Week 14 was a week to remember, as some NFL teams are doing everything possible to secure divisional wins and playoff spots. Some teams continued to watch their 2024 seasons implode and get eliminated from playoff contention.
The only silver lining for teams who’ve lost is they can potentially land a higher spot to draft new talent in the 2025 NFL Draft. Other teams managed to play very competitive games that kept us wanting more for what was to come in week 15.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams after week 14.
Which NFL teams had the highest and lowest grades after week 14?
Arizona Cardinals: C-
The Cardinals had a decent afternoon at home but fell 18-30 against the Seattle Seahawks, as their efforts weren’t enough. Kyler Murray threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, James Conner had 90 rushing yards and scored a receiving touchdown, Trey McBride had 70 receiving yards, and Michael Wilson scored a receiving touchdown.
On defense, the Cardinals had no sacks or interceptions, but Budda Baker and Kyzir White had the most tackles on the team, with a combined 31 tackles. The Redbirds have talent, but they couldn’t score any points in the fourth quarter and had a tough time slowing down Zach Charbonnet. The Cardinals remain home in week 15 and will welcome the New England Patriots to town.
Atlanta Falcons: D

Kirk Cousins and the Falcons arrived in Minneapolis for their week 14 showdown against Cousins’ former NFL team, the Minnesota Vikings, and lost 21-42 painfully. Cousins threw two interceptions, Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier both scored rushing touchdowns, Darnell Mooney had 142 receiving yards, and Ray-Ray McCloud had 98 receiving yards but lost a fumble in a kick-off return, resulting in a Vikings’ touchdown.
On defense, the Falcons had four sacks but no interceptions. With Cousins starting to regress, head coach Raheem Morris needs to bench his starter and start rookie Michael Penix Jr., right? Wrong! Morris said Cousins is the team’s quarterback despite everything the Falcons’ offense has done on the field. However, the rest of the Falcons’ playmakers on offense continued to shine despite Cousins’ struggles.
Baltimore Ravens: Bye Week
The Ravens have a good team so far, thanks to Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry leading the way, but they need to rebound from their disappointing week 13 loss at home against the Eagles. Luckily, the Ravens will square off against the woeful New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in week 15.
Buffalo Bills: B
The Bills played a thrilling offensive shootout in Hollywood against the Los Angeles Rams but fell just short in their 42-44 loss on the West Coast. Josh Allen threw three touchdowns with no interceptions and scored three rushing touchdowns, Khalil Shakir scored a touchdown, Mack Hollins scored a touchdown, and Ty Johnson scored a touchdown. On defense, the Bills had no sacks or interceptions.
It was an offensive showdown between the Bills and the Rams, but kicker Tyler Bass attempted an onside kick with a minute to go in the fourth quarter, which the Rams ended up recovering, putting the dagger in the Bills’ chances of winning the game, even though Josh Allen played lights out.
Carolina Panthers: C-
The Panthers narrowly pulled off the underdog upset over the Philadelphia Eagles, but an incomplete deep pass to Xavier Legette, a delay of game penalty, and an illegal blindside block penalty called on offensive tackle Iken Ekwonu hurt the team in their 16-22 loss. Bryce Young threw a touchdown against an interception, Chuba Hubbard scored a rushing touchdown, and Tommy Tremble scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Panthers had four sacks but no interceptions. The Panthers managed to put up a decent fight against the Eagles, but as mentioned earlier, two penalties and an incomplete deep pass were the game-breakers in this NFL team’s heartbreaking loss.
Chicago Bears: D
The Bears were getting shut out by the San Francisco 49ers until the second half of their Sunday afternoon clash, but the Bears’ efforts weren’t enough in their 13-38 loss in Santa Clara, CA. Caleb Williams threw two touchdowns with no interceptions but lost a fumble, the Bears’ rushing attack was held to a combined 68 yards, DJ Moore had 49 receiving yards, and Rome Odunze scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Bears had a sack and an interception against the 49ers’ backup quarterback, Brandon Allen. The Bears are in disarray despite Odunze’s performance. Once the 2024 regular season concludes, the team needs to hire a new head coach. Former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is potentially a great candidate to consider.
Cincinnati Bengals: B+
The Bengals traveled to hostile territory and emerged victorious in their 27-20 shootout win over the Dallas Cowboys. Joe Burrow threw three touchdowns against an interception, Chase Brown had 58 rushing yards and scored a receiving touchdown, and Ja’Marr Chase scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Bengals had three sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception. A well-needed win for the Bengals, as the victory helps keep the team’s playoff aspirations alive… for now.

