The Dallas Cowboys’ 2021 season is over. It still hurts for the fan base that watched a once promising season come to an end in the Wild card round.
Dallas, the No. 3 seed in the NFC, was upset at home by the No. 6 seed San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
Dallas had the ball late in the fourth quarter, hoping to get close enough to take a shot at the end zone.
Dak Prescott ended those hopes when he ran up the middle, trying to get closer to the goal line, but the team lacked timeouts. Instead of giving the ball to the ref, Dak handed it to his center and the trailing ref would collide with him.
The mistakes would cause the Cowboys to run out of time.
