Week 13 was another incredible week in the NFL, as we saw some great football games played on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and the first Sunday of December. NFL teams are doing everything they can to get a spot in the upcoming 2024-25 playoffs. A lot of teams played very hard and competitively, win or lose.
However, other teams completely fell apart due to injuries catching up to them, recent struggles, and not adjusting well to cold weather outdoor stadiums. The regular season has only five weeks left, with time running faster than we realize. We can’t wait to see what week 14 gives us.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams after week 13.
Which NFL teams had the highest and lowest grades after week 13?
Arizona Cardinals: C
The Cardinals played a slow yet intense game, as they narrowly fell to the Minnesota Vikings 22-23. Kyler Murray threw a touchdown against two interceptions, James Conner had 68 rushing yards, Trey McBride had 96 receiving yards, and Marvin Harrison Jr. hauled in a touchdown in the third quarter.
On defense, the Cardinals had five sacks and a fumble recovery. The Redbirds moved the ball well against a strong defense, but offensive penalties hurt the team, and they failed to capitalize on most of their trips to the red zone. The Cardinals’ defense also made things tough for Sam Darnold and the Vikings’ rushing attack.
Atlanta Falcons: D

The Falcons had another rough outing at home, as they lost 13-17 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kirk Cousins threw four interceptions with no touchdowns, Bijan Robinson scored the team’s only touchdown, Ray-Ray McCloud III had 95 receiving yards, and Drake London had 86 receiving yards.
On defense, the Falcons had five sacks and a fumble recovery by Clark Phillips III. While the defense stepped up, their efforts weren’t enough, as Cousins struggled all game long and wasn’t able to throw a touchdown pass.
Baltimore Ravens: C+
The Ravens had themselves a bit of a tough, late afternoon at home, as they lost 19-24 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Lamar Jackson threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Derrick Henry had 82 rushing yards, Zay Flowers had 74 receiving yards, and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely both scored touchdowns. On defense, the Ravens had two sacks but no interceptions against Jalen Hurts. Veteran kicker Justin Tucker had a brutal performance, as he missed two field goal attempts in the second half.
Meanwhile, the Ravens lost wide receiver Rashod Bateman to a knee injury and safety Sanoussi Kane to a hamstring injury. Luckily, the Ravens head into a bye week for week 14 and will return to action in week 15 against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
Buffalo Bills: A-
The Bills played an outstanding battle against the San Francisco 49ers in their 35-10 dominating win in the snow. Josh Allen threw two touchdown passes with no interceptions, scored a rushing touchdown, and scored a receiving touchdown. James Cook and Ray Davis both scored rushing touchdowns, and Mack Hollins scored a touchdown. On defense, the Bills had two sacks and two defensive fumble recoveries.
The craziest moment from the game came at 5:58 left in the third quarter when Josh Allen threw a pass to Amari Cooper, who was swarmed by 49ers’ defensive backs, who then threw the ball back to Allen, who caught it as a reception and scored the touchdown. Allen and the Bills clinched the AFC East crown and celebrated by making snow angels on the field.
Carolina Panthers: B-
The Panthers played a very competitive divisional battle against their NFC South rivals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but lost 23-26 in overtime. Bryce Young threw a touchdown with no interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Chuba Hubbard had 43 rushing yards but lost a fumble in overtime, and Adam Thielen scored a receiving touchdown to take the lead in the fourth quarter before Bucs’ kicker Chase McLaughlin sent the game to overtime, and won the game for the Bucs in overtime.
On defense, the Panthers had four sacks and two interceptions. A valiant effort by the Panthers, but Hubbard’s lost fumble in overtime changed the outcome of the game in the Bucs’ favor, as they capitalized on it and defeated the Panthers with McLaughlin’s game-ending field goal.
Chicago Bears: C-
The Bears started their Thanksgiving match-up against the Detroit Lions on a sour note, as they were blown out 16-0 at halftime until they attempted a comeback attempt in the second half, but fell flat 20-23 due to head coach Matt Eberflus’ poor playcalling by the end of the game. Caleb Williams threw three touchdowns against no interceptions, D’Andre Swift and Williams both rushed for 39 yards, Keenan Allen scored two touchdowns, and DJ Moore scored a touchdown. On defense, the Bears had two sacks and a fumble recovery.
