Week six was another very exciting week in the ever-changing and wild NFL. We’re starting to see the true title contenders, who earned strong wins at home or on the road.
However, we’re also starting to see the league’s bottom feeders as some NFL teams continue to take steps in the wrong direction and lose games painfully.
Even though there is still time to turn things around, the clock is ticking, and time is running out. Regardless, we’re always excited for what’s to come in the rest of the 2024 season.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams after week six.
Which teams had the highest grades in the NFL after week six?
Arizona Cardinals: D
The Cardinals had a tough afternoon in Wisconsin, as they lost 13-34 to the Green Bay Packers. Kyler Murray threw a touchdown to Michael Wilson with no interceptions. The Cardinals rushing attack was held to a combined 89 yards, Trey McBride caught eight receptions for 96 yards, and Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t have a single catch-all game.
On defense, the Cardinals had no sacks but did have an interception from Sean Murphy-Bunting. The Cardinals looked dreadful and unprepared as they were humiliated on the road in Lambeau Field. They have a lot to work on if they want to have a respectable NFL season.

Atlanta Falcons: B+
The Falcons had a very nice game on the road, as they defeated the Carolina Panthers 38-20. Kirk Cousins threw a touchdown pass to Drake London with no interceptions, Tyler Allgeier scored a rushing touchdown, Bijan Robinson scored two rushing touchdowns, and London caught a touchdown pass.
On defense, the Falcons had two interceptions but no sacks or fumble recoveries. A very nice afternoon for the Falcons, as this NFL team has their groove in the very competitive NFC South.
Baltimore Ravens: A-
The Ravens played a very competitive battle in their 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders in the Beltway Bowl. Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown against an interception, Derrick Henry scored two rushing touchdowns, Zay Flowers had 132 receiving yards, and Mark Andrews scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Ravens had three sacks and held the Commanders’ rushing attack to 52 yards, but no defensive turnovers. A strong afternoon for the Ravens, as they looked very sharp on offense.
Buffalo Bills: A-
The Bills played a very neck-and-neck battle against the New York Jets and came away with a very razor-thin 23-20 win. Josh Allen threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown. Ray Davis rushed for 97 yards while James Cook was out with a toe injury, and Dawson Knox and Mack Hollins both scored touchdowns.
On defense, the Bills had three sacks and an interception against Aaron Rodgers in the final minutes of the game. It’s a very dramatic battle, with the Bills surviving and maintaining control of the AFC East for now.
Carolina Panthers: C-
The Panthers played a competitive battle against the Atlanta Falcons but came short in their painful 20-38 loss at home. Andy Dalton threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, Chubba Hubbard rushed for 92 yards on 18 carries, and Dionte Johnson and Xavier Legette both scored touchdowns.
On defense, the Panthers had a fumble recovery but no sacks or interceptions all game long. This was a brutal afternoon for the Panthers. They need to regroup and get prepared for their week seven matchup on the road against the Washington Commanders.
Chicago Bears: A-
The Bears had a great Sunday across the pond as they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-16 in London. Caleb Williams threw four touchdowns against an interception, D’Andre Swift scored a rushing touchdown, Keenan Allen scored two touchdowns, and Cole Kmet scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Bears had four sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery, and forced the Jaguars’ rushing attack to have a brutal afternoon, as they held them to 68 yards on the ground. Despite the Bears having a horrible offensive line, things are starting to click for the Bears. Now the question is, will they keep this momentum going?
Cincinnati Bengals: C
The Bengals played an average game in their 17-7 low-scoring win over the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. Joe Burrow threw no touchdown passes or interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Chase Brown scored the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter, further sealing the deal for the Bengals, and both Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase topped over 70 receiving yards.
On defense, the Bengals had two sacks, eight pass deflections, and an interception from Germaine Pratt, who returned it for 24 yards. It was not the prettiest win, but it was nonetheless a win for an NFL team wanting to climb back into the win column in a very competitive AFC North.

Cleveland Browns: D
Despite the Browns putting up 16 points against the Philadelphia Eagles, it wasn’t enough, as they were defeated 16-20 on the road. Deshaun Watson threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked five times, Pierre Strong Jr. rushed for 43 yards, and Amari Cooper had 42 receiving yards.
On defense, the Browns had a sack, and Myles Garrett blocked a field goal, which was recovered by Rodney McLeod Jr. for a 50-yard touchdown. However, the Browns couldn’t get any interceptions or fumble recoveries against the Eagles, as they suffered yet another humiliating loss in the NFL.
Dallas Cowboys: F
The Cowboys looked like an absolute chaotic mess in their 9-47 loss to the Detroit Lions at home. Dak Prescott threw two interceptions against no touchdowns, and Cooper Rush threw an interception as well. The Cowboys’ rushing attack was held to a combined 53 yards all game, and CeeDee Lamb had 89 receiving yards.
On defense, the Cowboys had three sacks but had no turnovers. A humiliating afternoon for the Cowboys as they happened to have lost on owner Jerry Jones’ birthday, no less. Ouch!
