Some teams struggled and couldn’t escape their mistakes, leading to their downfalls. Either way, we were treated to some great football games and are left wanting more as we look forward to what’s to come in week five.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams after week four.
Which NFL teams managed to get the highest grades after week 4 of action?
Arizona Cardinals: D+
A very tough afternoon for the Cardinals as they were defeated by the Washington Commanders 14-42. Kyler Murray threw a touchdown against no interceptions but was sacked four times, James Conner scored a rushing touchdown, and Marvin Harrison Jr. also scored a touchdown. On defense, the Cardinals had no sacks, even though Garrett Williams had an interception.
It was a very tough loss for the Red Birds. This NFL team will have to find a way to rebound from this loss come week five when they square off against the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
Atlanta Falcons: B-

The Falcons returned to action and earned themselves a very close 26-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints despite some sloppy quarterback play from both NFL teams. Kirk Cousins threw an interception against no touchdowns, Bijan Robinson rushed for 28 yards on seven carries, and Drake London caught six receptions for 64 yards. On defense, the Falcons had a sack from Dee Alford and an interception returned for a 47-yard pick-six from Troy Andersen.
On special teams, KhaDarel Hodge scored a touchdown on a muffed punt in the first quarter. Despite no touchdowns from Kirk Cousins, the Falcons got the job done and found a way to win against their NFC South rivals.
Baltimore Ravens: B+
The Ravens entered Sunday Night Football under the lights and earned a strong 35-10 statement win over the Buffalo Bills. Lamar Jackson threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Derrick Henry went off and scored an 87-yard rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, Justice Hill scored a receiving touchdown, and Patrick Ricard recovered an offensive fumble and scored a touchdown. On defense, the Ravens had three sacks and a fumble recovery but no interceptions.
The Ravens’ rushing attack had a very strong game, but the receivers had a quiet night. However, a win is a win, as the Ravens get set for their week five matchup on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Buffalo Bills: D
The Bills fell flat under the lights as they were stunned by the Baltimore Ravens 10-35. Josh Allen threw no touchdowns or interceptions, Ty Johnson scored a rushing touchdown, and Khalil Shakir caught four receptions for 62 yards. On defense, the Bills had one sack but no defensive turnovers. It was a very tough loss for the Bills, indeed. They will have to regroup and get prepared for their week five matchup on the road against the Houston Texans.
Carolina Panthers: C
After a mesmerizing week three performance, the Panthers were brought back to earth as they were defeated 24-34 by the Cincinnati Bengals. Andy Dalton threw two touchdowns against an interception, Chubba Hubbard scored a rushing touchdown, Dionte Johnson scored a touchdown, and Xavier Legette scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Panthers had no sacks or fumble recoveries yet had an interception from Xavier Woods returned for 33 yards. The Panthers had a very similar game to the Bengals, but they couldn’t get the job done in front of their home crowd at the end of the day, and on to the next one.
Chicago Bears: B
The Bears came to life and made things miserable for the Los Angeles Rams in their 24-18 win. Caleb Williams threw a touchdown against no interceptions, D’Andre Swift scored a rushing touchdown, Roschon Johnson scored a rushing touchdown, and DJ Moore scored a touchdown. On defense, the Bears had an interception, a fumble recovery, and three sacks.
A very good rebound game for the Bears, who still have a lot of work to do if they want to stay relevant in the NFC North.
Cincinnati Bengals: B
The Bengals played a very competitive game and earned their first win of the NFL season with a 34-24 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Joe Burrow threw two touchdowns against one interception, Chase Brown scored two rushing touchdowns, and Ja’Marr Chase and Zack Moss both scored receiving touchdowns. On defense, the Bengals had an interception but no sacks or fumble recoveries.
The Bengals played a very close battle with the Panthers, as they scored one more touchdown and a field goal over the Panthers team to earn the win. At the end of the day, that is what puts them above the top.

