Happy New Year! Week 17 saw a lot of offenses have very productive afternoons as teams are securing their playoff spots while other offenses who were in the hunt for a playoff spot had their postseason dreams dashed and will have to wait for next season for a chance to get back to the playoffs. Here are the grades for all 32 NFL Team offenses after week 17 games:
Arizona Cardinals: B+ (Last week C-)
The Cardinals’ offense played a very good game, as they came from behind and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 35-31 on the road. Kyler Murray threw three touchdowns against one interception on the afternoon. James Conner rushed for 128 yards on 26 carries and scored a touchdown and caught one reception for five yards and scored a touchdown. Michael Carter caught one reception for six yards and scored a touchdown while Michael Wilson caught four receptions for 35 yards and scored a touchdown. The Cardinals’ offense played their hearts out, as they helped the team secure the upset win over the Eagles as they look to finish the 2023 season on a positive note.
Atlanta Falcons: D (Last week B)
The Falcons’ offense took a huge step back as they were defeated 17-37 on the road by the Chicago Bears. Taylor Heinicke threw one touchdown against three interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown on the day. Bijan Robinson rushed for 75 yards on 15 carries and Tyler Allegier caught one reception for 75 yards and scored a touchdown while Drake London caught four receptions for 56 yards. The Falcons’ offense has solid playmakers in Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts, respectively, but their weakness is at quarterback. Improvements need to happen there, if they want to be a playoff contender in the 2024 season.
Baltimore Ravens: A+ (Last week A-)
The Ravens’ offense had a field day, with a dominant 56-19 victory over the Miami Dolphins. This win clinched the one-seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs! Lamar Jackson threw five touchdowns against no interceptions while Tyler Huntley threw a pass for 19 yards and scored a touchdown. Gus Edwards rushed for 68 yards on 16 carries and scored a touchdown and Melvin Gordon III rushed for 10 yards on six carries and scored a touchdown. Zay Flowers caught three receptions for 103 yards and scored a touchdown, Justice Hill caught five receptions for 64 yards and scored a touchdown, Isaiah Likely caught two receptions for 42 yards and scored two touchdowns, Charlie Kolar caught one reception for 19 yards and scored a touchdown, and Patrick Ricard caught one reception for four yards and scored a touchdown. The Ravens’ offense dominated the field and looks to be one of the scariest offenses to go against in the upcoming playoffs.

Buffalo Bills: C+ (Last week C+)
The Bills’ offense had an all right performance against the New England Patriots, as they got their revenge on their AFC East rivals in a 27-21 victory. Josh Allen threw an interception against no touchdown passes but rushed for 44 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns. James Cook rushed for 48 yards on 16 carries while Dalton Kincaid caught four receptions for 87 yards, and Khalil Shakir caught four receptions for 39 yards. Josh Allen needs to pass the ball better, if the Bills want to capture the AFC East from the Miami Dolphins in week 18.
Carolina Panthers: F (Last week C-)
It was a brutal day for the Panthers’ offense as they fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 0-26. Bryce Young threw an interception against no touchdowns and was sacked six times. Chubba Hubbard rushed for 45 yards on 11 carries, Adam Thielen caught six receptions for 38 yards, and DJ Chark Jr. caught one reception for 18 yards. The Panthers’ offense needs to hit the reset button badly, as a rebuild needs to happen, as soon as the offseason begins.
Chicago Bears: B- (Last week C)
The Bears’ offense had a good day at Soldier Field as they defeated the Atlanta Falcons 37-17. Justin Fields threw a touchdown against no interceptions, rushed for 45 yards on 11 carries, and scored a rushing touchdown. Khalil Herbert rushed for 124 yards on 18 carries and scored a rushing touchdown while Roschon Johnson rushed for 21 yards on seven carries and scored a rushing touchdown. DJ Moore caught nine receptions for 159 yards and scored a touchdown while Robert Tonyan caught three receptions for 40 yards. The Bears’ offense played well and needs to improve from here on out when the 2024 season starts for any potential return to glory and to truly compete with the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers, in the NFC North.
Cincinnati Bengals: C (Last week D-)
The Bengals’ offense did everything they could to improve from week 16, but fell short in their 17-25 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jake Browning threw a touchdown against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown. Joe Mixon rushed for 65 yards on 21 carries, caught four receptions for 22 yards, and scored a touchdown. Ja’Marr Chase caught three receptions for 41 yards and Tyler Boyd caught two receptions for 29 yards. More plays needed to be made by the Chiefs’ offense, but they played better than they did against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 16 despite getting eliminated from playoff contention.
