowboys: B+ (Last week B)
The Cowboys’ offense played strong as they stomped the Washington Commanders 38-10. Dak Prescott threw four touchdowns against an interception. Tony Pollard rushed for 70 yards and scored a touchdown. CeeDee Lamb caught 13 receptions for 98 yards and scored two touchdowns. Brandin Cooks caught six receptions for 39 yards and scored a touchdown, and Jalen Tolbert caught two receptions for eight yards and scored a touchdown. The Cowboys’ offense played strong, but could’ve rested their starters for the playoffs. This decision may hurt them, but they also can make a strong playoff push, depending on what happens against the Green Bay Packers.
Denver Broncos: D (Last week C-)
The Broncos’ offense had a tough showing in their season finale 14-27 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Jarrett Stidham threw a touchdown against an interception, but was sacked five times. Javonte Williams rushed for 32 yards on nine carries and scored a touchdown and Jerry Jeudy caught three receptions for 79 yards and scored a touchdown while Brandon Johnson caught four receptions for 88 yards. The Broncos’ offense needs a new quarterback if they do move on from Russell Wilson. Stidham just has not been able to step up as the legitimate answer moving forward into the 2024 season.
Detroit Lions: B+ (Last week C-)
It was a strong showing for the Lions’ offense, as they defeated the Minnesota Vikings 30-20. Jared Goff threw two touchdowns against no interceptions. David Montgomery rushed for 40 yards on 10 carries and scored a rushing touchdown and Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 30 yards on 13 carries and scored a touchdown. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught seven receptions for 144 yards and scored a touchdown and Sam LaPorta caught five receptions for 29 yards and scored a touchdown. The Lions’ offense dominated the Vikings, as they get themselves prepared for the upcoming playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams.
Green Bay Packers: B+ (Last week B+)
The Packers offense had another strong showing, as they defeated the Chicago Bears with ease in a 17-9 victory and clinched a wildcard spot in the playoffs. Jordan Love threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked once. Aaron Jones rushed for 111 yards on 22 carries. Jayden Reed caught four receptions for 112 yards while Dontayioun Wicks caught six receptions for 61 yards and scored two touchdowns. The Packers’ offense finished the 2023 regular season strong, as they prepare themselves for a wildcard matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
Houston Texans: B+ (Last week C+)
The Texans’ offense played a strong battle against the Indianapolis Colts in their playoff and AFC South, clinching a 23-19 victory. C.J. Stroud threw two touchdowns against zero interceptions but was sacked twice. Devin Singletary rushed for 63 yards on 24 carries and scored a touchdown. Nico Collins caught nine receptions for 195 yards and scored a touchdown and Andrew Beck caught two receptions for nine yards and scored a touchdown. The Texans’ offense has good playmakers, as they march their way into the playoffs and prepare themselves for a possible run toward the Super Bowl.
Indianapolis Colts: D (Last week B-)
The Colts’ offense fell flat, as their playoff hopes disappeared in their 19-23 loss to the Houston Texans. Gardner Minshew threw no touchdowns or interceptions on the night as he threw some bad incompletions. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 188 yards on 30 carries and scored the only touchdown for the Colts. Josh Downs caught three receptions for 48 yards and Michael Pittman Jr. caught five receptions for 44 yards. The Colts’ offense had a tough night, but can look forward to having Anthony Richardson return to action, for a better 2024 season.
Jacksonville Jaguars: C- (Last week B-)
The Jaguars’ offense played all right, but fell short 20-28 to the Tennessee Titans and securing a playoff spot. Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdowns against two interceptions and wasn’t sacked at all. Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 57 yards on 16 carries on the day. Calvin Ridley caught six receptions for 106 yards and scored a touchdown while Evan Engram caught 10 receptions for 79 yards and scored a touchdown. With Ridley set to become a free agent, the Jaguars need to do whatever they can to keep him around or find another big-name wide receiver or tight end and secure the roster for the 2024 season.