CBS’s Jim Nance said at the end of the game, “Disaster in the making” was the statement of the week, as the Bears should’ve taken a timeout with seconds left on the clock before Williams’ Hail Mary attempt, but it never happened. This NFL team lost badly to their NFC North rivals. As a result, the Bears fired Eberflus and named offensive coordinator Thomas Brown as the new interim head coach.
Cincinnati Bengals: B-
The Bengals put up a solid fight against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but their efforts weren’t enough in the 38-44 loss at home. Joe Burrow threw three touchdowns against an interception and lost two fumbles, Chase Brown scored a rushing touchdown, and Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Andrei Iosivas each scored touchdowns. On defense, the Bengals had two sacks, and Cam Taylor-Brit had an interception returned for a 51-yard pick-six.
Despite leading 14-7 in the first quarter, the Bengals had trouble containing the Steelers, as they looked sharp for most of the game. With this loss, the Bengals’ chances of making a postseason run diminished, as the team is currently at 4-8.

Cleveland Browns: C+
The Browns played a wild Monday night game against the Denver Broncos in the “Mile High City” but came up short in their 32-41 loss. Jameis Winston threw four touchdowns against three costly interceptions, Jerome Ford rushed for 41 yards, David Njoku hauled in two touchdowns, and Jerry Jeudy had 235 receiving yards and scored a touchdown. On defense, the Browns had two interceptions but no sacks against Bo Nix.
The Browns fought hard, especially Jeudy (as he played exceptionally well against the NFL team that drafted him back in 2020), but their valiant efforts weren’t enough in the end. The Browns travel to Keystone State for a week 14 divisional showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dallas Cowboys: B
The Cowboys earned their first win at home in the 2024 season in a 27-20 competitive divisional battle against the New York Giants on Thanksgiving. Cooper Rush threw a touchdown against no interceptions and wasn’t sacked at all. Rico Dowdle scored a rushing touchdown, and Brandin Cooks scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Cowboys had six sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception by DeMarvion Overshown, who returned for a 23-yard pick-six. The Cowboys receivers had a somewhat quiet afternoon, while Dowdle and Overshown helped carry the Cowboys to a sweet victory on Thanksgiving afternoon.
Denver Broncos: B
The Broncos played a solid game against the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football and won 41-32. Bo Nix threw a touchdown against two interceptions, Jaleel McLaughlin had 84 rushing yards, Michael Burton and Javonte Williams both scored rushing touchdowns, Courtland Sutton had 102 receiving yards, and Marvin Mims Jr. scored a receiving touchdown.
On defense, the Broncos had three sacks and three interceptions, and two of those interceptions were returned for pick-sixes. Even though Nix threw two interceptions on the night, the offense and defense stepped up in a massive way to close out week 13 on a high note.
Detroit Lions: B+
It was another great day at the office on Ford Field, as the Lions secured a good yet close 23-20 Thanksgiving win over the Chicago Bears. Jared Goff threw two touchdowns against no interceptions, David Montgomery had 88 rushing yards, Jahmyr Gibbs had 87 rushing yards, Amon-Ra St. Brown had 73 receiving yards, and Sam LaPorta scored two touchdowns.
On defense, the Lions had five sacks and held both Caleb Williams and D’Andre Swift to a combined 78 yards on the ground but didn’t have any interceptions. The Lions played well and competitively against their NFC North rivals, earning their first Thanksgiving win since 2016.
Green Bay Packers: B+
The Packers had themselves a Thanksgiving night to remember as they defeated the Miami Dolphins 30-17. Jordan Love threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Josh Jacobs scored a rushing touchdown, Tucker Kraft had 78 receiving yards, and Jayden Reed hauled in two touchdowns.
On defense, the Packers had five sacks and a fumble recovery. The Packers made their fair share of errors in the game but built themselves a strong lead. The cold weather affected the Dolphins because this NFL team was not used to playing in cold weather outdoor stadiums.