Cleveland Browns: B+ (Last week B-)
The Browns’ offense had a very strong showing in their Thursday Night 37-20 beat down victory over the New York Jets and also locked in their spot for the playoffs. Joe Flacco threw three touchdowns against one interception. Kareem Hunt rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries and scored a rushing touchdown while Jerome Ford rushed for 64 yards on 12 carries and caught two receptions for 57 yards and scored two receiving touchdowns. Elijah Moore caught five receptions for 61 yards and scored a touchdown while David Njoku caught six receptions for 134 yards. This was a very good and memorable night for the Browns, as they punch their ticket into the playoffs- for the third time in the 21st century.
Dallas Cowboys: B (Last week B-)
The Cowboys’ offense played very well, as they secured a very close but very controversial 20-19 win over the Detroit Lions. Dak Prescott threw two touchdowns against an interception on the night. Tony Pollard rushed for 49 yards on 16 carries on the night. CeeDee Lamb had himself a night as he caught 13 receptions for 227 yards and scored a touchdown and Brandin Cooks caught five receptions for 60 yards and scored a touchdown. This was a strong showing from the Cowboys’ offense, as they look to potentially make some serious noise in the upcoming playoffs.
Denver Broncos: C- (Last week C)
The Broncos’ offense played all right as they defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 16-9. Jared Stidham who replaced a benched Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass against no interceptions but was sacked twice. Jaleel McLaughlin rushed for 44 yards on eight carries and Javonte Williams rushed for 41 yards on 15 carries. Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught two receptions for 69 yards and scored the Broncos’ only touchdown. Not the best afternoon for the Broncos’ offense as they were also eliminated from playoff contention, but they got the win and can finish the 2023 season on a positive note.
Detroit Lions: C- (Last week B)
The Lions’ offense did what they could against the Dallas Cowboys before being undone by a costly and controversial ineligible receiver penalty that cost the Lions a two-point conversion in their 19-20 loss in Dallas. Jared Goff threw a touchdown against an interception while David Montgomery rushed for 65 yards on 14 carries and scored a rushing touchdown. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught six receptions for 90 yards and scored a receiving touchdown. The Lions offense had a decent night, but the controversial officiating call against the Lions will be felt for the last week of the season, and possibly into the playoffs, as the Lions look to take it out against whoever their opponent will be in the playoffs.
Green Bay Packers: B+ (Last week C+)
The Packers’ offense played a very strong game against their NFC North rival, the Minnesota Vikings, in a 33-10 victory. Jordan Love threw three touchdowns against zero interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown. Aaron Jones rushed for 120 yards on 20 carries, Bo Melton caught six receptions for 105 yards and scored a touchdown, and Jayden Reed caught six receptions for 89 yards and scored two touchdowns. It was a strong showing for the Packers as they make a last ditch effort to secure a playoff spot and show they are a team that belongs in the postseason.
Houston Texans: C+ (Last week D+)
The Texans’ offense welcomed back C.J. Stroud as they defeated the Tennessee Titans 26-3. Stroud threw a touchdown against no interceptions and rushed for four yards on one carry. Devin Singletary rushed for 80 yards on 16 carries, Nico Collins caught seven receptions for 80 yards, Robert Woods caught four receptions for 58 yards, and Brevin Jones caught two receptions for 19 yards and scored a touchdown. An overall good afternoon for the Texans, as they secured the win, and look to win out for a chance at the upcoming playoffs.
Indianapolis Colts: B- (Last week D-)
The Colts’ offense had a very productive afternoon, as they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, in a close 23-20 victory. Gardner Minshew threw a touchdown against no interceptions while Jonathan Taylor rushed for 96 yards on 21 carries and scored a rushing touchdown. Alec Pierce caught one reception for 58 yards and scored a touchdown while Michael Pittman Jr. caught five receptions for 46 yards. The Colts’ offense played well. With that said, the Colts need the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans to lose in their week 18 matchups, if they want to win the AFC South and secure their playoff spot.
Jacksonville Jaguars: B- (Last week D)
The Jaguars’ offense had a good afternoon, as they shut out the Carolina Panthers 26-0. C.J. Beathard didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions but rushed for 24 yards on three carries. Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 102 yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns, Evan Engram caught six receptions for 60 yards, and Calvin Ridley caught four receptions for 39 yards. The Jaguars’ offense started the game slow, but Etienne Jr. put the boosters on in the second half with his two rushing touchdowns that made all the difference for Jacksonville in the end.
Kansas City Chiefs: C (Last week D+)
The Chiefs’ offense played well as they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 25-17. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown against no interceptions while Harrison Butker kicked six field goals. Isiah Pacheco rushed for 130 yards on 18 carries, caught seven receptions for 35 yards, and scored a touchdown. Rashee Rice caught five receptions for 127 yards and Travis Kelce caught three receptions for 16 yards. Not the best night for the Chiefs’ receivers, but Butker helped the Chiefs secure the win, as they won the AFC West and live to fight another week.
