Week 10 saw some NFL teams dominate their opponents in spectacular style, as they certainly have the playoffs on their minds.
Other teams lost very close nail-biting battles even though they did everything they could on the field, and some teams completely fell flat and unraveled, showing they have a lot of work to accomplish in the 2025 NFL offseason.
Regardless, week 10 didn’t disappoint. What an exciting way to start the second half of the 2024 season, leaving us wanting more action and drama for week 11.

On defense, the Bills had four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and three interceptions, with one being returned by Taron Johnson for a 23-yard pick-six. The Bills return home for a week 11 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Carolina Panthers: C+
The Panthers have built upon their week nine win, as they narrowly completed their overtime win over the New York Giants 20-17, in Munich, Germany. Bryce Young threw a touchdown against no interceptions, Chuba Hubbard scored a rushing touchdown, and Ja’Tavion Sanders scored a touchdown. On defense, the Panthers had two sacks, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions against Daniel Jones. The Panthers showed grit against the Giants and have earned themselves delicious schnitzel to snack on for the plane ride back to the United States. Danke shein Panthers.

Cleveland Browns: Bye Week
The Browns have had a rough 2024 season so far, but with Nick Chubb back in the lineup and Jameis Winston leading the offense, the team should be able to perform slightly better than they started the 2024 NFL season. The Browns’ defense also is a good unit and deserves their fair share of credit where credit is due.
Dallas Cowboys: D-
It was a disastrous afternoon for the Cowboys at home, as they fell flat 6-34 against their longtime NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. Dak Prescott’s season ended, and he will have surgery to repair his partially torn hamstring. Cooper Rush threw no touchdowns or interceptions but was sacked once and lost two fumbles. Trey Lance also played, threw an interception, and was sacked twice.
Rico Dowdle had 53 rushing yards, Jake Ferguson had 24 receiving yards, and CeeDee Lamb had 21 receiving yards. On defense, the Cowboys had five sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception by Trevon Diggs.
With this loss in the books, the Cowboys may regret not making more moves in free agency in the 2024 offseason. Who knows, maybe signing more talent this past offseason could have given them a better result. The team also lost their fourth straight home game of the NFL season. The Cowboys stay home and welcome their AFC counterparts, the Houston Texans, in week 11 on Monday Night Football.
Denver Broncos: C
The Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs played a neck-and-neck battle and almost handed the Chiefs their first loss of the 2024 season, but the Chiefs blocked the Broncos’ potential game-winning kick, as they fell 14-16 at Arrowhead Stadium. Bo Nix threw two touchdowns against no interceptions in the second quarter, Audric Estime rushed for 53 yards, and Courtland Sutton and Devaugh Vale both scored touchdowns in the second quarter.
On defense, the Broncos had four tackles but no interceptions. A very heartbreaking way for the Broncos to lose, as the Chiefs blocked a field goal, preventing them from winning by one point. The Broncos return home for a week 11 showdown against the Atlanta Falcons at home.
Detroit Lions: C
The Lions played a decent battle against the Houston Texans and won in the final seconds of the game 26-23, thanks to kicker Jake Bates’ heroics, kicking the game-winning field goal with only seconds left. Jared Goff threw two touchdowns but threw a whopping five interceptions, Jahmyr Gibbs had 71 rushing yards, David Montgomery scored a rushing touchdown, and Sam LaPorta and Amon-Ra St. Brown both scored receiving touchdowns. The Texans played a valiant battle against the Detroit Lions but lost 23-26 in the very end. C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown against two interceptions, Joe Mixon scored a rushing touchdown, and John Metchie III scored a touchdown. On defense, the Texans had a whopping five interceptions but no interceptions. Even though the Texans had five interceptions against Jared Goff, it wasn’t enough, as the Lions punched the winning kill shot in the very last second of the game, thanks to Lions’ kicker Jake Bates kicking the game-winning field goal, dashing the Texans’ hopes of snapping their losing streak.
Indianapolis Colts: C-
The Colts had played a decent game but fell short in their 20-30 loss against the Buffalo Bills. Joe Flacco threw two touchdowns against three interceptions and lost a fumble, Jonathan Taylor rushed for 114 yards, and Josh Downs and Tyler Goodson both scored touchdowns. On defense, the Colts had two sacks and two interceptions. The Colts played fair, but their efforts weren’t enough to slow down the Bills’ rushing attack or their defense. The Colts travel east for a showdown against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Jacksonville Jaguars: D
The Jaguars’ struggles continued, as they were dropped 7-12 against the visiting Minnesota Vikings, who didn’t even score a single touchdown all game. Travis Etienne Jr. had 44 rushing yards, and Evan Engram had 40 receiving yards. On defense, the Jaguars had a sack and three interceptions against Sam Darnold. A painful loss nonetheless. The Jaguars need to make some immediate changes for the 2025 off-season.
Kansas City Chiefs: B
The Chiefs didn’t play their best game against the Denver Broncos, but they were able to sneak away with a 16-14 win over their AFC West rivals, thanks to Leo Chenal blocking Will Lutz from attempting a potential game-winning kick. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown to Travis Kelce but was sacked four times, the Chiefs’ rushing attack was held to a combined 57 yards on the ground, Kareem Hunt rushed for 35 yards and had 65 receiving yards, Kelce scored the Chiefs’ only touchdown, and DeAndre Hopkins had 56 receiving yards.

On defense, the Rams had a fumble recovery, three sacks, and an interception. The Rams struggled offensively and weren’t able to score a single touchdown all game. Drake Maye threw a touchdown against an interception, Rhamondre Stevenson had 74 rushing yards, Austin Hooper had 81 receiving yards, and Ja’Lynn Polk scored a touchdown.