Houston Texans: B
The Texans played a competitive and controversial battle against the Jacksonville Jaguars and emerged on top 23-20. C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Joe Mixon scored a rushing touchdown, Nico Collins had 119 receiving yards, and Dalton Schultz scored a receiving touchdown. On defense, the Texans had an interceptions and no sacks. However, Texans’ linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair delivered a very dirty hit against Trevor Lawrence, which gave him a concussion.
A brawl broke out between the Texans and Jaguars with four minutes left in the first half as a direct result of Al-Shaair’s dirty hit. Al-Shaair apologized for the hit the day after the game and will be suspended by the NFL as a result, but it’s not known how long the suspension will be.
Indianapolis Colts: C
The Colts played a very competitive back-and-fourth battle against the New England Patriots and emerged as winners in the 25-24 victory on the road. Anthony Richardson threw two touchdowns against two interceptions and scored a rushing touchdown, Jonathan Taylor had 96 rushing yards and seven receiving yards and scored a receiving touchdown, and Alec Pierce caught the game-winning touchdown.
On defense, the Colts had four sacks and an interception against Drake Maye. A very competitive match-up for the Colts as they keep their playoff ambitions alive… for now.
Jacksonville Jaguars: C
The Jaguars played a very intense battle against the Houston Texans at home but lost 20-23. Trevor Lawrence returned to action and threw an interception but suffered a scary concussion after taking a hit from Azeez Al-Shaair, and a brawl broke out between both the Jaguars and Texans with four minutes left in the second quarter. Mac Jones took over and threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Travis Etienne Jr. had 46 rushing yards, and Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr. both scored touchdowns.
On defense, the Jaguars had two sacks but no interceptions. Losing Lawrence to a concussion after he returned to action from a shoulder injury drastically stung, but the Jags did everything they could to come from behind against the Texans. Unfortunately, they lost in the end.
Kansas City Chiefs: B+
The Chiefs played a very tight contest against their AFC West rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders, and won a very close 19-17 battle on Black Friday. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Isiah Pacheco returned to action and had 44 rushing yards, DeAndre Hopkins had 90 receiving yards, and Justin Watson scored a touchdown. On defense, the Chiefs had three sacks, and Nick Bolton had the game-ending fumble recovery.
Bolton saved the Chiefs from a second-straight loss, as rookie center Jackson Powers-Johnson snapped the ball to Aiden O’Connell, who overlooked the snap and lost the fumble, giving the Chiefs an early Cyber Monday present.
Las Vegas Raiders: C
The Raiders played a very close neck-and-neck battle against the Kansas City Chiefs on Black Friday but fell short 17-19 as Aiden O’Connell fumbled the ball with 15 seconds left in the game. O’Connell threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Sincere McCormick had 64 rushing yards, and Brock Bowers and Tre Tucker both scored touchdowns.
On defense, the Raiders had four sacks but no interceptions. The Raiders made improvements in the rushing attack, but O’Connell’s lost fumble at the end of the game hurt them, as it gave the Chiefs another very narrow win.
Los Angeles Chargers: C-
The Chargers didn’t play that much better against the Atlanta Falcons, but they snagged the 17-13 win, which is all that matters at the end of the day. Justin Herbert threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked five times. The Chargers’ rushing attack was held to a combined 56 yards on the ground, and Ladd McConkey had 117 receiving yards.
On defense, the Chargers had a sack and four interceptions, while one of them was returned by Tarheeb Still for a 61-yard pick-six. This NFL team’s offense struggled throughout the game, but the defense, coached by defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, stepped up and made Kirk Cousins’ afternoon a miserable one, to say the least.
Los Angeles Rams: B
The Rams rebounded from their week 12 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles and topped the New Orleans Saints 21-14 in the Superdome. Matthew Stafford threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Kyren Williams scored a rushing touchdown, and Puka Nacua and Demarcus Robinson both scored touchdowns.
On defense, the Rams had no sacks or interceptions. The Rams shined more on offense, as they looked excellent in the red zone and rushing attack in their come-from-behind victory over the Saints in the second half of the game.