Las Vegas Raiders: C- (Last week C)
The Raiders’ offense played well, but came up short, in a tough 20-23 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Aidan O’Connell threw two touchdowns against zero interceptions in the afternoon. Zamir White rushed for 71 yards on 20 carries, Davante Adams caught 13 receptions for 126 yards and scored two touchdowns, and Jakobi Meyers caught six receptions for 56 yards. The Raiders’ offense had some shining moments with Davante Adams’ performance, but now they need to put this loss behind them, and finish the 2023 season on a positive note.
Los Angeles Chargers: D (Last week D)
The Chargers’ offense was almost nonexistent in their 9-16 loss to the Denver Broncos. Easton Stick threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked once. Cameron Dicker kicked three of four field goals in the afternoon which is why the Chargers scored points. Austin Ekeler rushed for 46 yards on 13 carries but lost a fumble. Alex Erickson caught seven receptions for 98 yards and Gerald Everett caught four receptions for 31 yards. Not the best day for the Chargers’ offense. They need the 2023 season to end on a positive note in week 18 and then immediately hire a new head coach.
Los Angeles Rams: C+ (Last week B-)
The Rams’ offense played an alright game, as they secured the 26-25 nail-biting victory over the New York Giants. Matthew Stafford threw a touchdown against two interceptions on the afternoon. Kyren Williams rushed for 87 yards on 20 carries and scored three rushing touchdowns. Cooper Kupp caught four receptions for 27 yards and scored a touchdown while Puka Nacua caught five receptions for 118 yards and Demarcus Robinson caught six receptions for 92 yards. The Rams’ offense played well, despite Stafford throwing two interceptions- but managed to punch their ticket into the upcoming playoffs.
Miami Dolphins: D+ (Last week B)
The Dolphins offense did put up a fight against the Baltimore Ravens but ultimately really fell short in their 19-56 beat down loss. Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdowns against two interceptions on the afternoon. De’Von Achane rushed for 107 yards on 14 carries as the Dolphins didn’t have Raheem Mostert in the game due to knee and ankle injuries. Achane also caught four receptions for 30 yards and scored a touchdown. Tyreek Hill caught six receptions for 76 yards and Cedrick Wilson Jr. caught two receptions for 27 yards and scored a touchdown. The Dolphins’ offense ran into a solid brick wall in the Ravens’ defense. They’ll duke it out with the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East crown in week 18.
Minnesota Vikings: D (Last week D+)
The Vikings’ offense had a very tough time at home as they fell to the Green Bay Packers 10-33. Jaren Hall started over Nick Mullens but was benched after a poor performance as he threw one interception against no touchdowns and was sacked three times. Mullens did throw a touchdowns pass in the second half and was sacked once. Ty Chandler rushed for 40 yards on 10 carries, Justin Jefferson caught five receptions for 59 yards, and Johnny Mundt caught four receptions for 39 yards and scored a touchdown. The Vikings’ offense needs to step it up in week 18 if they want to finish the season on a positive note and possibly try to sneak into the playoffs which is very less likely.
New England Patriots: D- (Last week B)
The Patriots’ offense started the game strong with a Jalen Reagor kick return for a touchdown, but the Buffalo Bills got the last laugh, as they defeated the Patriots 21-27. Bailey Zappe threw three interceptions against no touchdown passes but Zappe did rush for 37 yards on five carries and scored a rushing touchdown. Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 39 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown. Kevin Harris caught two receptions for 54 yards and Mike Gesicki caught four receptions for 35 yards. The Patriots’ offense was a mess for the remainder of the game. They sorely need to put this season behind them and rebuild for the 2024 season.
New Orleans Saints: B+ (Last week C)
The Saints’ offense played very well, as a spoiler, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 23-13 victory. Derek Carr threw two touchdowns against no interceptions on the day. Jamaal Williams rushed for 58 yards on 19 carries and Alvin Kamara rushed for 45 yards on 10 carries. Juwan Johnson caught eight receptions for 90 yards and scored a touchdown and Taysom Hill caught two receptions for 30 yards and scored a touchdown. The Saints’ offense showed they still have some serious fight in them as they look to win out in week 18 and potentially steal the NFC South crown from the Bucs- and a playoff berth.
New York Giants: C- (Last week C+)
The Giants’ offense had a tough afternoon, as they lost a tough and close 25-26 game to the Los Angeles Rams. Tyrod Taylor threw a touchdown against an interception but was sacked six times. Wan’Dale Robinson rushed for 24 yards on one carry, scored a touchdown, and caught six receptions for 55 yards while Saquon Barkley rushed for 39 yards on 12 carries. Darius Slayton caught four receptions for 106 yards and scored a touchdown while Darren Waller caught five receptions for 51 yards. The offense didn’t play badly, but couldn’t finish the job against the Rams, as a missed field goal and extra point hurt the Giants in the end.