Cleveland Browns: C-
The Browns played an alright game, which could’ve gone better, in their 14-27 loss on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jameis Winston threw two touchdowns against two interceptions, Nick Chubb had 48 rushing yards, and Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku both scored touchdowns. On defense, the Browns had a sack and a fumble.
Winston’s first interception led to a Steelers touchdown immediately after, while Kadarius Toney muffed a punt near the end of the game, which was recovered by the Steelers. The Browns’ 2024-25 playoff ambitions also came to an end, eliminating them from playoff contention after their sloppy loss to their AFC North rivals.
Dallas Cowboys: C
The Cowboys played a very competitive battle against the Cincinnati Bengals but fell short 20-27. Cooper Rush threw two touchdowns against an interception, Rico Dowdle had 131 rushing yards, CeeDee Lamb scored a touchdown, and Brandin Cooks scored a touchdown. On defense, the Cowboys had two sacks and an interception. The Cowboys put up a fight, but they were undone by Amani Oruwariye muffing a punt with less than two minutes left.
The Bengals recovered the punt, and Joe Burrow threw a very nice dart at Ja’Marr Chase to give the Bengals the lead and eventually win over the Cowboys. The Cowboys travel to the Tar Heel State for a week 15 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Denver Broncos: Bye Week
The Broncos have been playing good football recently, and they have the potential to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2015 (the year the Broncos won Super Bowl 50). The Broncos must win most of their next four games if they want to make a trip to the playoffs.
Detroit Lions: B+
The Lions played a great yet intense battle against their NFC North foes, the Green Bay Packers, and won 34-31 thanks to kicker Jake Bates. Jared Goff threw three touchdowns against an interception, David Montgomery scored a rushing touchdown, Jahmyr Gibbs scored a receiving touchdown, Jameson Williams had 80 receiving yards, and Tim Patrick hauled in two touchdowns.
On defense, the Lions had a sack and a fumble recovery but took a hit when Alim McNeil left the game with a concussion. The Lions played intensely well against the Packers and not only emerged on top thanks to Bates’ heroics, but they also managed to secure their spot in the upcoming 2024-25 playoffs.
Green Bay Packers: B-
The Packers and Detroit Lions played a great battle in the second half on Thursday Night Football. Unfortunately, the Packers lost 31-34 in last-second fashion to their NFC North rivals. Jordan Love threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Josh Jacobs scored three rushing touchdowns, Christian Watson had 114 receiving yards but lost a fumble, and Tucker Kraft scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Packers had a sack and an interception. The Packers started the game slowly but managed to make up for lost ground in the second half, making things very close against their longtime rivals. The Packers may not win the NFC North, but they may make a playoff run as a wildcard contender.
Houston Texans: Bye Week
The Texans have a good team and will very likely win the AFC South, but they aren’t the most consistent NFL team on the field, as they’ve had issues with the offensive line due to poor production and injuries. The Texans return to action in week 15 and will host the Miami Dolphins coming to town.
Indianapolis Colts: Bye Week
The Colts have been a very average team in the 2024 NFL season. They can either be good in certain weeks or can let you down in other weeks due to Anthony Richardson’s inaccuracies with the football, even though he’s slightly improved since coming off the bench for a struggling Joe Flacco. The Colts head off to the Mile High City for a week 15 match against the Denver Broncos.
Jacksonville Jaguars: C-
The Jaguars didn’t play a good game against the Tennessee Titans, but they managed to come away with a lucky 10-6 win thanks to scoring all of their points in the fourth quarter. Mac Jones threw two interceptions with no touchdown passes, Tank Bigsby scored the team’s only touchdown, and Brian Thomas Jr. had 86 receiving yards. On defense, the Jaguars had two sacks but no interceptions.
The Jaguars managed to snap their five-game losing streak but lost their chance of having the first overall draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Either way, the Jaguars were eliminated from playoff contention anyway, as they have to focus on getting through the remainder of the 2024 season and start fresh in 2025.
Kansas City Chiefs: B
The Chiefs looked like they intended to win in blowout fashion until the Los Angeles Chargers attempted a comeback in the second half. However, by the skin of their teeth, the Chiefs won a very close 19-17 divisional battle against their AFC West foes in the most improbable circumstances. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Isiah Pacheco rushed for 55 yards, Travis Kelce had 45 receiving yards, and DeAndre Hopkins scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Chiefs had three sacks but no interceptions. Despite the back-and-forth lead changes in the second half, Chiefs’ kicker Matthew Wright kicked the game-winning field goal, which hit the left upright of the goal post and still managed to get in for the field goal, earning the Chiefs their ninth straight AFC West crown.