Kansas City Chiefs: D+ (Last week C)
The Chiefs’ offense rested their starters for upcoming playoffs, as the backups narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 13-12. Blaine Gabbert threw an interception against no touchdowns on the afternoon. La’Micai Perine rushed for 76 yards on 21 carries and Mecole Hardman Jr. caught six receptions for 77 yards. The backups played well, but didn’t score a touchdown, at all. The only touchdown the Chiefs scored was from a Mike Edwards fumble recovery on defense. The main starters will be back for their playoff matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Las Vegas Raiders: B (Last week C-)
The Raiders’ offense finished their 2023 season on a positive note, with a 27-14 victory over the Denver Broncos. Aidan O’Connell threw two touchdowns against no interceptions. Zamir White rushed for 112 yards on 25 yards. Jakobi Meyers caught three receptions for 61 yards and caught a touchdown and Davante Adams caught five receptions for five receptions for 46 yards. The Raiders’ offense finished well and they need to keep head coach Antonio Pierce, for a much better 2024 season. Will O’Connell be the quarterback leading the Raiders’ offense to battle in the 2024 season? Only time will tell.
Los Angeles Chargers: D- (Last week D)
The Chargers’ offense struggled in their 12-13 season finale loss to the Kansas City Chiefs backups, as they enter the 2024 offseason. Easton Stick didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked three times. Stick also rushed for 77 yards on 13 carries and Austin Ekeler rushed for 11 yards on 10 carries. Donald Parham Jr. caught five receptions for 83 yards and Cameron Dicker scored the Chargers’ only points of the game, with four field goals. The Chiefs’ offense has talent, but needs a far superior head coach, who can turn this offensive unit into a true championship contender.
Los Angeles Rams: B+ (Last week C+)
The Rams’ offense had a very strong showing in their 21-20 razor-thin victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Carson Wentz threw two touchdowns against one interception, rushed for 56 yards on 17 carries, and scored a rushing touchdown. Puka Nacua caught four receptions for 41 yards and scored a touchdown breaking the rookie record for receiving yards and catches previously held by Bill Groman when he played for the Houston Oilers. Tyler Johnson caught two receptions for eight yards and scored a touchdown. The Rams may have rested Matthew Stafford but they still can get the job done and get ready for their upcoming playoff matchup against the Detroit Lions.
Miami Dolphins: C- (Last week D+)
The Dolphins’ offense played an average battle in their 14-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Tua Tagovailoa threw a touchdown against two interceptions while De’Von Achane rushed for 56 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown. Tyreek Hill caught seven receptions for 82 yards and scored a touchdown while Durham Smythe caught three receptions for 30 yards. The Dolphins also lost control of first place in the AFC East and have to travel on the road to Arrowhead Stadium to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the wildcard round.
Minnesota Vikings: C- (Last week D)
The Vikings offense had a decent afternoon but couldn’t finish the job as they lost to the Detroit Lions 20-30. Nick Mullens threw two touchdowns against two interceptions on the day while Ty Chandler rushed for 69 yards on 12 carries. Justin Jefferson caught 12 receptions for 192 yards and scored a touchdown and Jordan Addison caught four receptions for 57 yards and scored a touchdown. The Vikings’ offense entered the 2024 offseason with a good amount of questions at quarterback, with Kirk Cousins becoming a free agent and possibly not returning to Minnesota. Only time will tell what happens from here.
New England Patriots: F (Last week D-)
The Patriots’ offense struggled, as they lost to the New York Jets 3-17, in Bill Belichick’s potential final game in Foxborough, MA. Bailey Zappe threw two interceptions against no touchdowns in a snowy afternoon. Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 54 yards on 13 carries and caught five receptions for 27 yards and Jalen Reagor caught one reception for 33 yards. The only point the Pats mustered on offense, was a Chad Ryland field goal in the second quarter, as they look to forget about this season and start fresh in the 2024 off-season.
New Orleans Saints: A- (Last week B+)
The Saints’ offense had a tremendous afternoon in their 48-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Derek Carr threw four touchdowns against no interceptions on the day. Kendre Miller rushed for 73 yards on 13 carries and scored a touchdown while Jamaal Williams rushed for 26 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown. Rashid Saheed caught three receptions for 65 yards and scored a touchdown, Chris Olave caught three receptions for 56 yards and scored a touchdown, and A.T. Perry caught three receptions for 53 yards and scored two touchdowns. It was a strong day for the Saints’ offense, but they failed to clinch the NFC South and a playoff berth as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sailed away with it in their 9-0 win over the Carolina Panthers.
New York Giants: B- (Last week C-)
The Giants’ offense had a positive finish to a disastrous regular season, as they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10. Tyrod Taylor threw a touchdown against an interception while Saquon Barkley rushed for 46 yards on 18 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns. Darius Slayton caught five receptions for 62 yards and scored a touchdown while Wan’Dale Robinson caught five receptions for 85 yards. The Giants’ offense needs to rebuild the offensive line through free agency and the NFL Draft, if they want to have a more successful 2024 regular season.