New York Jets: D+ (Last week C+)
The Jets’ offense did everything they could to compete against the Cleveland Browns, only to fall 20-37 on the road. Trevor Siemian threw a touchdown against an interception but was sacked twice. Breece Hall rushed for 84 yards on 13 carries and caught nine receptions for 42 yards and scored a receiving touchdown. Garret Wilson caught five receptions for 50 yards while Tyler Conklin caught five receptions for 45 yards. The Jets need this season to end so they can focus on fixing the offensive line, as Aaron Rodgers recovers from his Achilles injury for a fresh 2024 season.
Philadelphia Eagles: C (Last week B-)
The Eagles’ offense played decently, but lost 31-35 at home to the Arizona Cardinals. Jalen Hurts threw three touchdowns against one interception while D’Andre Swift rushed for 61 yards on 13 carries. Dallas Goedert caught five receptions for 47 yards and scored a touchdown, Julio Jones caught two receptions for 34 yards and scored two touchdowns, and A.J. Brown caught four receptions for 53 yards. A good afternoon for the Eagles’ offense, statistically, but they couldn’t finish the game with a win in the end.
Pittsburgh Steelers: C (Last week C+)
The Steelers’ offense played well and showed some good fight in them as they defeated the Seattle Seahawks 30-23. Mason Rudolph threw no touchdowns or interceptions in the afternoon. Najee Harris rushed for 122 yards on 27 carries and scored two touchdowns and Jaylen Warren rushed for 75 yards on 13 carries and scored a touchdown. George Pickens caught seven receptions for 131 yards, as the Steelers look to finish the 2023 season on a positive note even though their chances of making the playoffs are very slim.
San Francisco 49ers: A- (Last week D)
The 49ers’ offense had a strong showing on the road against the Washington Commanders as they won 27-10. Brock Purdy threw two touchdowns against zero interceptions. Elijah Mitchell rushed for 80 yards on 17 carries and scored a touchdown while Christian McCaffrey rushed for 64 yards on 14 carries and caught four receptions for 27 yards. Brandon Aiyuk caught seven receptions for 114 yards and scored a touchdown, Deebo Samuel caught five receptions for 35 yards and scored a touchdown, and George Kittle caught three receptions for 29 yards. It was a solid performance for the 49ers’ offense, as they secured the win and the one seed courtesy of the Arizona Cardinals defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 35-31.
Seattle Seahawks: C- (Last week B-)
The Seahawks’ offense played all right, as they fell 23-30 at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Geno Smith threw a touchdown with no interceptions. Kenneth Walker III rushed for 53 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown, DK Metcalf caught five receptions for 106 yards, Noah Fant caught five receptions for 59 yards, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught one reception for 12 yards and scored a touchdown. A decent day for the Seahawks, but they couldn’t get the job done, as they fell at home to the Steelers and look to win out in week 18.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C (Last week B+)
The Bucs’ offense played all right, but they fell short 13-23 to the New Orleans Saints. Baker Mayfield threw two touchdowns against two interceptions on the afternoon. Rachaad White rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries, Trey Palmer caught four receptions for 84 yards and scored a touchdown, Chris Godwin caught three receptions for 81 yards and scored a touchdown, and Mike Evans caught three receptions for 70 yards. It wasn’t Mayfield’s best day on the field. The Bucs need to win out in week 18 or all that remains of the season is a sinking ship without securing the NFC South crown and coveted playoff berth to dock in.
Tennessee Titans: F (Last week C)
It was a brutal afternoon for the Titans’ offense, as they were defeated by the Houston Texans 3-26. Will Levis left the game with a foot injury, as Ryan Tannehill took over. Both Tannehill and Levis didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions but Tannehill was sacked five times while Levis was sacked once. Derrick Henry rushed for 42 yards on 12 carries and DeAndre Hopkins caught seven receptions for 72 yards. An overall tough afternoon for the Titans’ offense, as they look to finish the 2023 season on a potential high note.
Washington Commanders: D (Last week D+)
The Commanders’ offense had a terrible afternoon, as they were defeated 10-27 by the San Francisco 49ers. Sam Howell threw a touchdown against two interceptions while Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 44 yards on nine carries. Terry McLurin caught four receptions for 61 yards and scored the Commanders’ only touchdown while Curtis Samuel caught three receptions for 33 yards. A rough week for the Commanders as they look to finish out the 2023 season on a positive note and rebuild in the 2024 offseason.