Denver Broncos: D+
The Broncos returned to reality, as they were defeated 16-23 at home against the Los Angeles Chargers, despite a comeback attempt in the fourth quarter. Bo Nix threw two touchdowns against an interception, Javonte Williams rushed for 23 yards on six carries, and Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin both scored touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
On defense, the Broncos had three sacks and no interceptions in the painful loss at home to their AFC West rivals. It also didn’t help, as Patrick Surtain II left the game with a concussion. Hopefully, he recovers well.
Detroit Lions: A
The Lions returned to Jerry’s World and decimated the Dallas Cowboys 47-9 in their first win against “America’s team” since the 2013 NFL season. Jared Goff threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, David Montgomery scored two rushing touchdowns, Amon-Ra St. Brown scored a touchdown, Sam LaPorta scored a touchdown, and Jameson Williams scored a touchdown. On defense, the Lions had four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and three interceptions.
However, the Lions’ defense took a massive hit as Aiden Hutchinson suffered a gruesome leg injury that required immediate surgery to repair a broken tibia and fibula, ending his season prematurely. We wish Hutchinson a speedy recovery. As for the rest of the game, it was pure Lions’ dominance all game long.
Green Bay Packers: B+
The Packers had a very nice afternoon at Lambeau Field as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-13. Jordan Love threw four touchdowns against an interception, Josh Jacobs rushed for 62 yards on 18 carries, Christian Watson scored a touchdown, Romeo Doubs scored two touchdowns, and Jayden Reed scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Packers had no sacks or interceptions, even though they had three fumble recoveries. The Packers continue to roll thanks to Jordan Love and the team’s offense.
Houston Texans: A-
The Texans traveled to Foxborough, MA, and defeated the New England Patriots 41-21 despite not having Nico Collins. C.J. Stroud threw three touchdowns against an interception, Joe Mixon returned to action and scored a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, Dameon Pierce scored a rushing touchdown, Stefon Diggs scored a touchdown, and Tank Dell scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Texans had four sacks, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. A very strong win for the Texans on the road as they continue to maintain control of the AFC South.
Indianapolis Colts: B
The Colts rebounded and won a very competitive 20-17 divisional battle against the Tennessee Titans. Joe Flacco threw two touchdowns against an interception, Tyler Goodson had 51 rushing yards, Joshua Downs scored a touchdown, and Michael Pittman Jr. scored a touchdown despite dealing with an injury.
On defense, the Colts had an interception and seven pass deflections but didn’t have any sacks. Despite having no Jonathan Taylor or Anthony Richardson, the Colts stepped up in the fourth quarter, got the job done, and earned the win against their AFC South rivals.
Jacksonville Jaguars: D
The Jaguars had a very rough Sunday across the pond in their 16-35 defeat to the Chicago Bears. Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdowns against an interception, the Jaguars’ rushing attack was held to a combined 68 yards on the ground, and Evan Ingram had 102 receiving yards, and Gabe Davis scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Jaguars had three sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery. The Jaguars’ 2024 NFL season has been a complete disaster, and something needs to change quickly if they want to stay relevant.
Kansas City Chiefs: Bye Week
The Chiefs may have their issues at wide receiver, but as long as Patrick Mahomes is under center, they’re still a legitimate threat.
Las Vegas Raiders: D
The Raiders had a brutal afternoon, as they were defeated by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 13-32 matchup. Aidan O’Connell threw a touchdown against an interception, Alexander Mattison scored a rushing touchdown, Kristian Wilkerson scored a touchdown, and Brock Bowers had 71 receiving yards. On defense, the Raiders had three sacks but no defensive turnovers. A rough afternoon for the Raiders as they got to prepare for a quick road trip west and square off against the Los Angeles Rams for week seven.
Los Angeles Chargers: C+
The Chargers played well on the road despite having a very quiet fourth quarter in their 23-16 win over the Denver Broncos. Justin Herbert threw a touchdown against no interceptions, J.K. Dobbins scored a rushing touchdown, and Kimani Vidal scored a receiving touchdown. On defense, the Chargers had two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery.
Despite Jim Harbaugh leaving the game due to a minor illness, the Chargers held their own and defeated their AFC West rivals on the road after having a bye week.
Los Angeles Rams: Bye Week
As good as Matthew Stafford and Kyren Williams are, the Rams need to have both Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp back in the lineup. Luckily, Kupp had a good workout, per Ian Rapaport, which is a small sign of hope for the Rams.
Miami Dolphins: Bye Week
The Dolphins have been a mess and need to find a way to clean things up and return to form with or without Tua Tagovailoa.
Minnesota Vikings: Bye Week
The Vikings have been the NFL’s biggest surprise this season. However, they’ll face their greatest test in week seven when they welcome the Detroit Lions to town for an NFC North showdown.
New England Patriots: C-
Despite losing a tough 21-41 battle against the Houston Texans at home, Drake Maye played well. Maye threw three touchdowns against two interceptions, the Patriots rushing attack was held to a combined 82 yards on the ground, DeMario Douglas scored a touchdown, Kayshoun Boutte scored a touchdown, and Hunter Henry scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Patriots had two sacks and an interception from Marcus Jones, who returned it for 35 yards. Despite struggles with the run game and the offensive line woes, Maye looks to be the guy leading the Patriots moving forward for now.