The Browns had another rough afternoon as they lost a tough 16-20 battle in Sin City against the Las Vegas Raiders. Dak Prescott threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, the Cowboys’ rushing attack slightly improved with a combined 80 yards on the ground, and CeeDee Lamb and Rico Dowdle both scored receiving touchdowns.
On defense, the Cowboys had two sacks and an interception. With this win, it helped this NFL team stay relevant in a very competitive NFC East. However, the Cowboys lost both Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence to injuries. Now the question is, will they continue to earn more wins moving forward?
Denver Broncos: C+
The Broncos came into MetLife Stadium and stunned the New York Jets 10-9. Bo Nix threw a touchdown against no interceptions and wasn’t sacked at all, Javonte Williams rushed for 77 yards on 16 carries, and Courtland Sutton scored the game’s only touchdown. On defense, the Broncos had five sacks and a fumble recovery but no interceptions.
Could this be the Broncos turning the page and getting back on track? Who knows? All we know is this was a very nice and impressive road win for Bo Nix and company, as they now return home for a week five divisional showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Detroit Lions: A-
The Lions played in an incredible battle against the Seattle Seahawks and emerged victorious with a final score of 42-29. Jared Goff threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and caught a touchdown pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown in a trick play reminiscent of the Philly Special from Super Bowl 52.
Jahmyr Gibbs scored two rushing touchdowns, David Montgomery scored a rushing touchdown, Jameson Williams scored a touchdown, and St. Brown scored a touchdown. On defense, the Lions had three sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception. It was an incredible night for the Lions as they entered their week five bye week on a strong, positive note.
Green Bay Packers: B-
Despite the Packers attempting a comeback in the second half, they ended up losing to their NFC North foes, the Minnesota Vikings, 29-31. Jordan Love threw four touchdowns against three interceptions in his first game back since he sprained his MCL, Josh Jacobs rushed for 51 yards on nine carries, Jayden Reed scored a touchdown, Dontayvion Wicks scored two touchdowns, and Tucker Kraft scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Packers had a fumble recovery, two sacks, and an interception. Despite all of the Packers’ efforts, they came up short in a very competitive divisional showdown.
Houston Texans: B
The Texans rebounded from their week three humiliating loss on the road to the Minnesota Vikings with a 24-20 come-from-behind win over their AFC South rivals, the Jacksonville Jaguars at home. C.J. Stroud threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Cam Akers rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries, Stefon Diggs scored his first rushing touchdown, and Nico Collins and Dare Ogunbowale both scored receiving touchdowns.
On defense, the Texans had a sack but no interceptions or fumble recoveries. The Texans were playing from behind against the Texans until Stroud found Dare Ogunbowale and connected with him as he punched the final points in the game, which was enough to secure the come-from-behind victory.
Indianapolis Colts: B+
The Colts secured the 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Anthony Richardson left the game with a hip injury. Joe Flacco stepped in and threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Jonathan Taylor scored a rushing touchdown, Josh Downs scored a touchdown, and Drew Ogletree scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Colts had four sacks and two fumble recoveries but no interceptions. A good afternoon for the Colts, even though Richardson is going to be out for some time as his hip recovers.
Jacksonville Jaguars: C-

Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, Tank Bigsby rushed for 90 yards on seven carries, and Brian Thomas Jr. and Christian Kirk both scored touchdowns.
On defense, the Jaguars had two sacks and a fumble recovery but no interceptions. The Jaguars tried to maintain the lead, but the Texans came back and stole the win right out of their grasp.
Kansas City Chiefs: B+
The Chiefs started slow and managed to turn the key on in the second quarter without looking back in their 17-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown against an interception, Samaje Perine scored a rushing touchdown, Travis Kelce had a great game, as he caught seven receptions for 87 yards, and Xavier Worthy scored a touchdown. On defense, the Chiefs had two sacks but no defensive turnovers.
The Chiefs may have gotten the win, but it came at a cost, as Rashee Rice went down with a knee injury, which is feared to be a torn ACL. Rice’s injury is going to be felt throughout the roster if he’s out long-term, despite the Chiefs staying undefeated.