Las Vegas Raiders: D
It was another brutal afternoon for the Raiders, losing 13-28 in painful fashion against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Aidan O’Connell threw an interception and scored this NFL team’s only rushing touchdown, Sincere McCormick had 78 rushing yards, Michael Mayer had 68 receiving yards, and Jakobi Meyers had 67 receiving yards. On defense, the Raiders had four sacks, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions.
Despite the Raiders’ efforts on defense and from Brock Bowers and McCormick on offense, O’Connell struggled in the passing attack and left the game with a bruised knee bone. If O’Connell is out long-term, Desmond Ridder needs to be ready to step up in the team’s remaining four games.
Los Angeles Chargers: B-
The Chargers played a very competitive neck-and-battle against the Kansas City Chiefs but lost 17-19 due to Chiefs’ kicker Matthew Wright barely making the game-winning kick in the most improbable way possible. Justin Herbert threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Gus Edwards scored a rushing touchdown, Joshua Palmer had 78 receiving yards, and Quentin Johnston scored a receiving touchdown.
On defense, the Chiefs had three sacks but no interceptions. The Chargers’ rushing attack struggled despite Edwards scoring a rushing touchdown, but Palmer stepped up in the Chargers’ passing attack, and the defense played as aggressively as they could against the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
Los Angeles Rams: A-
The Rams played a very high-scoring affair against the Buffalo Bills and emerged on top in a 44-42 victory. Matthew Stafford threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Kyren Williams scored two rushing touchdowns, Puka Nacua scored a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, and Cooper Kupp scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Rams had no sacks or interceptions against Josh Allen. Incredible performances from both the Rams and the Bills, as the Rams emerged on top and kept their playoff ambitions alive in a very competitive NFC West division.
Miami Dolphins: B
The Dolphins played a close and physical battle against their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets, and won 32-26 in overtime. Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, De’Von Achane scored a rushing touchdown, Tyreek Hill scored a touchdown, and Jonnu Smith scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
On defense, the Dolphins had three sacks but no turnovers. A remarkable win for the Dolphins, but the defense needs to make key tackles and prevent their opponents from gaining yardage against them. The Dolphins travel to the Lone Star State for a week 15 showdown against the Houston Texans.
Minnesota Vikings: A-
The Vikings welcomed their old teammate, Kirk Cousins, and the Atlanta Falcons to a hostile environment at U.S. Bank Stadium and won 42-21. Sam Darnold threw five touchdowns with no interceptions, Aaron Jones scored a rushing touchdown, Jordan Addison scored three touchdowns, and Justin Jefferson scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Vikings had a sack and two interceptions. A very dominating afternoon for the Vikings, as they made quick work of Cousins and the Falcons with ease.
New England Patriots: Bye Week
The Patriots may not have the best roster in the NFL, but Drake Maye has so far shown he’s the guy who can lead this team for years to come. The Patriots need to supply Maye with more talented playmakers around him and a stronger offensive line.
New Orleans Saints: C
The Saints didn’t play a great game, but they bounced back from their week 13 loss with a very close 14-11 win over the New York Giants. Derek Carr threw a touchdown against an interception, Kendre Miller scored a rushing touchdown, Juwan Johnson scored a touchdown, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling had 51 receiving yards. On defense, the Saints had two sacks, an interception, and a blocked field goal.
The Saints had their fair share of mistakes but took advantage of the Giants’ missteps and found a way to secure the victory. However, Derek Carr left the game with a hand injury, which is feared to be fractured, which could end his 2024 season.
New York Giants: D
The Giants tried to make a comeback in the fourth quarter against the New Orleans Saints, but kicker Graham Gano had his field goal attempt blocked in the fourth quarter, as they lost 11-14 at home. Drew Lock threw an interception with no touchdown passes, Tyrone Tracy Jr. scored the team’s only touchdown, and Malik Nabers had 79 receiving yards. On defense, the Giants had two sacks, and Tre Hawkins III had this NFL team’s first interception since week one.
A rough afternoon for the G-Men, as the 2025 offseason can’t come soon enough. To make matters more insulting, a plane flew over MetLife Stadium with a message saying, “Mr. Mara, enough. Please fix this dumpster fire.”
New York Jets: C
The Jets tried their best to compete with the Miami Dolphins in South Beach but lost 26-32 in overtime. Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Isaiah Davis scored a rushing touchdown, and Davante Adams scored a touchdown. On defense, the Jets had no sacks or interceptions, but they did have four pass deflections.