Miami Dolphins: D+
If there’s one thing that doesn’t mix, it’s the Miami Dolphins and cold weather, as the team was defeated 17-30 against the Green Bay Packers in Labeau Field on Thanksgiving night. Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdowns against no interceptions but was sacked five times, the Dolphins’ rushing attack was held to 39 yards on the ground, Jonnu Smith had 113 receiving yards, and Tyreek Hill and De’Von Achane both scored receiving touchdowns. On defense, the Dolphins had no sacks or interceptions against Jordan Love.
Even though Tagovailoa did everything he could to help the Dolphins out, the Packers’ defense was too much for the team overall, and Malik Washington’s muffed punt didn’t help either. The Dolphins are also 0-12 in games where the temperature is under 40 degrees.
Minnesota Vikings: B-
The Vikings were down 13-19 by the end of the third quarter against the Arizona Cardinals but came back from behind and won 23-22. Sam Darnold threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, the Vikings’ rushing attack was held to 68 yards on the ground, Justin Jefferson had 99 receiving yards, and Aaron Jones and Johnny Mundt both scored receiving touchdowns.
On defense, the Vikings had two interceptions and a sack against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. The Vikings looked good against the Redbirds, and it looks like they have everything in the making for a playoff run by the time the regular season ends.
New England Patriots: C
The Patriots played a very competitive battle against the visiting Indianapolis Colts but lost 24-25. Drake Maye threw a touchdown against an interception, Rhamondre Steven had 73 rushing yards, Antonio Gibson scored a rushing touchdown, Hunter Henry had 75 receiving yards, and Austin Hooper scored a touchdown. On defense, the Patriots had no sacks, but they did have two interceptions against Anthony Richardson.
A decent performance by the Patriots, but they lost a heartbreaker due to Joey Slye missing a field goal in the final seconds of the game and were eliminated from playoff contention… to add salt to the wound.
New Orleans Saints: C
The Saints played an okay game at home against the visiting Los Angeles Rams but lost 14-21. Derek Carr threw a touchdown with no interception, Alvin Kamara had 112 rushing yards, Marquez Valdes-Scantling scored a touchdown, and Taysom Hill had 37 receiving yards but suffered a season-ending ACL injury. On defense, the Saints had two sacks but no interceptions against the Rams.
Carr and Kamara played well, but the Saints’ defense couldn’t stop Rams’ running back Kyren Williams. Losing Tayson Hill is going to hurt the Saints, as the team has five games left in the NFL regular season, which are must-wins if they want to finish the season on a positive note.
New York Giants: D
The Giants played a competitive yet messy game in their 20-27 loss against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Drew Lock threw a costly interception but scored a rushing touchdown, Tyrone Tracy Jr. scored a rushing touchdown, and Malik Nabers had 69 receiving yards. On defense, the Giants had no sacks or interceptions in their prime-time loss. The Giants were also eliminated from playoff contention, as the team lacked motivation and have an uncertain future coming when the 2025 NFL offseason begins.
New York Jets: C-
The Jets’ started their showdown against the Seattle Seahawks with a 21-16 halftime lead but let it all slip away in the second half, as they lost 21-26. Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdowns against a very costly interception, Breece Hall had 60 rushing yards, and Davante Adams and Isaiah Davis both scored touchdowns. On defense, the Jets had three sacks and a fumble recovery by Brandin Echols.
Kene Nwangwu also contributed for the Jets, as he scored a kick return for a touchdown. The Jets crumbled and collapsed in the second half, faster than a game of Jenga, and will finish the 2024 season with their ninth straight losing record.
Philadelphia Eagles: A-
The Eagles played a very solid game against the Baltimore Ravens, as they emerged on top as victors in a 24-19 win. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown and scored a rushing touchdown, Saquon Barkley had 107 rushing yards on the ground and scored a touchdown, A.J. Brown had 66 receiving yards, and Dallas Goedert scored a receiving touchdown. On defense, the Eagles had three sacks but no interceptions.
Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio deserves credit for keeping the Ravens’ offense at bay for most of the second half until Isaiah Likely scored a touchdown in the last seconds of the game. Meanwhile, the Eagles’ offense showed why they’re one of the best offensive units in the league, with a dominating performance against the Ravens’ defense.