Las Vegas Raiders: C+
The Raiders played a very close neck-and-neck battle with the Cleveland Browns as they came out on top 20-16. Gardner Minshew didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions, DJ Turner and Tre Tucker both scored rushing touchdowns, and Jakobi Meyers caught five receptions for 49 yards. On defense, the Raiders had three sacks and an interception.
The Raiders’ defense answered and played a key role in holding back the Browns. It came down to the very last minutes of the game, with Minshew commanding a decent offense that had no Davante Adams in the lineup due to a hamstring injury.
Los Angeles Chargers: D+
The Chargers started the game off on the right foot but turned things off after the first quarter, as they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs 10-17. Justin Herbert threw a touchdown against no interceptions, J.K. Dobbins struggled on the ground as he rushed for 32 yards on 14 carries, and Ladd McConkey scored a receiving touchdown.
On defense, the Chargers had three sacks and an interception. A tough game for the Chargers, as they had opportunities to accomplish more, but penalties cost them, while the defense did most of the work throughout the game.
Los Angeles Rams: D+
The Rams had a very rough Sunday afternoon on the road, as they lost to the Chicago Bears 18-24. Matthew Stafford threw an interception against no touchdowns, lost a fumble, and was sacked three times. Kyren Williams scored a rushing touchdown, and Tutu Atwell caught four receptions for 82 yards.
On defense, the Rams had three sacks and no defensive turnovers. An ugly loss nonetheless, as this NFL team had three offensive linemen out for the game with no Cooper Kupp and no Puka Nacua, which made things harder for Stafford.
Miami Dolphins: D-
Life without Tua Tagovailoa continues to sting the Dolphins as they lost 12-31 against the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football. Former Baltimore Ravens’ backup quarterback Tyler Huntley threw no touchdowns or interceptions yet scored a rushing touchdown. Jaylen Wright rushed for 32 yards on nine carries, and Jaylen Waddle caught four receptions for 36 yards.
On defense, the Dolphins had a sack and an interception. It was a very painful night in South Beach as the Dolphins continued their downward spiral. Will the Dolphins turn things around? We’ll just wait and see.
Minnesota Vikings: A-
The Vikings had a very impressive game, as they defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-29 despite the Packers attempting a comeback. Sam Darnold threw three touchdowns against one interception, Jordan Addison scored a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, Justin Jefferson scored a receiving touchdown, and Josh Oliver scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Vikings had a sack, a fumble recovery, and three interceptions. The Vikings played hard and physically and continued to dominate on all sides of the ball.
New England Patriots: D
The Patriots played slightly better than they did in week three, but they were flattened 13-30 by a more talented San Francisco 49ers team. Jacoby Brissett threw a touchdown against an interception (which was a 45-yard pick-six by Fred Warner), Rhadmondre Stevenson rushed for 43 yards on 13 carries, and Austin Hooper scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Patriots had a sack, an interception, and a fumble recovery. Not the best game for this renowned NFL team. They will have to regroup and move on to week five when they square off against the Miami Dolphins at home.
New Orleans Saints: C
The Saints played a tough and competitive battle even though they fell to the Atlanta Falcons 24-26 in a close nail-biter. Derek Carr threw an interception against no touchdowns, Alvin Kamara scored a rushing touchdown, Taysom Hill scored two rushing touchdowns, and Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed both topped over 80 receiving yards.
On defense, the Saints had a sack from Payton Turner and an interception from Paulson Adebo. Despite a very close battle with the Falcons, the Saints came up short and had to get prepared for their week five Monday night showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.
New York Giants: D
The Giants tried to put up a fight against their NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, but came up short in a 15-20 loss under the lights. Daniel Jones threw an interception against no touchdowns, the Giants’ rushing attack was held to a combined 26 yards all game, and Malik Nabers caught 12 receptions for 115 yards before leaving the game with a concussion. On defense, the Giants had a sack and no defensive turnovers.