New Orleans Saints: C-
Despite a decent performance from Spencer Rattler, the Saints lost a tough 27-51 battle at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rattler threw a touchdown against two interceptions, Alvin Kamara scored a rushing touchdown, Bub Means scored a receiving touchdown, and Rashid Shaheed scored a touchdown via a punt return. On defense, the Saints had a sack and three interceptions.
Rattler has a lot to learn as the Saints continue to lose key games and lose guys to injuries. Hopefully, the Saints can turn things around as they get prepared for their week seven matchup against the Denver Broncos at home.
New York Giants: D
The Giants had a very miserable Sunday night in their painful 7-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at home. Daniel Jones threw an interception against no touchdowns, Tyrone Tracy Jr. scored a rushing touchdown, and Darius Slayton caught five receptions for 57 yards. On defense, the Giants had four sacks, no interceptions, and a fumble recovery.
Despite the lack of offensive firepower, the Giants did put up somewhat of a fight on defense against the Bengals, even though it wasn’t enough in the end.
New York Jets: B-
Despite everything the Jets have been through with the firing of Robert Saleh and making Jeff Ulbrich the interim head coach, they almost had the win in a very intense back-and-forth 20-23 AFC East clash against the Buffalo Bills. Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdowns against a painful interception, Breece Hall rushed for 113 yards on 18 carries, and Allen Lazard and Garrett Wilson both caught insane touchdown passes in the game.
On defense, the Jets had two sacks and no interceptions. A great performance by the Jets that was undone by small mistakes throughout the game. The Jets’ path to victory doesn’t get any easier as they travel west for a primetime showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
Philadelphia Eagles: B+
Despite a tough game for the Eagles’ rushing attack, the ‘Birds’ managed to earn a solid 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns. Jalen Hurts threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked once. Saquon Barkley rushed for 47 yards, A.J. Brown scored a touchdown, and DeVonta Smith scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Eagles had five sacks but no defensive turnovers against the Browns. A good afternoon for the Eagles, as Brown and Smith returned from injuries and helped the team in their victory at home.
Pittsburgh Steelers: B+
The Steelers rebounded from their week five loss and secured a great 32-13 victory on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. Justin Fields didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions, yet managed to score two rushing touchdowns. Najee Harris scored a rushing touchdown, and George Pickens had 53 receiving yards.
On defense, the Steelers had two defensive fumble recoveries, a sack, and an interception. A great afternoon for the Black and Yellow, as they keep that competitive drive of theirs going.
San Francisco 49ers: B+
The 49ers got themselves out of their small losing funk with a very nice 36-24 divisional victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Brock Purdy threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, Jordan Mason rushed for 73 yards but left the game with a sprained AC joint, Kyle Juszcyck scored a touchdown, Deebo Samuel scored a touchdown, and George Kittle scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the 49ers had a sack, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. Despite losing Mason for some time, it was a nice victory for the 49ers as they look to keep control of the NFC West… for now.
Seattle Seahawks: C-
The Seahawks had a rough Thursday night at home, as their divisional foes, the San Francisco 49ers, defeated them 24-36. Geno Smith threw a touchdown against two interceptions, Kenneth Walker III scored a rushing touchdown, and Tyler Lockett scored a touchdown. On special teams, Laviska Shenault Jr. scored a touchdown on a kick return.
On defense, the Seahawks had no sacks or interceptions on the night. A tough night at home for this NFL squad, but the team has to rebound and get prepared for week seven.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B+
The Bucs played a very strong battle with the New Orleans Saints and emerged on top in their 51-27 victory. Baker Mayfield threw four touchdowns against three interceptions, Sean Tucker and Bucky Irving both scored rushing touchdowns, Chris Godwin scored two touchdowns, Cade Otton scored a touchdown, and Tucker scored a receiving touchdown. On defense, the Bucs had five sacks, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions.
A good showcasing for the Bucs, but Mayfield threw three costly interceptions in the game, which almost sank the Bucs’ chances of winning. Thankfully, the Bucs’ defense kept the Saints out of the end zone in the second half.
Tennessee Titans: D+
The Titans played an okay game but came up short in their 17-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Will Levis threw a touchdown against an interception, Tony Pollard scored a rushing touchdown, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine scored a touchdown, and DeAndre Hopkins had 54 receiving yards. On defense, the Titans had an interception but no sacks.
Levis struggled, and Calvin Ridley was beyond frustrated, as he had no receptions during the entire game. He wants the ball thrown at him moving forward.
Washington Commanders: B-
Despite a strong performance from Jayden Daniels, the Commanders couldn’t get the job done in their 23-30 loss on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. Daniels threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, and the Commanders’ rushing attack was held to 52 yards on the ground. Zach Ertz had 68 receiving yards, and Terry McLaurin scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Commanders had two sacks and an interception against Lamar Jackson. Daniels gave a good performance, even though the team returned to earth and suffered their first loss since week one of the NFL season.