Pittsburgh Steelers: B+
The Steelers rebounded from their week 12 loss and earned themselves an impressive week 13 44-38 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Russell Wilson threw three touchdowns against one interception, Najee Harris scored a rushing touchdown, and George Pickens, Pat Freiermuth, and Calvin Austin III each scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Steelers had four sacks, an interception, and three fumble recoveries, while one of them was returned for a 21-yard touchdown by Payton Wilson. The Steelers rebounded well against their AFC North rivals, but Goerge Pickens has some on-the-field issues to work on, as the Steelers have five games to go in the 2024 regular season.
San Francisco 49ers: D-
The 49ers had a very rough night in the snow-covered Highmark Stadium in Western New York, as they lost 10-35 against the Buffalo Bills. Brock Purdy threw no touchdowns or interceptions, Jordan Mason had 78 rushing yards, Isaac Guerendo scored this NFL team’s only touchdown, and Jauan Jennings had 56 receiving yards.
On defense, the 49ers had no sacks or interceptions. Lost fumbles and injuries not only cost the 49ers the win, but the weather played a huge factor in their loss. However, their biggest loss came when running back Christian McCaffrey suffered a potential season-ending PCL injury in the game. With this loss, the 49ers’ 2024 season is in jeopardy of completely falling flat in painful fashion.
Seattle Seahawks: B
The Seahawks played a very competitive game against the New York Jets, as they came back from being down 16-21 at halftime to win 26-21. Geno Smith threw a touchdown with no interceptions, Kenneth Walker III had 49 rushing yards, Zach Charbonnet scored a rushing touchdown, Jaxson Smith-Njigba had 74 receiving yards, and AJ Barner scored a touchdown. On defense, the Seahawks had a fumble recovery and two sacks, and Lenoard Williams had an interception returned for a 92-yard pick-six.
Smith and Williams earned their revenge win against the NFL team that drafted them back in 2013 and 2015, respectively, as they also helped the Seahawks retain control of first place in the NFC West… for now.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B
The Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers played a very intense divisional battle, which resulted in the Bucs winning 26-23 in overtime via a Chase McLaughlin field goal. Baker Mayfield didn’t play his best game, as he threw a touchdown against two interceptions, Bucky Irving stepped up and scored a rushing touchdown, and Mike Evans scored a receiving touchdown. On defense, the Bucs had a fumble recovery by Yaya Diaby and a sack but no interceptions.
Mayfield may have struggled in the game, but Irving and Evans stepped up and bailed him out, thanks to their performances on offense, while Diaby’s fumble recovery saved the game in the Bucs’ favor.
Tennessee Titans: D+
Even though Will Levis and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine played well for the Titans, the rest of this NFL team struggled against the Washington Commanders in their 19-42 loss on the road. Levis threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, Tony Pollard had 35 rushing yards, Westbrook-Ikhine scored two touchdowns, and Calvin Ridley had 45 receiving yards. On defense, the Titans had two sacks and an interception.
Right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere struggled along with most of the Titans wide receivers, who aren’t named Westbrook-Ikhine or Ridley, and the defense couldn’t slow down Jayden Reed, Brian Robinson Jr., and Terry McLaurin from having excellent performances. The Titans return home in week 14 and will welcome the Jacksonville Jaguars to town.
Washington Commanders: A-
The Commanders turned the page after their shocking week 12 loss against the Dallas Cowboys and dismantled the Tennessee Titans 42-19. Jayden Daniels threw three touchdowns against an interception and scored a rushing touchdown, Brian Robinson Jr. scored a rushing touchdown, Chris Rodriguez scored a rushing touchdown, Terry McLaurin scored two receiving touchdowns, and Zach Ertz scored a touchdown.
On defense, the Commanders had two sacks and two fumble recoveries and held the Titans’ rushing attack to a combined 35 yards on the ground. The Commanders looked incredible as they claw their way back in the NFC East standings. However, kicker Zane Gonzalez struggled and missed two field goal attempts for the team.