The only points the Giants scored were from Greg Joseph’s five field goal kicks. A very disappointing night for the Giants, who need to move on and get focused on week five when they square off against the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
New York Jets: D
It was a rough and cloudy afternoon for the Jets, as they fell to the Denver Broncos 9-10. Aaron Rodgers threw no touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked five times, the Jets’ rushing attack was held to 64 yards on the ground, and Mike Williams caught four receptions for 67 yards.
On defense, the Jets had one fumble recovery but had no sacks or interceptions. It was a rough showcasing at home for the Jets, as they need to hit the reset button and get prepared for their matchup against the Minnesota Vikings across the pond in London for week five.
Philadelphia Eagles: D+
The Eagles traveled to Raymond James Stadium with hopes of avenging their 2023-24 wildcard loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but things didn’t go as planned, as they lost 16-33. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Saquon Barkley rushed for 84 yards on 10 carries, and Parris Campbell scored a touchdown. On defense, the Eagles had two sacks and no defensive turnovers.
A very brutal afternoon for the Eagles, as they missed DeVonta Smith, who is recovering from a concussion, and A.J. Brown, as he recovers from a hamstring injury. All the Eagles can do is regroup and head into their week five bye week.
Pittsburgh Steelers: C
Despite being down 17-3 at halftime, the Steelers attempted a comeback but fell short in their 24-27 loss on the road at the Indianapolis Colts. Justin Fields threw a touchdown against no interceptions and scored two rushing touchdowns. Najee Harris had a rough game as he only topped 19 yards, and Pat Freiermuth scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Steelers had two sacks but no defensive turnovers. A tough loss for this NFL team as they look to regroup and set their sights for their week five matchup against the Dallas Cowboys back home.
San Francisco 49ers: A-
The 49ers snapped their two-game losing streak and earned a strong 30-13 win over the New England Patriots. Brock Purdy threw a touchdown against an interception, Jordan Mason scored a rushing touchdown, George Kittle, in his first game back, scored a touchdown, and Jauan Jennings had 88 receiving yards from three receptions.
On defense, the 49ers had six sacks, two fumble recoveries, and Fred Warner had an interception returned for a 45-yard pick-six. The 49ers are returning to their winning ways, as key players like Kittle and Deebo Samuel returned to action after dealing with injuries, which played a major role in the victory.
Seattle Seahawks: C
Despite the Seahawks losing 29-42 to the Detroit Lions, they put up a strong fight in this Monday night showdown. Geno Smith threw a touchdown against an interception, Kenneth Walker III scored three rushing touchdowns, AJ Barner scored a touchdown, and DK Metcalf caught seven receptions for 104 yards. On defense, the Seahawks had three sacks but no interceptions or fumble recoveries.
Despite having their undefeated season come to an end, the Seahawks fought very hard and look to be very competitive for the rest of the 2024 season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B+
Despite being underdogs in their playoff wildcard rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Bucs played very well and came out on top in a 33-16 win. Baker Mayfield threw two touchdowns against no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Bucky Irving scored a rushing touchdown, Mike Evans scored a touchdown, and Trey Palmer scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Bucs had six sacks and two fumble recoveries but no interceptions. A very solid afternoon for this NFL team as they foiled the Eagles’ revenge and showed why they’re a playoff contender.
Tennessee Titans: D+
The Titans won a very sloppy 31-12 game in South Beach against the Miami Dolphins, but Will Levis injured his shoulder. Levis threw an interception against no touchdowns, while Mason Rudolph threw no touchdowns or interceptions. Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears both scored rushing touchdowns, and DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd both caught two receptions for 31 yards. On defense, the Titans had two sacks and a fumble recovery but no interceptions.
A very sloppy night for the Titans as they managed to earn their first win of the 2024 season and a nice treat to head into their bye week as a bonus.
Washington Commanders: A-
The Commanders continued to shock many as they secured a massive 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Jayden Daniels threw a touchdown pass against an interception and scored a rushing touchdown, Brian Robinson Jr. scored a rushing touchdown, Jeremy McNichols scored two rushing touchdowns, and Terry McLaurin scored a receiving touchdown.