New York Jets: C+ (Last week D+)
The Jets’ offense had a good day as they defeated the New England Patriots 17-3. Trevor Siemian didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked once. Breece Hall had a very productive day on the ground with 178 rushing yards on 37 yards and scored the Jets’ only touchdown of the day. Garrett Wilson had a somewhat quiet afternoon, with two receptions for 34 yards. The Jets’ offense finished the 2023 season on a positive note with their first win in Foxbourgh, MA since the 2010-11 AFC Divisional round playoff game.
Philadelphia Eagles: D (Last week C)
It was a rough week for the Eagles as they were defeated by the New York Giants 10-27. Jalen Hurts threw an interception and popped his finger out before getting replaced by Marcus Mariota who threw the team’s only touchdown to Quez Watkins in the fourth quarter. Watkins caught eight receptions for 93 yards in the afternoon while Kenneth Gainwell rushed for 62 yards on seven carries. The Eagles’ offense struggled in the last quarter of the season despite having a playoff matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming up.
Pittsburgh Steelers: B (Last week C)
The Steelers’ offense had a good performance, as they defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 and secured a wildcard spot in the playoffs. Mason Rudolph threw a touchdown against no interceptions, but was sacked three times. Najee Harris rushed for 112 yards on 26 carries and scored a touchdown and Diontae Johnson caught four receptions for 89 yards and scored a touchdown. The Steelers’ offense isn’t the best unit in the NFL, but they aren’t the worst, as they have their eyes set on making a run as a wildcard team.
San Francisco 49ers: B- (Last week A-)
The 49ers’ offense had a good afternoon, despite losing a close 20-21 game to the Los Angeles Rams. Sam Darnold threw a touchdown against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked three times. Elijah Mitchell rushed for 52 yards on 14 carries and scored a rushing touchdown. Chris Conley caught three receptions for 69 yards while Ronnie Bell caught one reception for five yards and scored a touchdown. The 49ers may have rested their starters for the divisional round, however, the backups still put up a good fight, in the end.
Seattle Seahawks: B+ (Last week C-)
The Seahawks’ offense finished the 2023 season on a positive note in their nail-biting 21-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Geno Smith threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and wasn’t sacked at all. Kenneth Walker III rushed for 78 yards on 17 carries on the day. Tyler Lockett caught two receptions for 71 yards and scored a touchdown and Will Dissly caught three receptions for 46 yards and scored a touchdown. The Seahawks’ offense played well, but failed to qualify for the playoffs thanks to the Green Bay Packers securing one of the last wildcard spots- as they head into the 2024 offseason looking to get stronger.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C- (Last week C)
The Buccaneers’ offense didn’t have an explosive afternoon, but they did secure the 9-0 shutout victory over the Carolina Panthers. Baker Mayfield threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked three times. Rachaad White rushed for 75 yards on 19 carries, Chris Godwin caught six receptions for 51 yards, and Mike Evans caught three receptions for 22 yards. Not the loudest performance by the Bucs’ offense, but they secured their third straight NFC South crown and a trip to the playoffs!
Tennessee Titans: B (Last week F)
The Titans’ offense finished the 2023 season on a positive note, with a 28-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rayn Tannehill threw two touchdowns against one interception. Derrick Henry had a strong day with 153 rushing yards on 19 carries and scored a touchdown while Tyjae Spears rushed for 25 yards on three carries and scored a touchdown and caught three receptions for 41 yards and scored a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins caught seven receptions for 46 yards and scored a touchdown on the afternoon. With the Titans in the 2024 offseason, Henry is set to become a free agent. The team needs to decide whether to bring him back or let him sign with someone else- which would be a massive blow to the offense moving forward.
Washington Commanders: D (Last week D)
The Commanders’ offense had a rough afternoon, as they were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys 10-38. Sam Howell threw a touchdown against two interceptions and was sacked four times. Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 25 yards on nine carries and caught three receptions for 10 yards and scored a touchdown and Curtis Samuel rushed for 15 yards on one carry. Not a great way to end the 2023 season. The Commanders have a lot of rebuilding to accomplish for the 2024 season and need to find a new quarterback- as soon as possible.