Once the Dolphins won the coin toss in overtime, they didn’t look back and scored a touchdown in a 70-yard drive to the end zone. The Jets were also eliminated from playoff contention to add salt to the wound.
Philadelphia Eagles: B
The Eagles played a shockingly competitive battle against the Carolina Panthers but emerged on top 22-16. Jalen Hurts threw two touchdowns and scored a rushing touchdown, Saquon Barkley had 124 rushing yards, A.J. Brown had 43 receiving yards, and DeVonta Smith and Grant Calcaterra both scored touchdowns. On defense, the Eagles had a sack and an interception. Despite the close win, the Eagles managed to secure a playoff spot.
Barkley broke the team’s single-season rushing record as he currently has 1,623 yards on the ground, surpassing LeSean McCoy’s 1,607 yards on the ground from his historic 2013 NFL season. The Eagles remain home and will welcome their in-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, to town in an epic week 15 showdown.
Pittsburgh Steelers: B
The Steelers had a nice afternoon in front of their home crowd and defeated the Cleveland Browns 27-14. Russell Wilson threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Najee Harris scored a rushing touchdown, and Pat Freiermuth and Van Jefferson both scored touchdowns. On defense, the Steelers had two interceptions and three sacks against Jameis Winston. The Steelers missed George Pickens, who was out due to a hamstring injury, as no wide receiver topped 40 yards in the passing attack.
Regardless, the Steelers earned a nice revenge divisional win over their AFC North rivals. The Steelers travel east for a week 15 interstate showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
San Francisco 49ers: A-
The 49ers played a great game and snapped their three-game losing streak in their 38-13 win over the Chicago Bears. Brock Purdy threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Isaac Guerendo scored two rushing touchdowns, Patrick Taylor Jr. scored a rushing touchdown, Jauan Jennings scored two receiving touchdowns, and George Kittle had 151 receiving yards.
On defense, the 49ers had seven tackles and a fumble recovery. A great rebound game for the 49ers. Unfortunately, the blowout win didn’t help the 49ers in the standings, as they’re currently tied with the Arizona Cardinals at the bottom of the NFC West standings. The 49ers remain home in week 15 and will welcome their divisional rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, to town.
Seattle Seahawks: B+
The Seahawks played a great game against their NFC West rivals, the Arizona Cardinals, and won 30-18 in dominating fashion to maintain control of first place in the conference. Geno Smith threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Zach Charbonnet scored two rushing touchdowns, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba scored a touchdown. On defense, the Seahawks had two sacks and two interceptions against Kyler Murray.
The Seahawks swept their NFC West foe in dominating fashion thanks to Charbonnet stepping up for an injured Kenneth Walker III. Smith played comfortably, and Smith-Njigba had another great afternoon on offense. The Seahawks’ defense also made drastic noise and made sure Kyler Murray and the Redbirds had a rough afternoon.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C+
The Bucs played a good game at home, defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 28-13. Baker Mayfield threw three touchdowns against two interceptions, Rachaad White scored a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, Mike Evans had 69 receiving yards, Cade Otton had 70 receiving yards, and Jalen McMillan scored two receiving touchdowns. On defense, the Bucs had a fumble recovery, two sacks, and an interception.
A good afternoon for the Bucs, as they reclaimed first place in the NFC South… for now. However, the team lost Bucky Irving to a nagging back injury in the second quarter of their recent NFL game. If Irving is out long-term, White and the other running backs must step up.
Tennessee Titans: D-
The Titans had a rough afternoon at home and lost 6-10 against the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars. Will Levis didn’t throw any touchdowns or interceptions, Tony Pollard had 102 rushing yards, and Calvin Ridley had 59 receiving yards. On defense, the Titans had two interceptions and a sack. Although the Titans played well on defense, it wasn’t enough, as the Jaguars punched their ticket to the goal line in the fourth quarter and were able to win it.
The Titans almost had a chance to win the game, but Nick Westbrook-Ikhine couldn’t haul in Levis’s pass, which would’ve been a touchdown near the end of the game with 1:11 left on the clock. The Titans will remain home in week 15 and will welcome the Cincinnati Bengals to town.
Washington Commanders: Bye Week
The Commanders are having a solid 2024 season so far. Jayden Daniels has formed great on-field chemistry with Terry McLaurin and Brian Robinson Jr., and the defense has been able to play aggressive football against their opponents at times. The Commanders head to the Big Easy for a week 15 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
